Loongsoul Doll Waiting Room 4

I think I’ll have a long wait for the Loongsoul Dr YouZhi (73.5cm) I ordered last August via Alice’s Collections.

 

I have a very unexpected update!!!

My order has already arrived to Clover-Singing!!! So I finished his layaway off early and he should be shipped within a couple days!

I wonder how this happened?? Maybe LoongSoul just happened to have an extra one sitting around from a cancelled order or something? Regardless, I’ve certainly never had an estimated 6 month+ wait time turn out to be less than a month!

I like to have everything prepared in advance for my doll’s arrival, so I hurried on ordered his wig and am looking for clothes that suit him! Can’t believe he’ll be here before I know it!

I've just paid for the shipping for my Caesar I ordered back in 2019.
So he should be shipped within the next few days finally!
That was a very long wait but can't be helped, I'm just praying he arrives safely as he has to make the journey across the Atlantic yet!

 

Have you seen the video of him? My friend sent it to me and I swear I am playing it on a loop. So beautiful!

 

It is that darn video that pushed me over the edge to get him! He looked gorgeous in the promo pics, but they were pretty dark. When I saw him in that video though I was doomed.

I just put my first bjd on layaway. He is the black dragon and i cannot wait. He is beautiful.

 

I put my first Loongsoul on layaway yesterday! He'll be my first large BJD as well. I ordered Yu Ze on the new 73-03 body, 2-part torso, in light rose with Type A faceup and with jointed hands. I told myself to wait for an event and then the very next day, Loongsoul started their New Years discount event! I'm so excited for him!

 

I am so glad I haven’t missed the event too! I was planning to order a few weeks before. I would loose so much money. I am excited to see what other dolls they will release. I don’t know if I want them to be pretty or not.

 

To anyone who ordered a doll during the pandemic, was your wait longer than 5-6 months long? I was looking at some other peoples wait times from pre-pandemic and it was around that length. I ordered from Charmdoll, their sister company, and their wait was 2 months longer than usually thank to the pandemic and Christmas rush, so I was wondering is Loongsoul was fairing the same.

 

I know I seemed to have had a longer wait time than everyone else for some reason but I ordered at the end of September 2019, so just before the pandemic kicked off in China, and I only just got the shipping notice about a week ago from BJDivas. So I waited just over a year.

 

I ordered Xin Yue Hu-Antares through clover singing in late September, and she already has him in stock on her eBay page so hopefully he wont take that long.

 

Just paid for the customs for my Caesar. He's being delivered on Wednesday I'm so excited to finally get him home!

 

My Caesar has arrived!
After 1 year and 4 months wait! I'm very happy to have him home - he's perfect!
His body is cute and chubby!

His certificate says he was actually made back in May last year so I'm guessing he got caught up in all the Covid delays which explains the super long wait time!

On the plus side I had ordered him with the Caesar-2 Face up but was told at the time only the Caesar-1 makeup was available, which I said was fine - but he arrived with the Caesar-2 face up! So I'm overjoyed about that!

Anyway - I'm finally leaving the waiting room!
(No doubt I'll be back in the future - I'm very impressed with Loong Soul)

As well as my Big dipper-Alioth fullset A on order I have gone ahead and ordered a XuanLong Dragon - Fullset (black skin) couldn’t resist
Since I ordered extras like optional parts and painting etc I’m expecting a long wait on both still but happy

I ordered a charmdoll this month and alice's collections says around 7 months. Do you know if they have their own waiting room or do they apply to the loongsoul thread?

I placed an order for He Yi via Alice's Collection yesterday.

I'm so excited, he will be my second doll after being a single doll owner for three years. I'm totally not used to having more than one doll around me, I'm curious how things will change (or not).

 

I currently have Qing ordered! She will be my first Loong Soul doll and I'm hoping that it won't be too long of a wait. I actually had her ordered through a different dealer at the beginning of last year and they never ordered her for me, so I started my wait again at the beginning of this year with a new dealer. I purchased her in the light rose skin tone so I am really excited to see it in person!

 

I'm not sure how long their wait is running. I ordered my Loongsoul doll November 11, and she is not ready yet. I ordered the full set Yao Ji fairy with faceup and body blushing. This month will be 5 months, so I suspect they could be running a bit longer than 5 months? I'll post here when she is shipped to give an update in case that is helpful.

 

So sad - I was notified that my full set order of Yan Qi, The Swordsman, was cancelled due to the fact that they have decided not to produce him because he resembles a Chinese character too closely. I am really disappointed. I was just one more payment away from paying him off. Guess he wasn't meant to be. I'm sure something new will come out that I love.

