Loongsoul Doll Waiting Room 4

Anyone else ever run into financial issues and have to cancel orders? This happened to me when I initially posted, cries in lost deposit. That said, I'm in a better place $ now so re-ordered! On layaway but excited to be back in. I did hear initially that the faceup can't be modified so I might try my first delicate adjustment haha.

Alice says my order is ready to ship, but had a bit of trouble with the zip code for some reason. Either way, that puts my order at about 6 months exactly, as far as arriving to the dealer goes. I hope she arrives to me quickly and safely! It's felt like forever waiting for her.

 

Sorry for double posting, but I just got informed that my other Loongsoul order is also with Alice, but they did Hui's faceup instead of Si's on my Moon Fairy. I specifically wanted Si over the other because I loved the pearls under the eye, but I don't know if there's anything they can do about it now. I told Alice as much so now to wait until she gets back to me...

 

Aw, what a bummer. :C Hopefully Alice can sort something out with them! It's good that she caught it.

 

I'm glad she caught it as well! She said she'd return it to LS for them to redo the faceup so I hope everything goes well this time around.

I'm making my last layaway payment on Ji Shui Bao with the swordsman full set soon
only now is it really setting in that he's going to tower over his sister, who is the tallest of my current collection Not that I am complaining, because he's supposed to be tall, but um, he might be nearing the ceiling next to his sister, so I'll have to shuffle the dollies around a little
Any stand recommendations for LS big boyes? He seems to sit well enough in the promo pictures, but I'm worried my shelf may be too narrow compared to that beautiful chair

 

I hope your Ji Shui Bao arrives safely!! I bought a heavy duty stand from Taobao (https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=693801599459) through a proxy, which I've also seen available through BJD Bhiner if you use that. I have one for both my 69cm and 58cm Loongsoul girls, and I know I've seen people use it with their 70+ guys! :] It's heavy duty/stable enough that I can do flying/floating poses with my 69cm doll. I've heard good things about Ringdoll's stand as well, though! That one supports 58~72cm dolls.

 

My Bu Zhi doll that I ordered in early June is scheduled to arrive today! I’m beyond excited - she was the second doll I ordered but because she’s shipping faster, she’ll be my first ever BJD. I’m really looking forward to seeing her in person!

 

I'm glad she's arriving early – please post pictures when she does! Now I have a glimmer of hope that the Cang Jue I ordered in July might arrive before the end of the year...

 

I caved and bought Jiao Mu Jiao before he's discontinued. I got the feeling I'd regret not buying him more than I would buying him, and the last doll I got that feeling with is one of my favorites. He's my second Loongsoul, but my first I'm buying new.

 

My cutie was delayed for a month and now it's been another month since the last ETA I was given
And that's fine, because I know wait times are more like estimates, and winter sales always slow down everything.
But since I cleared room for him on my shelf, I'm missing him so bad!!! Please come home sooooon fangy boy

I know the feeling that you describe. I bet your Jiao Mu Jiao will be competing for favorites when he arrives too Who was the other doll?

 

Elf ears. I just keep picturing him with butterfly wings and a fairy crown, and the elf ears go well with that aesthetic.
The other doll was Dikadoll Krose (Cyprian in my doll profiles), from their discontinuation at the beginning of this year. He's the largest boy I have, and the only one over 60cm so far that I haven't ever wished he were smaller. I figured if the last time I felt like this had such a wonderful outcome, I was willing to get another larger boy - especially since I already know I love the 62cm Loongsoul body.

Sorry about your delay! I've been really fortunate with most of my dolls that I bought new, but have still definitely experienced the feeling of "the date has passed and I have neither a tracking number nor a new estimate HELP"

BJDivas has a Black Dragon dragon version fullset in french black and I'm setting up the layaway for it right now. I'm freaking out because that's one of my grail dolls that I resigned myself to never getting because he'd been discontinued so long. I'm so glad I was looking at his promo art and stumbled on it!

 

I am currently waiting for my first Doll "28 Stars - Jiao Mu Jiao (Elf)" from this company and also my first SD. I am really extremely looking forward to it. It's a doll that I waited for a really long time before I could order it. I wish the boy was home by now.

I ordered it in Light Rose (imported). I originally wanted white, but in the end I changed my mind. ^^

 

Can't wait to see! I went for white, just because that's the color I got my last boy I felt this way for in, and I'm hoping for that same instant adoration.

 

Well, I'm looking forward to sending him to Face-up. I already have everything figured out and he has clothes and a wig waiting for him at home, which I will have to adjust and then make accessories. I am so excited.

