Loongsoul 1/3 doll discussion Part 5

If anyone knows if their loongsoul boys fit small 8-9" or larger 7-8" wigs can you let me know? That's my biggest hurdle atm

 

The main pic with Lou Jingou is the wheat resin color. My Leopard Ji Shui Bao is the real skin and is the doll directly to the right in the second picture. From left to right in the second pic is French brown, wheat, real, light rose. In the third picture is french brown, wheat, real, french yellow, light rose, french white.

Ahhhh my rarely-photographed LS ZhuZhao found his way back into the camera. He really needs more love, because he poses like a CHAMP every single time. Regarding the wig sizes, I was able to make stretchy 7-8in work for ZhuZhao since he's one of the more petite, newer heads. But I haven't thought to test bigger wig sizes because his everyday wig was something I made molded on his noggin'.

does anyone out there have the LS azure dragon boy?
I am asking because I wanted to see him in reality and does he actually come with the custom stand you see in the company pictures..the water crescent behind his head and the molded water for his feet he stands on????

the loong soul boys I have had and still have are best with a stretchy cap 7/8 like monique gold syn mohair.
they have been the best fit for my boys..girls I do not know about since I dont have any

so yes, the 2 part torso body does fit on the 3 part torso dragon legs and arms.

Has anyone had issues with items being missing in their Loongsoul order before?

My guy finally came in yesterday, but despite practically turning the box inside-out, the wig wasn't there! This was a fullset, so I'm pretty sure it's meant to come with, right?..

 

If you're missing something, I'd suggest contacting the dealer you purchased him from ASAP so they can help you fix the issue!

 

I shot over a email! I'm not so sure if I will end up getting the wig given it was part of a LE thing, but I hope something can be done! Thank you!

 

It may be in a separate package still on its way. I know with my last order from Alice’s Collection for a full set LS, the wig was in a separate accompanying package.

 

The wigs always come in a separate box in a separate shipment. There should be two tracking numbers. If you manage to get the doll before the wig then you've won the Loongsoul wig roulette xD

 

Oh wow, I didn't know fullsets can come in separate parts in general, thank you both so much for the info! I was not made aware of this if this is the case, I hope to hear back from the dealer soon!

Sorry for doubleposting, but I wanted to share because I've never seen a package done this way before - it turned out it was there the whole time, but attached to a "false bottom" of the shipper box in a separate box! The dealer asked me if I had checked there and I didn't even know there was another section due to how tightly everything was taped and wrapped, thank goodness I hadn't thrown it out yet!

I got my Nian Shou! I LOVE Chinese New Years traditions, lion dances, etc so seeing one based off the origin of it was an instant buy. Putting on his outfit was a pain and took me an hour - sooooo many layers - but the end result is just gorgeous. I got the jointed nail hands as well and LS pre wires them now, so that's awesome. Didn't expect for his feet and joint hands to come with blushing either!

In the pictures he looks pretty pin-headed, which I am sensitive to in my collection (I hate the trend with my whole heart lol) but he looks totally fine. And normal. He has THE CUTEST face

I ordered the newer body for him and am honestly not the biggest fan. It's gorgeous, but it doesn't have the same Loongsoul sturdiness to it. Definitely needs a stand. But that's fine, I don't plan on playing with him very much. Going to give him a corner with some props and just admire him. There's room in the mask for some eyes and I plan on putting some Ash in Noons in there sometime.

I've loved LS since the beginning over a decade ago, but I don't get enough of them. Getting one is always a treat. He's just great. Well worth the wait and now I'm itching for another one lol!

And if anyone is curious, I ordered him before the whole "extra part" purge and he did come with them. Glad it wasn't purged from existing orders.

 

He turned out absolutely gorgeous, it's so nice to see a shot of him in-hand!

Goodness, he's (deceptively?) adorable! And the outfit is spectacular (then again, when aren't Loongsoul's outfits?). I'm starting to regret passing on this fellow, but in my defense, this is a case where the promo pictures didn't do him as much justice as they could've. The faceup on yours makes him so darn cute!

How does recent loongsoul normal yellow compare to Luts normal or mia pink?

 

@Pyoko I had a Normal Yellow Loongsoul doll made in 2024. It's very close to Volks PS Fair/Normal.
I don't have the doll any more so I can't compare it to anything I have right now, but I do have one old photo:



Volks PS Fair/Normal on the left, Lemoon Normal in the middle, Loongsoul NY on the right.

Mia Pink will be a complete mismatch: Loongsoul NY is yellow-toned while Mia Pink is distinctly pink-toned.
I'm not sure about Luts Normal as I don't own any and no one in my local meet group has any, but if it's yellow-toned, it might be a feasible match with Loongsoul NY

I hope to be ordering Rou Shou soon. But I have been eyeing their new doll. I have had or even held a Loong Soul so I am pretty excited. Even if I don't have room for more dolls. lol
