Loongsoul Doll Waiting Room 4

I paid off one of my LS layaways with Alice's Collection 3 to 4 weeks ago. No shipping notice, but box just arrived at door today! I'm glad the Post office didn't hold it for a signature or redelivery!!! I was worried because I usually have to go to the Post Offce to pick up my dolls--even when I'm home on delivery days. No doorbell rings this time, either, but at least they left the box!!! YAAAY! First time I've had a doll box left at my door for YEARS.

I'm waiting a few days to open it just to be absolutely safe (I'm sorta in some high risk groups for Covid-19, so I'm just being extra careful. plus it makes the opening process much more fun when I know it's all super-safe!). I'll post info and Box Opening when I do!

Was it shipped via EMS or DHL?

 

I ordered my ZhuZhao on June 1st and he still has not been shipped.

 

Yikes, eleven months seems kind of long. Have you contacted them, just to see what's going on?

I think it was FedEx. Most of my dolls arrive EMS, so that's a bit unusual.

Looks like it was shipped on April 24. Arrived May 1. (I edited the Waiting List.)

@celga -- yes, it's a happy surprise! I was worried that it would be difficult to get a doll delivered since we are shut down over here (in CA).

 

Great to hear AC is using something other than EMS. EMS is the worst right now. It seems like some sellers are stuck with EMS as the only option. Since we only sometimes receive shipping notices, I worry that sellers won't give me options and just use EMS even when there are options. There is a shipper called TNT that is actually Fedex that may be the shipping company AC used. I'm glad that with all the worried people (and worried customer messages) some companies are choosing options for us that are moving things more reliably than EMS. I have a doll and a body coming in July from AC. I feel a lot less worried to hear that they are considering options in my interest!

 

AC just wrote to me. Wolf is ready! Way earlier than July! And he was mistakenly body blushed for free. I asked for DHL or TNT for shipping.

 

got my shipping notice today about the loongsoul body I paid off mid-march! very exciting! I've been feeling pretty glum due to having so many orders ready to ship but having no shipping notices for months at this point, so I'm feeling pretty good right now

Yay! My Moon Rabbit was shipped today from Fabric & Friends! I will finally have something to replace my old icon with! I am looking forward to this cute pet!

My eleven jr arrived in mid Jan, but the wig I ordered didn't arrive until June.

here he is. Tried to get him to look like Jungkook but the wig was hard to stylize. @__@

I'm currently waiting for my LS - Yun Zhong Jun. Sadly I missed his fullset ordering period. I ordered beginning February, paid in full beginning May. Alice's Collections advised that the current wait time is 7 months. I guess I will see him in September at the earliest.

I went all out for this fellow - face up, body blush, extra hands - painted, imported French white resin... stalked Loongsoul's Chinese website and managed to snag the official outfit that they re-released for limited qty (no wig though - sad face). So now I will wait and cry with my empty wallet.

 

Waiting on a body ordered March 16th through clover-singing. His head isn't here yet but still the wait is not the fun part

I'm still waiting on Eleven Jr that was ordered in September with Bjdivas. About 10 months so far.... look like he will be a year long doll at this point lol

 

Just placed an order for Little Xiang. Her face is just so precious. Ready for a ~6 month+ wait, so I put her on a long layaway.

 

I totally love Clover Singing. I had ordered a 73cm body a week ago. Not only was it on sale for a great price, but yesterday she told me that they had a doll in stock and someone had bought the head. Did I want the body? It would ship NEXT WEEK. Of course I said yes! So amazed that she thought of me and that it is coming this soon! I have another body coming that was ordered in January but this one will arrive first. I am sooo happy!

 

lucky! @Mahgiep I recently got quoted August/September so it looks like my boy will be home in time for Halloween (he's spoopy)

 

I put a Loongsoul Fusang (Ancient) on layaway around early May I hope she gets here before Christmas. I ordered her a really cute dress too

 

I want thank this comment because I contacted Christina about loongsoul head only, and told her to keep me in mind in case any buyers who only want to buy the body, and a day later she informed me that an order became available where she can split the head and body! Now I'm just waiting on the invoice!