 

Just paid the down payment for a blank Xuanlong (dragon body) in special French dark brown resin with BJDivas!! Super excited!!

 

I just confirmed my down payment for the Human Ver of Black Dragon. I had a bit of a scare when I ordered him through BJDivas 2 days before the event ended but they didn't see the order until the next week. But they contacted Loong Soul who then honored the order. I am so grateful to them! Their work looks amazing!

 

While I wait for my dragon boy to arrive my Big Dipper Alioth fullset has been dispatched hoping he’s here this coming week obsessing over the tracking

I was finally able to order Chang Qing in tan, so excited.

 

Placed a layaway for Yu Ze along with He Yi clothing to go with him. Once he gets here I can finally make my long-dreamed OC. He will be my first and likely my only BJD. Nevertheless very excited

I have slowly come to the realization that I don't have names or plans for either of the black dragons I ordered... Out of all the dolls I have, I can't think of any stories or specific poses I want them in. I'm excited for them because of how unique they are... But what do I do next? Thankfully they won't arrive until October. So I have a while to figure it out.

I have a Bai Jue (faceup, + extra hands, no body blushing) that I just finished layaway on a week or so ago. I’m excited to get him! I will be shelling him into my mdzs oc and hopefully at one point have a modern look for him to switch into as well ❤️

 

My LS 73 body is officially lost in the Shanghai Airport. Ordered in September and shipped in January. So now it can be reordered. Sigh. I hope I get the next one. Over time I have bought 5 of these bodies that I’m waiting for.

 

That is horrifying and sad... Are you having to reorder the same body 5 times now or are these separate orders for separate dolls?

I'm hoping you got shipping insurance at least! Are they refunding the cost of the additional orders?

 

I guess I wasn’t clear. The first of five bodies went missing. It will be reordered for free. I have ordered 4 more bodies since the first. Two of them should be ready to ship soon and two will be ready this summer. I already have 5 of these bodies for my floating heads. I really love them.

 

Yes! I ordered from Alice's BJD and they were super fast and friendly about issuing a refund. I was so looking forward to that doll though. But, really pleased with Alice's service.

 

Joining the waiting room I ordered the fullset Gou Mang/Mu Zheng through Alice's on layaway. He was just too lovely, with that outfit, and I got my tax return, haha. I figured it would be sometime before it was ready anyway, haha :/

Does anyone know, if a doll gets in before you finish paying off a layaway with Alice, do they let you know?

 

he's still for sale with fullest on clover singing so idk if it was an issue with just Alice collections. You'd think you'd still be able to get the blank doll as you cant copyright a face. I'd email Cristina at clover singing if you're still interested in him. IDK if he's actually still available though so I don't want to get your hopes up.

 

Okay, good I'm glad! That's where I ordered my Bai Jue, It's my go to site for ordering dolls. The process is always so smooth for me!

 

Oh dear! That is very distressing! I am so sorry to hear that!

I'm just thinking about the loss to the company too... That's both frustrating and discouraging. Those materials are not cheap! That can really affect their ability to move forward on future projects.

 

Actually the distributor, Clover Singing, is taking the loss, not the company. They valued the package very low for tariffs but I have none in the US, so she is advising her shipper to write the full value, on my suggestion, for future packages. In the last few years I have never had a package be lost before, only delayed. Luckily it was not a OOAK, just a headless body with no blushing, so I count myself lucky.

My Big Dipper Alioth fullset is here arrived yesterday I’m waiting on his wig still, it’s coming separately and I have tracking for it. Will post a more posed and nice picture when it arrives

 

Ah he looks wonderful! I actually placed an order for him not too long ago, but a basic set. May I ask how long your wait was?

 

He is lovely I ordered him in December 2020 the 8th and he was dispatched 30th of March, it took a while for him to get here and his wig tracking is still in transit lol but I blame that more on covid and airlines struggling to catch up.

Took advantage of Loongsoul's 15% off event to order myself a 62 cm boy body in normal yellow from ACBJD today! I'm going to hybrid it with my incoming BBB Apollo head (I hope, anyway!).

 

Just ordered Gou Mang/Mu Zheng fullset as well, Excited. just ordered and paid tonight. took advanage of the last night of hte alice collections 15% off event.

 

I've had Qing on layaway for a few months now and I will be sending in my last payment for her shortly. I'm hoping it's not much of a longer wait!

 

My first Loong Soul doll arrived today - Fairy Yao Ji fullset in light rose skin tone. I ordered her on November 11, 2020 and received her today, May 29, 2021.