 

My second Loongsoul fullset arrived yesterday and I was looking over everything and noticed some issues with the certificate of authenticity.

Is it normal to have misspelled words on the CoA? Certificate, series, and skin are misspelled. I ordered from Legenddoll, which is supposed to be an official retailer, and now I'm worried I paid $1200 for a bootleg fullset. The doll and everything look gorgeous and everything is very detailed so I really hope this isn't a bootleg.

Thank you! I'm also gonna pull the box out of storage for my Loongsoul Tao Tie and check the CoA but I also bought him from Legenddoll so now I'm a little worried.

 

I bought a body via Alice's Collections last year, and the same mispelling is on the certificate that came with it. I think it might just be a typo from LS. ^^;

 

Both my LS boys have typos on their certificates xD I think it's just something on their template.

I placed an order for Zhu Lian through Alice's collections a week ago
She will be fully blank with nothing extra from LS. Ended up choosing the 58-02 body since it looks a bit nicer to me even when it doesn't have thigh mobility joints (though those feel like a bit of a luxury with sculpts I like). Interested to see what her hands etc look like compared to my 70cm LS lady.

Super excited to get her probably sometime this summer since I have an actual plan for her look.

 

I have a question for those of you that bought directly from the company.
Some of the dolls have in-stock and a number next to it, and when you look at the page things are filled in already.
Are the things that are filled in what the in-stock supply is?
Also, if you buy from the in-stock selection do they ship it faster because it doesn't have to be made?

I have two Loongsoul dolls but one was from ACBJD and the other one from Fabric Friends, so I am wondering how their website works. I'm looking at a doll for next month.

Just updating to say he arrived today, 3/15/24 a little over 6 months from the order date

 

It's been a while since it took me a little extra time to complete payments, but I received my Xin Yue Hu Fox dude. I'll post photos over on arrivals, but happy to grow my collection!

 

I am now three months into my wait for Jiao Mu Jiao, and I am surprisingly patient about it.

 

I ordered Lunar Mansions - Leopard Ji Shui Bao through Alice Collections. I was afraid to order from the official website seeing that some people recently had problems with it.

I ordered Cang Jue back in I think Sept, and he's supposed to be shipping to me soonnnnn. I have been contenting myself in the meanwhile by staring at his official photos more, and falling in love with his cute lil' fangie ;;

Jiao Mu Jiao arrived today and he is stunning! I'll post photos later after I've got him set up, since I opened his box while at work. But I took one look at his face and knew it was absolutely the right call to get him.

 

Forgot to settle down here, but opened a layaway on a 68cm boy body through Legenddoll last month, in the french tan skin. I was told about 6 months for the order, we'll see how that goes!

 

I paid off my layaway for the 80cm body. Now to wait.

 

Well I'm back in the waiting room! I'm waiting on a Lou Jingou full set (but unpainted) and am pretty excited Ordered through Alice's Collection as per my normal.

Notice today!! Update on Lunar Mansions-Leopard Ji Shui Bao. He's been shipped!! I ordered him April 1st of this year. I am very excited!! I got the blank doll, but I did order his wig as well so I don't have to run around searching for one. Finally a new dolly to paint up and sew clothes for!

One day, somehow he shipped in a single day. I wasn't expecting him until Wednesday, imagine my surprise!!

OMG! The struggle to get his head on was real!

I was considering buying Greedy Wolf but Monster Nian really grabbed me by the throat. I hope the French real will be what I want and that I can find decent looking stuff...

 

I know the US tariffs on china is crazy right now but I could not resist Emperor Yan so I will pray that by the time it comes the tariff goes down or I will sell some of my older dolls but I really really could resist him ! The bald dragon was my last doll purchase from Loongsoul since it first release so I have been good….

 

Yay! My 7 Stars - Greedy Wolf is on his way. I am relieved as I was worried about the whole tariff situation, but it looks like everything is good. He's already made it to U.S. and everything seems to be going smoothly. *crosses fingers* & *knocks on wood*.

FedEx says by Wednesday, and I'm not believing that, because today is Wednesday and the doll is several states away. But who knows? Either way he should be here this week.

I got an email saying my LS Iori will be shipped out soon, I'm super excited! He was technically supposed to be my first doll, but I got a little too curious about the hobby, lol. It'll be so nice to see him in person!

 

I ordered two dolls from loongsoul in december but havw herd nothing from alice collection should I be worried?

 

It took me about six months to get mine, but it depends on if there was an event and how many orders they got at that time. I'd recommend emailing Alice; she's great at replying and will let you know about how long you can expect your wait to continue to be.
