I just got a tracking number this morning. My Chaos is on its way!!

Congrats to everyone who received their dolls!~

I'm still waiting, hopefully March orders will arrive within the next month or two.

 

Was just informed by DollMix that my order is ready, will likely be shipped out sometime this week!
For reference, I placed my order on the 25th of March

 

And Pharaur is home! Never got the tracking number from LoongSoul/DollMix, so it came as quite a surprise. Had text notifications telling me to pay customes fee early and thought it was a scam lmao. But all in all, he's arrived safely along with my spare body ^^

I just ordered a pair of joint hands for my LS 73cm boy. I wonder how long it take for a pair of joint hand? They told me 180+ working days but it's just too much for a hand. I'm gonna die waiting!(. Is there anyone had ordered LS joint hands before?

Ah Loongsoul, you've been a huge drain on my wallet this year, and the waiting game is real:

1. Su Huan Zhen - ordered in February, but was told by the dealer that he won't ship out until December/January 2020. I will be getting a rabbit as a gift to compensate though. Seems Loongsoul's production time for complicated collab dolls takes longer than their regular releases.

2. Goumang fullset - paid my first layaway installment in May together with the first layaway for Zhuzhao fullset, but the dealer forgot to order him, so it's likely that he will arrive later than Zhuzhao now.

3. Zhuzhao fullset - got a false alarm on his arrival last month when the dealer nearly sent @AntarelNefertili 's blank Zhuzhao to me instead.

4. Chehou Helian Rongying - ordered a partial fullset (no wig or eyes) off Taobao through a friend, a few days before his order period was set to end. I think China orders might ship faster than international ones though, since the taobao dealer told my friend production time is three months. Friend still complained about those three months though, because he has no patience for such a long wait.

5. YunZhongJun fullset - paid my first layaway installment last month, three more layaway payments to go!

Seems like a lot of dolls in one go, but in my defense I didn't own any dolls before this, so I'm probably just making up for lost time (since I've been eyeing BJDs ever since Volks came out with their Four Sisters twenty or so years ago).

 

That's the problem with BJDs, since they can take a long time to arrive the drive to buy another one can be quite compelling (speaking from experience ).
According to the waitlist, the waiting time seems to be around 5 months. I've ordered a body to go with a lonely head, I hope that a regular body takes less time than a fullset or limited doll!

 

@Haibanne tell me about it! Loongsoul just announced a King version Min Yan, and I am sorely tempted because I missed out on the Prince Min Yan fullset...

Just ordered some parts! I wonder if parts will arrive faster than a full doll, or if it will be a low priority item and take longer.

 

I think faster/same priority? I ordered heel feet and an outfit toward the middle of July and arrived to the dealer at end of Oct.

They seem to prioritize parts a lot better than Ringdoll - I'm still waiting on a heel feet that was ordered 15 months ago...

 

I bought eleven Jr, dealer said the item is in stock and could be shipped in 2 weeks but since I wanted face up its' going to be 2 months.

First loongsoul doll, eleven Jr caught my eye because he really looks like Jungkook >__<

Planning on getting Eleven if this experience goes well.

I saw his face sculpt and instantly loved it!
They told me the wait is going to be 6 months haha lets see if this is true...​

 

@NoodIes He's such a handsome boy! But I had already fallen for YouZhi, so I ordered him this past Thursday, too (and added Qiong Qi's outfit for good measure, just because it's awesome). He's also my first LS doll! We're waiting buddies by default, lol - let's see whose doll arrives first. I'm guessing yours, because yeah, extra outfit for me. Sigh. Judging by the very sparse waitlist, six months seems about right...

Hi everyone! I ordered a Loongsoul Caesar back in September just before they discontinued him - I can't wait to get him home

 

And after I said I wouldn't buy another doll until after I get my Dollshe, I saw the Qiong Qi beast version and I just had to get it... Full set too... Just sent my layaway order with BJDivas... I hope wait time won't be too long...

 

My layaway for Zhu Zhao is over so I caved and ordered a Qiong Qi beast version full set on layaway.

Hello, I ordered a blank Wolf Kui Mu Lang with SPO outfit in December and another B73-02 body with a 10.5cm neck in January. Both from Alice's Collections. What are typical wait periods? Six months?

