Loongsoul 1/3 doll discussion Part 3

So I sent an email into Loongsoul about my doll skin tone with her ID. Does anybody know how long it takes to get a response from the company?

 

Which ones and where do I find that information?

 

These are the limited dolls that were reissued, but it also says order period is until January 31... Though they might make exceptions if you email them about ordering past the order period.

Both Alice's Collections and Legend have a section under Loongsoul for the restocked dolls.

 

@mjtomich - might be a while, what with the lunar new year holiday. If you're going to order your hands through Alice's, maybe ask them to ask LS for you? They might be more responsive to one of their dealers

photo spam - I took pictures of Cesare last night with my 3D printed LED moon

only the pictures I took using the the white light setting ended up being useable. I suspect more ambient light from other sources will be needed for the other colors

not everyone is thrilled with the moon light, however (she's not scared, just very annoyed)

Hi there! Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but does anyone have a pair of the Loongsoul HB73-05 hands (the long nail version for 73 cm boys) they'd be willing to measure for me? I'm trying to figure out what wrist circumference they'd need for a body if I wanted to hybrid and I'm having trouble getting the measurements.

 

The wrist balls should be the same for any 73cm hand. My Helian is on the way! If no one has measurements before he arrives, I can measre his hands.

 

@nancy_schroeder_ca Thank you! I hadnt thought of that. I was so fixated on the specific ones. I'll see if I can't dig anything more up in the meantime.

 

I finally paid off the layaway on my Eleven.
Hopefully he will be done and ready to be sent to me in about a month so far i have waited about 5 months since he was ordered.

 

Helian Rongying's hand ball circumference 6.5 cm, total length 8 cm. Wrist circumference 6.8 cm. Color is imported yellow with blushing. Here is a picture! If you need more, let me know!

Just got notice that my Loong Soul 80 cm body shipped!! I bought him on Christmas day, so about a three month wait time? Not too bad, considering how long a lot of people seem to wait....

 

Congrats on the shipping notice!! That's about how long I waited for my own girl back in 2017 (ordered end of September, got shipping notice end of December)

 

I'm envious of those wait times!

@Joppi she's gorgeous! I honestly think that Chinese companies like Loongsoul produce some of the best fullsets around, and I'm glad I entered the hobby at a time when the stigma against Chinese companies has practically disappeared.

I'm expecting my Su Huan Zhen will probably arrive around June/July. If your Fairy Deer is any indication, I guess I won't need to worry about him not looking like his production photos...

I have no complains with the quality and especially not with the gorgeous faceup.
The only thing is the wig, that's not as high quality as it could be, but I was already fully expecting that based on feedback from other people.
I don't wanna mess with the elaborate styling of the hair either way, so I'm using another wig on her and saving her default one for photos.

She came out lovely. Considering there was some concern a while back about the faceup quality, it is nice to see the faceup came out great. Your photo looks like it could have been a company one.

 

@Joppi she's stunning! I almost got her too, but was sad about the new body not having the thigh mobility joints. What's your opinion so far with posing her and not having that extra swivel joint?

 

This is my first LS doll, so I don't have a point of reference for how they were before, sorry.
Thighs don't have the joint that some of my other dolls have to rotate them, but the main leg joint is super flexible and you can still easily turn the legs.

That's good to hear that they still have decent leg mobility. I love how posable LS dolls are in general and I've been tempted to get the new ones multiple times. Can't wait to see more pics of your girl!

 

I know other people have ordered a Xinlan, but I haven't found ANY pictures of her anywhere on the site. Does anyone have any owner pictures of her?

 

@LavenderDemoness I have a fullset XinLan. Is there any particular pictures you are looking for?

 

Any pictures, honestly. She's so pretty so I'm surprised I can't find more owner pictures of her. I just want to see if she's as pretty in real life as she is on the company website.

Hey there! I apologize if this is the wrong area, but about how long have you all been waiting on your Loongsoul dolls, for anybody with new orders? I ordered my girl in mid December, so I didn't know about how long we were looking at. I have an Antje on the way, ordered from Alice's , through Loongsoul. Can't wait to see her in person!

 

@Christina_Xx its roughly a 6 month wait, but I wouldnt be surprised if it takes longer because of the many recent releases they have had that sold very well.... + Chinese New Year holiday

@Christina_Xx I can tell you that she is 100% will be worth the wait, in posing, I dont think any other company is as good in posing like LoongSoul, specially the girl body because most companies choose looks over posing when it comes to their female bodies

The faceup on my FuSang came out looking a bit different, but recent pictures of LoongSoul dolls have faceups that look identical to the promotion shoots so dont worry about that if you ordered a faceup

To pass time quicker, I looked up wig and eye tutorials on youtube to make some lol

 

I had a Loongsoul Evan head once. And he was great. But I had him as a hybrid and ended up letting him go and sometimes I wish I hadn't! But I never owned a full Loongsoul before. So Antje was so on my list. She's in the imported pink, not a full package. She's on the shorter, thicker body, SD female. I thought she was going to be an Aimerai Scraps for the longest time, but after I saw the Antje, I said no, that's my Timberly. I did not order a face-up but my sister does a wonderful job for my character needs. I appreciate your help and knowledge with this company . Her wig is in, I have some clothes for her and props.

 

My Loongsoul Eleven boy finally got shipped today.

Anyone have a 69 cm charm girl with large or medium size bust? Specifically I am looking for owner photos of ChenXing, MengLi, RuoXue, or XinLan as I am deciding between those ladies. They are so glamourous looking and the bodies are gorgeous!

 

@blackdahlia I have a 69cm girl but unfortunately not one of those girl and in a small bust. Though I have to say, Loongsoul bust tend to be bigger that the name implied compared to other companies. Mine is a small but it look like a medium or large. If you want to take a look at what a small look like to get an idea of what a medium/large will be like, you can go to my unboxing thread as reference. But their 69cm girl are amazing and beautiful! Just super heavy because of the resin.

 

I don't have one of those lovely ladies either, but I have a ShenLuo (beast version) with the S bust. It's plenty big honestly, if I'd known of the XS bust I would have gone for that instead in my order...

Does anyone know if the ankle piece on the 80cm body can be removed to make it a bit shorter? It looks like the extender for the 73.5cm body.

I was also wondering if a head in regular resin would look weird with the imported resin.

 

Same! If I have known the small was big as it was, I would have gotten the XS size instead as well. Sadly I got the normal resin before LS discontinue it so I cannot order an extra bust piece

 

LS released the XS bust after I'd gotten my girl home (after a loong wait...) or I would have ordered a size down as well - busts this large can make it difficult to find clothes that fit, I can't imagine how much more difficult that is with the larger sizes

 

Actually, based on the pictures of the XS bust that I've seen, it looks really unnatural, like two semi spheres pasted to a flat chest. The small bust is large but it looks less like a botched boob job.