I was lucky that I got Goumang head only from Jeeryama. It took 1 whole month for the package to arrive, and it came without coa. I guess she must’ve given the coa to the person who bought the body. But I’m happy knowing that Loongsoul stop selling head only and I manage to get one.

 

@dds27 and @reflair I bought a body. If I get the COA with a doll's name on it, I make a copy of it to whoever has the head. But it's still in Shanghai.

Well, I got the body but there was no CoA at all! But I sure do love it!

 

My head is still waiting to be shipped.
Christina said that LS has 2 certificates, one is paper and one is metal, she's going to send the metal one with the body and the paper with the head.

 

Yes she told me too. I had no idea! I have Wolf's metal too. They have different Chinese hanzi on them so I assume they are the names of each doll.

 

Wow, I haven't visited the waiting room in a long time, and so much has happened! Congrats to everyone who has received their beautiful dolls. @april, your boy is gorgeous! I haven't heard a word about the YouZhi that I ordered in January and paid off in March, but I guess that Covid is getting in the way. Almost seven months seems like a pretty long time, even with a short layaway, but ah well, it's understandable. I sure would like to see him, though!

Edit: tWoot! Contacted Alice, who contacted LS...and they told her my boy should be ready in 20 days. A LOT longer than some people who ordered at the same time have waited, but I'm so old to this hobby and with so many dolls that my patience is nearly limitless and I don't really care. Just looking forward seeing him with both of his outfits (especially the human limited Qiong Qi ninja sorta thing).

 

I ordered a xin hue hu fullset in ws on 4 months layaway with new clover singing on 23 july 2020... I couldn’t resist his beauty haha, now to wait pregnancy length for a doll

 

That probably means I'll see a shipping notification next month, hmm....

I also ordered a fullset of a LS Xin Yue Hu just this morning through layaway lololol but through alice’s collections. I even got the additional set with the other hair, jewelry, etc. I don’t know what came over me but I just couldn’t stop thinking about the doll even though I’ve never imagined I would spend this much money on one It’s going to be my first LS Doll and also of this size (little nervous about that) but I’m hoping wait times aren’t too bad. But I just recently received my first BJD (a tiny) and the wait is totally worth it!

 

My boy is finally on his way home, so yay! Seven months isn't bad at all for a fullset guy with one extra limited outfit, but it still feels like forever. :P I'm glad that Alice's is using FedEx; even though it's been slowed by Covid, I think (hope, anyway) that it's faster than EMS, which has stalled for weeks on another doll I'm waiting for. Now...I just have to find out if I will love or hate my first experience with imported white resin. My only other white dolls are tinies, so this could turn out to be a whole lot more pale skin than I'm prepared for.

I'd update my post on the waitlist, but I can't find the stinkin' thing! If anyone can link me to it, I'd feel stupid but grateful, lol.

My 73cm guy body shipped today! Soon, hopefully in a few weeks I will own 4 of them!

 

My QiongQi outfit arrived today, 7 months wait.

My eleven Jr (doll with face up only) still haven't arrived yet, at 11 months now....

 

My boy is home, total shipping time four days, so very pleased about that! (Still waiting on a LLT doll that was shipped from China via EMS on July 27th and completely disappeared from tracking on the 29th.) Hopefully I'll have time this weekend for a box opening. I'm really looking forward to seeing the Qiong Qi limited outfit on a 75cm boy!

They shipped him by FedEx to the US, no extra charge, because all of the other shipping services out of China are so bad right now. *happy sigh* I really love Alice's. I think their customer service is top notch.

Gah, Very, very sorry about your cello...a delicate and beautiful instrument like that must be far worse to wait for than on a doll...and heaven knows the China postal employees are infamous for not showing a lot of care for packages. Hope it arrives safe and sound very soon!

 

@celga yes Alice is very good about choosing shipping options! And thank you for your concern for my cello! Hopefully it will suddenly ship. I pray that the shipper took extra care when packing it.

