Luts Kid Delf Discussion part 15

I thought my orders and points had transferred when I first checked, but going back there today it said I didn't have an account. So I've created a new account and requested the transfer, and hopefully it'll all work out :/

I've ordered my limited KDF Pine Romance Elf today though, to go with the other two KDF elves (Yul Elf & Yul Romance Elf) for the event pickup this month, and my Bory Elf. Oh yes, I do like the elves!

Which other KDF elves are there? Nana Elf, Pine Elf, Berry Elf, Jamong Elf, Hodoo Elf, Cherry Elf.. Any others to add to my wishlist?

 

@Donna80 - The same thing happened to me. It took a few days for the points to appear in the new account. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to use them on the pine romance elf head order. Do you know if there are any non limited elves?

 

@xyuemoto I don't think there are non limited ones.. I'm pretty sure we just get event releases only for the elf versions, so I've leapt at the chance.

This is my boy JIN, he's a KDF AN. I just wanted to share what an awesome sculpt AN actually is I bought him back in 2016 because I felt kind of sorry for the guy. Back then at least I got this feeling the sculpt wasn't as popular and his promotional pictures does not do him any justice. I think the pictures of him on Luts's site keep people from wanting to buy him, which is a shame because the sculpt is even more amazing when you see it irl!

My AN is one of the best purchases I've ever done from Luts and I'm just so happy to have him

I know what you mean I'm getting half my Luts in Normal and half in Brown tan. The brown is just soo cute, and I do find the NS a little pale.

 

Can someone tell me if you use monique wigs can you fit a 6-7 on the kid delf head?

 

He is a brown bory with the default faceup!

I heard it depends on the sculpt of the doll and also which wig it is... it all varies... I've been wanting to get monique wigs too but no clue which size for which wigs are gonna fit Bory right. Most of the wigs I got seems to be just a tiny bit too big for Bory.

@asatou Brown dolls are so nice. There's something really warm and humanizing about darker resins. I kinda wish I had my Bory in RSB but wev, he's my baby no matter how pasty and yellow he gets.

Does anyone know if just head orders take the same amount of time as a full doll with Luts?

 

It's so interesting to me that skin tone can really alter which wigs look good or not. Seems like a lot of wigs look better on brown dolls, or it could just be the faceup my normal bory have... and it's so difficult to find him a good wig that matches T_T

 

Borys look great in tan @asatou and the RSB makes colourful fantasy wigs really pop!

 

For anyone curious about hybrids, Kid Delf heads fit Doll Leaves msd bodies pretty well. This is Doll Leaves NS with Luts NS, which isn't a perfect color match but I plan to blush. Luts NS is more yellow toned while Doll Leaves NS is more peachy.

Ooooh, thanks for sharing the hybrid! I wonder what other bodies kid delf fits on and what head fits on kdf bodies lol.

What are the differences between the Doll Leaves msd bodies and the original kdf bodies?

I can snap some pics during the day! I have the kd classic male body and the kd type 1 girl body I can compare to it. The Doll Leaves body is slightly shorter and slimmer, but not a bad hybrid.

 

New picture of Saku and Mochi because my friend sent me those ears XD They're a bit too big on them (it falls off and doesn't keep in place) but it still looks cute!

Got a question for anyone with highheel feet! Where do you order your shoes from? I wasn't expecting my luts order so soon, so my girl doesn't have any shoes to wear with them. X3 I'm currently looking into Alicecollections because I really want the luca doll! And their shoes and boots look super cute! But if someone has experience with them please let me know.

@Snow White @Shougi They're all so cute! There's something so precious about fashionable KDFs. They're really like mini people. Though Annix resists all my attempts to put him in "silly clown clothes" as he'd put it were he alive. I'll just have to use my new MDF for fancy clown clothes.

Thanks! I agree! Kids are lovely! And it’s true that when it comes to clothing, it seems as though some dolls resist. I’ve tried a couple of clothes on my dolls that just don’t work... haha.

 

My RSB Coco girl, Kirara, wearing a uniform with her sister today! I swapped out her original hands with some resinsoul hands that I dyed to colormatch Luts’s brown skin. I just wanted her to have more slender fingers.

Not sure if anyone lives near a Tuesday Morning but their "Style Girls" clothing packs and shoes fit KDF pretty well! Unfortunately mine only had the glitter ones but I did find a cute pair of hightop shoes for my KDF Nana!! Good luck

Thanks for the suggestion! I have been looking for more factory brand/main stream doll clothing lines that can fit KDF. I recently found that Glitter Girls clothing works great. The plastic shoes can be hit or miss, but I don't mind it. You can purchase clothing packs on Amazon!
