Philemon is a boy, actually. The wig he's currently borrowing does belong to one of my girls though. I'm super happy I decided to snag him.

Congratulations on your Yul @xellos !! He's absolutely gorgeous, I'd love to see more photos of him, Yul is one of my absolute favourite kid delf sculpts.

My Elf Kiwi's (Wintery 12) wig came in a few days ago and she's so close to being perfectly rainbow (I'm still debating whether or not she needs rainbow eyes)

 

Congratulations everyone on your new dolls. And since everyone IS posting their new dollies, I think I will include a pic of my new guy. He is still trying to decide if he wants to be called Star or Naoyuki. We'll figure it out eventually.

Wow! What a pose! She's so cute~ (My Aelic only has single jointed knees as well, and that plus stretched elastic equals not great leg posing...he stands great though even with that, so I guess KDFs are great for standing!)

She's absolutely fantastic! Those pupilless eyes plus the colorfun faceup and clothes is such a nice dichotomy. I love the blushing on her ears!

Hi everyone! Thank you for your kind works about my Cherry

I played with my two Luts bodies quite a bit last night and wrote up a posing comparison thread, which you can find here in the Mini Dolls Discussion section. I hope you'll check it out, especially if you are trying to choose between the Type 1 and Type 2 bodies.

If I ever get a Type 5, I'll include it as well :3

And, can I just say.. I LOVE Luts' ankle joints! They're actually quite strong

 

Thank you for this. It makes me wish the Type 5 body had classic stringing like the Type 1. I love the new chubby body, but I am not a fan of the peg leg system.

@wherethelilacsbloom wow, that review is amazing!! As are your posing skills WOW!! I was wondering whether my Kiwi's posing problems were because of her really old elastic or the engineering and sounds like it might be a bit of both from your review!

No one has posted in almost a week! We need some kid delf spam! Too bad I'm not home to provide them

So general questions: what Ages do you normally make your kid delfs?

Mine range from 15 to 19 (well, because I have one on a model delf body)

 

Aelic kind of fluctuates between 15 and 17 depending on where he is in his story, I guess. I don't think I'd go any older than that 'cause he's got such a baby face~ (Also, his new clothes should be coming in soon, hopefully today, so I'll definitely be spamming! )

 

That's the biggest problem with luts msds. Most of their faces can be very baby face. But I still role with it. X3

 

Three of mine are dipictions of gods (all Norse, funny enough), so pretty ancient if they count. One of mine is about 23, he's on a model delf body though. Two, which never interact with the "older" ones, are nine and twelve, and one is 15~17. They just range all over.

 

Mine are around 10-13 years old. I do have the larger Delfs that are the adults of the group, so my KDFs and my other immature MSD doll look quite young compared to them.
Here is my Ttori Elf next one of my Delfs. She is so little next to the bigger doll!

 

I keep my sds and msds seperate so my ages work out better. It's weird for me to have a 23 year old delf and a 17 year old kid delf with such a height difference lol!!

As promised, here's Aelic new outfit! I'm so happy~ The clothes fit great, even the little glasses! Not the best pictures though, and he wasn't wearing his new shoes in these. Hopefully I'll be able to get some good ones in decent light tomorrow.

I'm so happy that she poses just as well as my Cherry. Seems like Luts' good stringing is pretty consistent

Now I just need to wait on the body for my 2015 Event head..

And try not to order any of the other two on my wishlist for at least a little while.. :P

 

@manabusama This is Cheshire he is a Luts 2014 Summer event head. He is on a Leekeworld A-Art Body with a Fairyland Sia flat bust. He is my short, chubby, transgender kid.

So, I received an MYOU doll in the mail, as I had planned to write up a posing review on her and then either hybrid or seller her..

As it turns out, these bodies (in NS, I think) match fairly decently with Luts heads. It's a little more yellow, but I honestly don't find it noticable under most lighting.

So, I guess my Summer 2015 head finally has a body. ^_^

While I'm here, here's some Aelic! I have such a hard time with him getting washed out in sunlight, even indirect sunlight, but I'm guessing that's more my camera than him. And he's cute anyway!

Oh wow. I wasn't expecting Darae's eyes to be quite so big I think Luts needs to refresh some of their sale photos. xD

I hadn't really thought about it, but looking now it does seem like Aelic's eyes look bigger than the company photos... I think it's probably mostly the company faceup, with the dark liner on the upper lid. Plus Aelic's eyebrows are higher and more arched than the company photos, because I wanted the cute, big-eyed, innocent face look for him. It's perfect for that teeny little smile!

