Loongsoul Doll Waiting Room 4

Cang Jue arrived and his wings are so utterly massive it's insane! Too bad he has to go right in the box since I am moving soon.

 

finally joining y'all in here I ordered Wei Yue Yan - Dan, in Tan Skin, and a NY 73cm Boy Body (B-B73-03) for my floating Iman head back in March through Alice's Collections. Are LS wait times still hovering around 6 months? I'm just days away from the 4 month mark and trying to remind myself not to get antsy

 

Also jumps in here after ordering Yan Ling II fullset. I'm also curious what the wait times are! I read in the Taobao listing that YLII is expected to be 6~7 months? (If I remember right...) I've only ever ordered outfits from Loongsoul before, though.

 

It took me 8 months to get a 73cm body without head or blushing recently through Alice’s Collection.

My Bai Di (White Dragon Emperor version) has shipped from Clover!! I....am not ready That was way, way faster than I expected (4 months!). I haven't even managed to get my Cang Jue finished lol

apparently my dolls have already cleared customs in LA. I got a text yesterday from DHL about delivery of a 2 box shipment on 8/4, but my order status hadn't updated on Alice's Collections yet, so I wasn't completely sure it was for my LS order. Just got a shipping notice email from Alice's this morning confirming my dolls are on their way, which is pretty exciting. Too bad they aren't getting delivered today or Friday - I actually have to go into the office on Thursdays and I don't think the Partners will accept "huge doll delivery" as a reason to stay home

 

Welp, dolls weren't delivered until almost 8pm yesterday, but they finally arrived. The TS from the super short tan event in Spring is SUPER light, like, not even really tan, but still a very pretty color

Just placed an order for Yan Lings full set even though the wait times are long I just can’t resist those beautiful full sets!

 

We need a lot of copium for the wait times. I've waited longer for figures but for our dollies its just pure torture

Also is Yan Ling's mask only available as a separate purchase via Taobao? I'm hoping to get one outside of TB but seems like no dealer has it

 

Alice's Collections has a note that the mask will be discontinued in October this year. You have to specify you want it under the special parts drop down.

I have one payment left on my Ying Zhou!! I want to start making some clothes so I have some practice and some things for when he arrives. Does anyone know which site has the most accurate measurements listed for the 73 cm version 3 body?

 

Ordered a Loongsoul Dong Jun (fullset but with standard wig) during Alice Collections' sale and now to sit and wait...

It's 9/almost 10 months since my Cang Jue tan order. I'm super excited for when my dealer tells me he's ready to ship. Hopefully it won't take a full year since I ordered the fullset. Also, I'm super happy how the tan look so far!

I finished my layaway for Ying Zhou the other day!! Does anyone know roughly what the current wait time is for a blank doll from Loongsoul? I totally didn't look into that before I started my layaway so I'll admit i'm not sure what to expect lol

 

I'm nearing my 5th month waiting for Yue Yao since ordering him in May (I'm still betting he will take longer because of the outfit). Dong Jun was ordered via taobao and the earliest ship date they said is October.

A friend ordered Yun Zhong Jun at the start of June (completely blank as he is no longer sold as a full set) via taobao and still no news on his production and shipping time. I think its safe to assume the 4-6 month waiting for a blank doll with the possibility of a longer wait

 

I bit on the Alice Collection's sale of the 8 Lunar Mansions-Fox Xin Yue Hu, although it looks like the price works out to the LS website so I suppose a cheaper stand is the bonus haha!

Can't wait for this fellow, I got the Faceup A style but asked for the forehead art to be excluded so we'll see what it looks like in the end. I wish I could get the fullset white wig, someday maybe.

I placed a side order for some clothes which will hopefully arrive first and tried to order items my Supia Heeji can wear also. She's got some suit jackets I think will work on him and maybe some pants- anyone else do shared wardrobes?