Yes, I think it's 6 months for LoongSoul... I don't know how much time it takes for the SPO outfit but I suppose it should be less than that!
It is so hard to wait I'm just waiting for a nude body and it's already difficult

 

@Haibanne thanks for your response! These are my first Loongsouls. I'm not sure i like the aesthetics of these bodies but I hear they are amazing posers which I want. Can you tell me about why people say that? I am so curious.

Waiting seems to be my lifestyle these days. I also have ordered Dollshe dolls (haha) and he changed the resin colors for the floating heads I planned to swap, wigs that will take over a year and a half, all the clothes orders from China. I have tickets to go to China, South Korea, and Japan late spring but then there's the coronavirus. And there's the looming election. I have a health mystery, too. So nothing is definite and I wait. (Probably nothing is definite and I wait anyway, but now I'm very aware of that!)

 

They're good posers because they are strung together well, and also because they have a sort of soft ribbing in their joints so they lock into place when posing. There are a lot of good doll body review YouTube videos for Loongsoul. The proportions ARE heavily exaggerated with Loongsoul bodies, and I used to not like them but they've since grown on me.

@Mahgiep This will be my first Loongsoul body so I haven't experienced the poseability myself. I will probably go on Youtube to find a video review!

@LavenderDemoness It's true for the SD size, but I find the 42.5cm body quite mature and realistic, especially compared to other companies MSD. I really hope it will work with the head I have in mind! About the SD bodies, I would have loved them to have shorter legs! (or an option on the legs size...)

It was actually the ridiculously long legs on my 69 cm girl that I was thinking of. I love her, though. And it looks very elegant sitting down. The size GG boobs however... I'm getting a smaller bust in March.

 

I used to be so good about participating in waiting rooms, but had a bit of a dolly break for a while. Unfortunately, that did not mean my doll buying stopped!

I put my first LS doll on LW in October:
God of Cloud-Yun Zhong Jun, white skin, FullSet, faceup, B-B73-02

I thought, no more dolls! But he's so lovely... Just one last one! And I've never bought a LS before... So I put him on 6 month layaway with Alice's Collections.
THen... I saw this guy! And... so tempting! I need another doll like a hole in the head... But as usual, I was weak...

I put him on LW several weeks ago:

He's also on a 6 month layaway with AC. I added both to the Waitlist. Hopefully I didn't screw anything up while I did it. Anyway, I'm happy to be joining the Waiting Room (although sad about being a huge doll hoarder!).

 

Well @april, you sort of inadvertently guiltied me into adding my order to the waitlist. I'd pretty much trickled off of doing that over the years, but I know it's helpful to people who are trying to calculate wait times...so now there I am.

Heh--well, I totally understand about not adding to the waitlist. The Wiki editor is so confusing and it's not easy to find the waitlist to begin with (I thought there should be a tab visible... I should check that out).

I usually try and ad myself mostly to sort of keep track of when others are getting their dolls and see how far along I am... but I do such long layaways, it usually doesn't matter!

Oooh! I'm glad I'm not the only one doing 2 layaways at once. I try not to do that--but usually fail miserably! I also try harder not to do that since I'm totally unfamiliar with Loongsoul dolls... but they have been around for so long that they seem a pretty trustworthy company. I know I've admired their sculpts for years--it's such a crowded doll market these days that there was always some other doll that got my money (I started buying bjds in 2004, when there were only a few dolls available, so the amount of choice these days is just overwhelming!).

I'll look forward to see what you do with your Qiong Qi! --I'm going to be boring and just keep mine in his FS. But I bet he'll look amazing in all sorts of styles!

March approaches, and I eagerly await the arrival of my body parts (which I estimated should come in around then). I got the xxS bust piece for 69 cm girl and some heeled feet. Body parts usually ship faster, right?

Is it through BJDivas? We're waiting for LS to reply to BJDivas so they can send me an invoice for the beast version.

 

I guess LS hasn't been slowed down by the coronavirus? That's good to know. I was a bit concerned about it, since I have 2 layaways going for LS dolls.

 

I think they are backed up with New Year and Coronavirus. They have a new event up so I think they are back-ish. Hopefully I get some news about Eleven Jr since his layaway been paid off. Even though he's going to be naked for a long time lol

I ordered Azure Dragon in Cangyang which is basically a blue resin. He's a fullset without face up! Paid most of front but still have the rest on layaway! He's to die for! So I'm glad to finally join this waiting room as he will be my very first loongsoul doll!

I wonder who else ordered him if you managed to get a fullset ordered.
