Luts Honey Delf Discussion part 4

I am not a small doll person, I have two Yo-SD sized dolls, one MSD I don't touch and now her. All of my dolls are SD - 75cm.

I got my Madeline x Blume in the mail today and omg:

She was so sweet and I had to be so gentle and I nearly teared up with how sweet she is. I want more now lol. Her body is strung SO freaking tightly though that she is kind of a pain to handle, but otherwise I adore her. The Blume wig is something else too. It's perfectly styled and every fiber is in place and so so so soft. I can't seem to connect to their website though (does anyone have it)?

Anyway, she is so sweet and her expression is a heart melter. Just wanted to show everyone ^_^

 

She's precious, @Littlebirdzoom. Her faceup is fantastic - much better than I expected. I've always found LUTS faceups to be a bit on the basic side, but this one looks like it has just the right amount of expression.

On that note, after spending the past couple of weeks ogling at the new special resin release, I've finally ordered a HDF Ani in "Strawberry Pink." I did get her with a company faceup, as well. I'm looking forward to posting her here!

 

Hi! I am happy to join the Honey Delf forum! Here is my new girl, Sayo! She's an ANI on the Honey Delf Body Type 3 (Multi Body). I ordered her on the fullset~ The outfit is gorgeous!

 

I changed Sayo's eye color~ As much as I liked the gold, I was looking for a cooler color. So, here she is again!

Sayo is too cute, @Shougi. I bought that outfit off of Taobao for my husband and the fabric pattern is awesome. I've got a matching one for my dolls, too.

Now I'm getting impatient waiting for my Strawberry Pink Ani to ship. It's been about a month and a half, so hopefully she comes home soon.

Hello! As cute as my Sayo was, I felt like her face wasn't exactly what I was looking for in terms of a girl, so I decided to turn her into a boy. I initially planned on getting HDF Ani as a boy, but changed my mind at the last minute, so it all works~ I just need to get some boy clothes now.

Thank you! I know~ He looked cute as a girl... But I felt like (especially, in person) the face seemed to not fit the image I was looking for in a girl, but more of what I was looking for in a boy--if that makes sense. But, don't worry! I plan on making my Sayo again. She'll have the same outfit (kimono) and hair (maybe) that she had, but she'll have a different mold. I'm considering a Honey31 Delf YEONDU!

@Shougi He's a precious BB! How do you find clothing sizes and accessories?

 

His clothing is from LUTS and the camera is from Dollmore. He is on the Honey Delf Body Type 3 (Multi Body), so HONEY (26cm) size clothing fits him perfectly. I haven't tried clothing from other places, so I'm not sure how they fit, but I believe they would fit fine.

I'm waffling over getting a new 1/6th boy or girl and it's currently a toss up between a Fairyland Littlefee or a Honey Delf. Is there anyone who owns both and can give me some advice?

I'd love some feedback on the type 5 body as well if anyone here owns one. I can't find any proper reviews anywhere.

The wait is bugging me...I got a Bory in the creamy orange with a minty wig, so he's going to be a creamcicle fairy when he arrives in the distant lonely future.

 

@A Wee Tiefling Oh, I can't wait to see him; I'm sure he'll look gorgeous! Unfortunately, I missed out on the colors... I hope LUTS releases those special colors again... I definitely want a Kid Delf in lavender or bubble mint!

Have you purchased wings for him yet? LUTS has some clip-on wings under Etc. Accessories that fit HDF. They are cute and affordable.

I just ordered the two LE Honey31 Delf Madeleine Elves through BJDivas, one in Bubble Mint and the other in Lavender. I was trying not order anymore dolls for awhile but those event resin colors sucked me in. They’ll be my first non-human colored dolls.

 

I'm about to order the girl in purple as soon as I can figure out if they offer the outfit. I'm really excited about owning a Honey Delf in a special skin tone! She's going to be so cool

 

There is a separate thread for the honey31s if anyone's interested. /threads/luts-honey31-delf.796818/page-3#post-12785692 It's been pretty dead lately. I'd love to see some fantasy colored hdf31's. I'm glad I'm not too tempted by the elf Madeleine. I'm already going to be spending too much money during the event.

@A Wee Tiefling have you checked your order status recently? It seems like a really long wait time especially since it seems like everyone else got their dolls from the last event. I know somewhere on their faq it says there can be an issue with PayPal where they don't get a full list of everyone who paid so they might accidentally cancel some orders if you pay with PayPal.

@Cinnamon Crystal I just ordered a Honey31 yesterday (I fell in love with Darae as a H31, but after her limited release, and last week realized she was actually available as an option to order!), when she gets here I'll post her over there for sure

 

@Cinnamon Crystal thank you for sharing that thread! I had looked back a couple of pages and didn’t see anything, so I posted here. I’ll share pics of my girls there when they come in.

 

I just asked Luts if they were going to sell the outfit with the new Honey Delf and they aren't. I'm incredibly disappointed and honestly a little angry. Why would you advertise something that nice, as a set for the theme of the doll, and not sell it? That is VERY unlike them to do. They have been doing a lot of different/strange things lately and I'm hoping this won't become normal.

 

I know this isn’t specifically Honey Delf, but i was really annoyed that the outfits that go with the Summer limited Kid Delfs (Kale and Aengdu) are sold out. Why isn’t that a set? How can you be sold out of preorder products? And if you know that you can only make X number of outfits in the production time, then maybe limit the Limited sets to X number of sets? Or push the delivery dates back to accommodate the number of orders??