 

I think he's great the way you styled him, for sure. He really recommends the Darae sculpt, I think.

I really want my first Luts boy to be a Muhwa.. he looks so sad that I feel like I just have to take one home and make him happy. xD

I really love the the Romance version of Yul, especially with the elf ears. I actually prefer him without the centaur body, but I missed the order window of course. I'll get one eventually, hopefully~

The MSD size in general are very addictive. Just yesterday I added more MSDs to my wishlist

 

Eek! I'm so excited! I just bought a tan jamong second-hand. Back when I was buying my first bjd (a kid delf berry) I was torn between her and Jamong. I always wanted both someday, so she is sort of a grail for me! Plus she's the event version with elf ears I can't wait for her to arrive.

Shes the event version so she's on the multibody. I've seen in this thread that people weren't as impressed with the leg system though?

 

Congrats! Jamong is way cuter than I expected. I decided to get her on the steel hearts body and have no regret. I wish Iw ould have gotten the brown skin, but wasn't sure how I'd like it with the robot parts. So mine is normal...
Be sure to share lots of pictures! We don't have too many Jamongs in here.

Last I knew you could post a doll in both the company thread that the head came from and in the thread that the body came from.
I personally would love to see hybrids using the KDF bodies.

She was kind of a spur of the moment purchase, so she doesn't have anything (except lots of attitude lol). It was kind of a bummer, she broke her thumb, but I have it so it should be easy to glue. nbd. She was really well packed so idk what happened *shrugs*

Hehe And your Jamong is soooo super cute I swear, every time I see more owner photos of a different KDF, I love them even more.. I have to stop myself before I end up with buying all of them and living on ramen for the next 5 years.

 

Wanted to share my girl. Hollis just got her head back from AngelToast for her first faceup. I'll take better pictures soon. She needs her bangs trimmed so I'm working up the courage to do that soon.

 

Everyone's kids are so cute! I really need to take some more decent pictures of Aelic...keeping Ilya's headless body company is not a very glamorous job. I really reeeaaally wanna spoil him with some more clothes and stuff, but Ilya doesn't even have the right wig or eyes or any clothes at all so...he takes precedent. But KDFs are so fun to shop for!

Oh wow, I love his outfit! The black and white goes really well with that minimalist faceup, and the hair pops so well! Does he have a name? And ug, yes! Why do KDFs look so good in everything? Aelic is supposed to be my "jeans and t-shirts" kid, but I kind of want to get him some frilly prince outfits and stuff...

 

It's actually purple (hat & coat) and green-gold (vest) but with the bad light i guess i loiks that way ;9

He doesnt have a name yet unfortunatly. We are working on that (or trying anyway).

Make him an actor ;9 then you got a "reason" to dress him up

 

Oh! Whoops. It may also be my monitor settings. Electronics are weird. But the outfit is adorable either way! And names are hard, they give me trouble all the time. I'm sure one will stand out eventually!

If Aelic didn't already have a character and stuff, I'd totally make him something that I could put in anything. Well, I mean...I really could put him in anything now, even if it didn't fit his character. Maybe he likes cosplaying or something.

I usually don't have name-troubles but he was not planned, but I knew I had to get him while he was avaible, so... Yeah :3
Also his outfit and styling is based on 'Hom' from Atelier Meruru (video game), since I adore him so much. I hope to be able to do his younger version with a different doll from Atelier Rorona as well -^^-

My sisters 4 joined mine for dress up fun. We pounded out all but 2 of the outfits the last 2 evenings after we worked XD

I on the other hand was in the mood for something entierly different today.
Ever had a moment where you realize just how long you had a doll and how much the doll changed from when you first laid your eyes on it?

I've had my Luts Almond for 5 years in January - almost as long as he was released. From the very start I knew exactly who he was to represent. He even got to keep his mold name as his 'doll name' and there's actually a little story to it, but... not the topic right now.

So anyhow, I decided to share a picture line-up of him. Also to show just how much your own 'personal touch' can change a doll and / or make it look entirely different and 'your own'.

This is my KDF Darae. I've had her for about six weeks, but haven't had much time to do anything. I've ordered her some more clothes off Etsy, this hobby is not a cheap one.

BJDs make such fantastic models, they are very patient

Anyway I've just been playing around with my camera gear, and this is my attempt at a low key photo.

 

She is so lovely, and the photo you've taken really captures her striking eyes and the details in her outfit!
