Luts Honey31 Delf

I ordered the Elf Madeline through BJDivas on Jun 25. I hope she arrives in September.
She'll be my third HDF31.

 

Just got my girl today! (Never even got a shipping notice on her, and I still haven't settled on a name)

 

Congrats, vicemage!! Are you going to do her faceup, or is “headed” off somewhere soon?

 

I'll be getting her into the rotation sooner or later. I've been really focused on a couple of other projects, so the dolls I'm currently working on are kind of stranded halfway through their blushing, but I'm so happy with how almost complete she is already that she might jump the queue ahead of a few others.

 

I just took the plunge and ordered the limited Fairy Forest Honey31 Delf Ani, in Realskin Peach (Obits White), with faceup, plus human leg parts....
I've been tempted by this Luts doll size for quite sometime.... I think this Ani's adorable wingnut elf ears did me in!

Meanwhile, it's probably a long wait, so please show me your HDF31 Anis.

 

She's cute. The terra cotta and rose brown skin tones look nice too.

I'm super curious about the RS Peach (Obitsu White) resin. It looks like it could be similar to Fairyland CP NS.

 

Hello, I'm about to order my first Luts dol! The Delf Ani elf Fairy Forest. She's absolutely precious, I couldn't pass her up. I couldn't decide what resin color to get her in but eventually decided on "real skin white". It's so difficult to decide on resin colors ^^; the darker colors are so nice too.

Did you order her costume and wig too?
I didn't with my Ani. Ended up ordering a couple of other Honey Delf outfits, a pair of shoes and a hairband.
Going to get her a Monique wig from EBAY, as I prefer those, and want to order several, before Monique wigs disappear from the market.

 

I did! I got everything except her eyes and human legs. I nabbed some special sparkle-y pink eyes from a pre-order somebody was doing today! What outfits did you get, out of curiosity? Also, are Luts wigs not great quality? I didn't think about that... but it'll be nice to see your more customized pictures of her, if you decide to upload any. ^^

 

Oh no... I have no issues with Luts wigs. They're very nice, and I do own some too. I just prefer Monique, because the fibers are finer, and give the wig a more realistic hair look and feel.

I realized I never shared my girl here. She's a grey skin Ani. When she arrived I chipped her faceup. I was so upset I put her back in her box and didn't look at her for a year. I really like her faceup so I may try to salvage it. If I'm not able to I'll just give her a new one. She's super cute.

I think it's worth it to try to salvage the faceup. I've saved a Volks SD16 Megu faceup that was damaged in a tornado, before the owner put the head up for sale.
Remove the eyelashes.
You use Mr. CLEAN Magic Eraser to sand down the damaged area, and do the other cheek as well for symmetry.
Re-spray the head with MSC, and re-blush the cheeks. Seal with more MSC, and reapply the eyelashes.

I'm still waiting for My Fairy Forest Ani with makeup and blushing. I'm already writing a draft for a doll profile.

The sheep legs add .5cm to the height of the doll due to the shins the hooves. I haven't seen that posted here yet.

Wah! I have a weakness for Fauns and centaurs! I'm so excited! She's the second doll I will have ever had! I already got some fabric backdrops and clothing patterns for her! The patterns need some modification though. They were intended for the icky shall-not-be-named mass-produced vinyl dolls seen at Walmart and etc. I found that the bust circ. measurement is just 1.5cm bigger than the pattern, once the piece is folded and assembled correctly. That actually surprised me. I have never seen a Honey or Honey31 in person before (as of this post). I thought they would be wider than that with their height of 31cm (~17 inches).

 

Ugh... My Fairy Forest girl, Ani arrived on April 26, 2021, and I completely forgot to post a photo of her here. I've changed her hoof legs to her human legs, and she's using a pair of homemade resin eyes now...

Quick picture of my newest boy, Shae. Got him yesterday and I have to say - I'm in love with the size. I've always been partial to YoSDs but this body is perfect for a "non chibi" Yo.

How about this? Left to right, Winry is a SpiritDoll "Smart" Snowdrop, Razzy is a DollPamm "Loli" Ivi, Miri is a Luts "Honey31" Darae, and at the end is is Luc, a FairyLand "LittleFee" Piki. (And the only one without any shoes, because I have a severe shortage of shoes for that size...)

 

I replaced my Pipos Charlotte's SQ Lab body with A Honey Delf31 body and I am SUPER impressed with the delf bodies! The engineering. The resin match is amazing too! I really love the taller size, proportions and posability.

 

Pictures, please! I love the Pipos heads, but have never been a fan of their bodies.

Yes, she's the Pipos normal and Luts normal resin. Her head looks pinker than the body becasue she was blushed for the SQ Lab body, which I mistakenly got in DD normal which was way pinker than the Pipos resin. I'm just to lazy to re-do her face-up. Now, this is an old Pipos head I bought years ago, so I don't know if their normal resin has changed color recently. But I'm really happy with the body up-grade.

 

I'm 3 years too late, but may I ask if you got your Corni HDF head with the Honey31 body directly from Luts, or through another website? This is the exact body I want, but Luts doesn't have it listed in the drop down menu on the shop page, only the shorter honey bodies! She's so adorable!

 

Hi! Yes, she was direct from Luts. The 31 body is really nice, it's a good poser like most of Luts bodies are. The only difficulty is there isn't a lot of pre-made clothing for 30cm range bodies, clothes for 26cm bodies can be a bit short so you have to look for longer length stuff.
Btw, I have a zuzu 26cm body if you wanted a body comparison (I think I saw someone asking about that in a different thread...)

I'm waiting on my first resin doll/proper bjd (zuzu26 Persi romance), but I basically knew off the bat that I wanted the HDF and the KDF Corni dolls as well Maybe it's a silly question, and please excuse my noobishness- but did you order the body and the head separately? I was right about to try to message Luts in the FAQ to ask if I could order the Corni honey head with the honey31 body, but then I saw your post! I feel like a total noob, but basically I can't figure out how to order the honey31 body since it's not in the corni drop down I just love the hip to chest ratio and the long legs! If you have time and it isn't too annoying, I would absolutely love to see a comparison with the Zuzu26 body!

 

Ah yes, that's jogged my memory! I think I got the honey corni head in the Luts special 'can order a head without body' anniversary event they ran back in 2018 and bought the 31 body and combined them. I've checked the website too and can't see a option for getting the Corni head on the 31 body so I think I must have done it that way

It might be worth asking Luts if you could offer the honey corni/ lio heads with the 31 body. The worse that can happen is that they say no. But if they know people are interested in the combination then it might inspire them to add it as an option

Just found this post, and agree it is incredibly helpful! I've been thinking about adding some boys to my HDF girls and wasn't sure about the height difference. Now I know that they'll be very tall protective big brother types >___<