 

I did a 6 month layaway for him starting in April during one of their promotions, so I was hoping there'd be some news about a production/ shipping time this month, but if I have to wait longer I'll survive T_T

I paid my dolls in full so its really gruelling. Am I correct in understanding layaway that companies won't start production until the last payment?

 

TBH, I'm not sure. BJDivas places the order when you make your first payment, but I ordered Ying Zhou from Alice's Collections, and can't find the specifics for that anywhere (and feel a little silly asking after the fact xD). I think they might also place the order when they get the first payment, or it wouldn't make sense for the orders to qualify for special promotions, which they do- I ordered him during one of the Loongsoul promo periods.
I'll survive waiting xD It'll give me more time to work out making eyes and other things so he'll just need a faceup and wig when he gets here (assuming the body measurements listed are all correct so I can make the clothes from those instead of measuring him myself)!

 

@aki7 I believe dealers place the orders after that first payment/deposit (that has been my experience with all the dealers I've used) however layaway direct from a doll company tends to wait until it's paid in full or close to full more often than not in my experience.

Wait times this year have been pretty ok I think (I may be biased because I have had the dubious pleasure of unfortunately being caught in the Dollshe 2+ yr wait time shenanigans).The shortest wait time I've had so far from Loongsoul was my White Dragon Bai Di order this year but he was completely blank (he was PIF, through Clover Singing) at 4 months from order to receiving him in hand. My Black Dragon fullset (blank no painting, layaway through BJDIvas) was a gruelling 11 months wait last year, of which 3-4 months was actually waiting for the dealer to ship him after they received him (they told me they were extremely back logged) My Cang Jue this year was a 5 month wait through Alice's Collections (with a layaway) and I'm just over 3 months into my wait for my Ji Shui Bao leopard fullset (unpainted) through Alice's Collections. I'm hoping Ji Shui Bao will ship in November or December but since he's a fullset I'm just hoping for before the Lunar New Year closures lol.

@aki7 I couldn't resist Ji Shui Bao at all and I tried for all of 5 minutes haha. I had just started work on my Cang Jue and had thought I was done buying dolls for the year but nope Ever since getting my Black Dragon last year I have stayed in this waiting room -- Loongsoul has become a definite favorite of mine

 

My Cang Jue Tan Fullset is ready to ship. I'm waiting on the dealer to send my shipping invoice so that mean I'll get him in the next 2 weeks. I'm super excited for him to arrive.

 

Sometimes I should be taken off dealer shops. I just ran into a full set Yue Yao over at the Dolk website and I just wanna cry inwardly. Like my boy, come home already its hard coping with the wait knowing he's around and in-stock.........

Hmm I wonder if orders through Alice's collection take longer in general. Like I know buying with a dealer generally means longer shipping times bcause it gets shipped to them and then from them to you, but I mean on the production end maybe.

I just placed an order last week for the new limited edition of Miao jun. It was a hard decision because the shipping cost so much but I have to do it. He was too beautiful to pass. Now is the waiting time. I hope it doesn't take too long. Now I just gotta find more ways to make money for the debt I just created.

AC had the fantasy version fullset of Cang Jue and I just had to bite. That, and I started on a long layaway for one of the Black Dragons on Divas. These will be my first from LS. I'm guessing fantasy bodies from them aren't so much a thing anymore?

I had ordered 1/4 girl Chili about a month ago, maybe a bit longer even and totally forgot to seek out the waiting room
I think I had it in my mind that Loongsoul has a long wait time and as such I had time...
I haven't seen much if their girls but Chili looks so cute and I will then have an excuse to buy some of those fancy ancient Chinese clothes.

I ordered: Miao Jun - Shi Xu Lou Lan (Limited) / Full Set (Face-up D)
I'm really curious how he will look like in real life. But I have to wait patiently for a few more months before he is finished.
(My pre-order has been running since the end of October 2022, but I haven't written it here yet.)

I had such a hard time deciding on LS Miao Jun's new face-up versions that I have now pre-ordered the same doll with a different face-up: B. (I had already pre-ordered the LS full set with face-up version D.)