Tl,dr: i agree with your frustration. It feels kind of dishonest of Luts to advertise limited sets and beautiful outfits that don’t exist to purchase.

 

@A Wee Tiefling I should have realized that it was layaway. I hope he arrives safely. I don't know if anyone else ordered the orange skin. I think it's the only one I haven't seen pictures of.

@Littlebirdzoom on the page for her it says the outfit is a preorder. I wonder if they were planning on selling it, but couldn't get all the supplies or something. If you can sew I don't think it would be a difficult outfit to make. I've seen similar trim for sale. I haven't been following Luts for that long, but don't they generally sell the limited outfit and the limited doll separately so those who don't want the outfit don't have to buy it? That way they can sell more of the limited doll rather than just having x amount of fullset dolls that sell out quickly like Fairyland. It works out well for those who don't want the outfit, but not very well for those that do.

 

@Littlebirdzoom you're in luck! The honey 31 elf outfits showed up for sale today! lutsdoll co.,ltd. I don't know why the person toy talked to thought they weren't going to be for sale.

I asked about it yesterday and today they said it was now available! So now I am waiting for a Honey Delf Elf in brown.

 

When I had asked them, they told me (and a friend of mine) they had no plans of releasing it. There was never a page until recently for the clothing. They got flooded in their Q/A with inquires about the outfit, so they got pressured into releasing it. Yes, they normally sell things separately. I've been following Luts for a long time and this (and as Peppermintsheep said) and the previous outfit order is very un-Luts like.

 

I feel like there might be a disconnect between their Q&A person and the rest of their staff; when I asked not that long ago about Darae being added to the Honey31 options, I was told "No, it's not possible, we will not add it." Which is why I had to do a combined order recently when I discovered that the sculpt had been added after all (I happened to load up the page while working out which to order between two alternate choices), and I don't think there was any huge campaign to get that sculpt added to the options.

I'm almost sure I want to order a sweety Madeleine to go along with her before the event is over, but I'm torn about skin tone. I'm very tempted by the bubble mint for a true fantasy elf but I worry that it might be too blue for a character with an affinity for green or growing things and I haven't been able to find owner photos of human dolls in the skin tone (as opposed to centaur parts). Alternatively I'd go for the real skin peach, but again I can't find photos of any dolls in the skin tone - searching just brings back the KDF Peach mold which doesn't help.

Can anyone point me to photos or even comment on the colours? They wouldn't have to be Honey Delf, just a reference for the colour.

 

Your girl is super cute. I haven't seen any owner photos of the mermaid body before. Check out the kid delf thread. It's a few pages back. Someone got the Bory elf in that color. It is very blue, but I think if you got a green wig, green eyes and a faceup with green blushing or even maybe little leaves painted on her cheeks that it would make for a cute forest elf. I don't think anyone on here has gotten anything in the peach color. I should also note that I think someone else got a mint gray one, but there's definitely a bubble mint one in the kdf thread.

 

Gonna jump in on this discussion thread, coz there's a Honeydelf Lolly on it's way to me She'll be in real skin brown with company face-up. Her outfit is already waiting for her

 

Thanks so much for the suggestion of the KDF thread - you are right that the colour is really blue but it's also gorgeous and I think that the human facial blushing works really well on it too, so that's my decision made.

I need to take some more photos of him. I have neglected him a little since my SDF65 Wine arrived.

I also ordered a Honey31 Delf TIERA Limited, but it will be a boy on the Honey Delf Body Type 3 (Multi Body)--switching bodies with my sister's incoming Honey Delf Yeondu. Shisai will be getting a younger brother.

 

So cute :-) still waiting for mine (Lolly) might still be a month or more. What skintone is he?

Really? It's been awhile since his release. If I may ask, which skintone did you get? And, please share photos when he arrives; I would love to see yours too!

 

I ordered Lolly but i only ordered her recently together with a tinydelf (skintone event) ^_^ my honeydelf comes in real skin brown. With all the different skintones it's hard to identify what skintone was exactly used. I always go 'coffee/tan', also lots of difference but always to my liking (my cup of tea )

 

I'm sorry. I misread the post. I saw on the Honey Delf forum that you ordered a LOLLY. Congrats! The Brown Skin is so lovely! I want another one. But, the next doll I order will be a Real Skin Tan. I have been craving a darker resin tone for a while now. It's so beautiful! And, I couldn't agree more; it's very difficult to identify a skin tone through photos alone. Unfortunately, I missed out on the special skin tones again... and they are so pretty! I will definitely be looking forward to owner photos though!

Thank you all! I'm super happy with her, especially after how long it took me to find the right sculpt for the character. I love everything about this choice, and it seems to just make sense she's a Darae, since KDF Darae was a strong contender for my collection more than once.

@A Wee Tiefling, she's adorable! It's awesome to see a human sculpt in the orange, too. (I have a Zuzu in that color, it's really unique in person and I love it)

@brightberry did you order her during the summer event? I ordered through BJDivas and it’s starting to occur to me that ordering through them seems to delay the dolls quite a bit... unless they’re just not telling me when my dolls come in? Idk. I’ve always seemed to have communication issues with them.