 

I got my Min Yan head from Clover singing and the shipping took less than 2 weeks! (too bad it was shipped to my parents house) but It came in a nice box with paper CoA.

 

Just curious: any news regarding the Qiong Qi beast version?

 

You could try emailing BJDivas. When I asked Alice's if they had a time frame for my boy, they contacted LS, who got back to them within a day...and they were spot on with the estimated shipping date.

 

I did ask them but they said there was no news and it will still be a while. @celga what did Alice's tell you?

 

@craezeee I'm still waiting on my Eleven Jr from BjDiva from Sep 2019. No estimate was given to me when I asked. Just they (Loongsoul) were delayed to the covid but I'm seeing other pre-ordered that came out after Eleven jr pre-ordered ended starting to arrive. I can only assume BJDivas shipment are delayed compared to other dealers.

 

Maybe Alice's has a better working relationship with LS, because they received an almost immediate response (or maybe BJDivas didn't actually try to contact them for you, I don't know.) LS told Alice's that he would be ready in 20 days, and he was ready in 16. Unfortunately the information I received isn't any help to you, because I didn't order the same doll that you did...although I did order Qiong Qi's outfit sized for 73cm boys along with him. All I can tell you is that my doll was ordered on January 2, and arrived on August 9. I don't honestly believe that Covid had any major impact on that, as six to seven months seems to be pretty standard for them.

When using a dealer to order from a Chinese doll company, especially, I highly recommend Alice, also located in China. They do great layaways if you need one, they are highly responsive, given a request they will actually fight with the company to get you the best deal possible (and extra resin goodies if you miss out on a monetary deal - something that I have never seen another dealer do)...and their ability to communicate with the companies in their own country can't be topped. Plus, at a time when most international shipping from China has become horrifyingly slow and undependable, they chose to send my guy by FedEx at no added cost to me. Just an unsolicited little thumbs up from a pleased customer.

 

My dealer (a shop in the EU) also said they heard nothing yet and I just had to wait. I think they don't really ask how long it will take usually?

 

I just got my 4th Loongsoul 73cm body. This is my second from Clover Singing/Christina. She stocks some Loongsoul dolls and does splits, so I have gotten both bodies really fast. I ordered this one 7/28 and it was shipped 8/11 arriving 8/24, less than one month!!

Agreed, many don't. It's a pity, because the truth is that if you order directly through a doll company and ask them about progress on the Q&A if it's taking an unusually long time, most will try to give an honest estimate. There is no reason that a dealer can't request them to do the same, but I think that the majority of them just wait until the doll arrives without checking up on progress, even if you ask them to. I don't really consider that to be 'full service'. The fact that Alice's is willing to go that extra mile with the Chinese companies (I don't know what they do regarding the Korean or Japanese ones, because I order directly from those) is what keeps me coming back to them. If I used a different dealer, I'd probably bug them to contact the company after six or seven months...but I'm annoying that way. :P

@Mahgiep Geez, after all this time, unbelievable and completely ridiculous. How much time and effort does it take to simply pick up a valuable instrument and put it on an airplane? I hope it comes home to you soon.

I just checked with Alice for my Loongsoul YunZhonJun order that I placed beginning Feb. The estimated wait time given back then and again in July was 7 months, aka September. I checked again today and was advised it will only be ready December which is 10 months. How odd... the blushed body was ready (photo was shown) since July. Just the face up head left... @_@ A head can't take that long ... can it? lol

 

I agree!!! I ordered at the end of January, so next month I'll just ask whether they can ask for an estimation then. I mean I know it takes long, so I fear that I'm really annoying asking for updates.

 

BJDivas just received a Loongsoul shipment this week. My Eleven Jr from Sep 2019 was in there so I'm excited for him to arrive soon. Hopefully he won't be lost in USPS limbo for a month like my other package.

 

Has anyone also ordered Xiang Jun's fullset in April? They said he will be finished in October, so I wonder if anyone has already received him. I'm so curious to see him
