Thanks Yep, the hands were free during an event DF-H were holding - I ordered through Alice's Collections. They're my favourite jointed hands out of the four pairs I own.

Has anyone ever had a Little Rebel head on a Mirodoll 66cm male body? Considering it for my Kaylar head as a temporary body in the future. Not sure about resin match for LR Yellow normal and Mirodoll as well. Thanks!

Kaylar allow a slightly bigger neck than Aleksander but both heads are almost the same size.

I think I've seen more LR heads on Mirodoll bodies but I can't find them. I don't know about the color matchs since I know that mirodoll offers many different colors.

 

Thank-you for the reply that's great! I had actually seen that indigoparaflax had that hybrid so messaged them and I also found that alvaradolls on instagram had a Kaylar head on the body and I had a chat with them too! I'll have to take a risk with the colour match but I'm sure it'll be fine!

 

I've planned putting my André to Doll Family-H 62cm body. Just hoping the color match isn't too much off. I really like the aesthetic of the body.

 

Please share pics when you do that. I have a Doll Family H body being paid off myself.

 

I hope you'll post pics when you do too - I'm trying to keep my dolls below 65cm as much as possible so I'm always interested to see which heads suit shorter bodies.

And I just ordered a Kamu. I wasn't planning on it, I was just browsing, and he was in-stock. And I'll admit, I've overlooked him - adorable as he is he doesn't have the cheekbones of some of the others. But an idea crept into my head, a character he could be, and I couldn't get him out of my head. So I decided to sleep on it. In the morning I was still thinking about him so it seemed useless to fight. I'm hoping I'll get an email through soon so I can pay the first installment. He's going to have to float for a while because, well, there's a queue. But I will probably try him on the same DF-H body that I have my Svein on.

 

I'll definitely post pics but it might take awhile since I really didn't plan to buy any new dolls at the moment and I had to borrow the money for André from my boyfriend. Might take until fall or even December when I have the money for the DF-H body. I just fell hopelessly in love with André and I had to have him since it was the last release for him. The real problems of a doll owner. To fall in love with a limited doll.

 

In that case, I may have the body before you, so I'll post pics in that case.

 

Please do I'd love to see in advance that do I have to blush to match the head to the body.

 

Oh.. By the way. Normal pink or normal yellow on the DF-H body with LR André head?

 

The Doll Family H body I'm buying is secondhand. It's in "normal pink" resin, but it has blushing and is a few years old. I bought a "normal" André head. I don't know what the match will be like, but I figure that I can blush the head to match if needed.

 

I've always just thought that there is only the pink available, but now I relized there is a yellow as well and I can't find any comparison pics.

 

My Svein head is "Normal" and didn't match the very pale pink DF-H body. However he's from 2015 so he may not be representative of current colours. There is an "after" picture earlier in this thread but here he is before he was blushed;

It was a tricky one because he seemed too yellow for a pink body but too pink for a yellow body. He seemed closest to Resinsoul Normal/Impldoll Pink which is why I chose the pink body and you can see the comparison here; Little Rebel, Doll Family H Pink, Resinsoul Normal and Impldoll Pink

This was helpful. Looks like I have some blushing to do then. The DF-H 62cm body suits the head for my purposes so well that I just can't chance it. Even if the color match is a bit off.

 

Has anyone put an André head on a girl body before?

The character I'm basing my André on is a trans guy, so I'd love to put him on a 'girl body' and modify it, but it seems André is a larger size head so I'm having trouble figuring what to do X'D I was looking at the mirodoll 70cm girl body maybe, though I'm partial to a shorter doll, but idk, if anyone can try out an André on a girl body that'd be really appreciated?!

 

I'm also awaiting for a DF-H 65 body (in normal pink) for my André so I will take photos of the body with all my dolls when I receive it.
I ordered it in late February at Alice's but I have no idea how long DFH orders take to be shipped.

I think that the color match should be ok. My current normal skin is a very pale pinkish tone.
I really hope they match because I really like that body xD

@Emma DD White Glad that helped! I'm still new at body blushing but it wasn't too hard. I did go a bit overboard with yellow and had to add some pink but I think he looks more natural that way.

 

I just received a doll family H body in yellow ns and it's a perfect match for my Seven head (2015)!

 

No worries, you very well might have asked before and I just missed it (since I tend to crawl under my rock for random swaths of time ) But to answer your question, it's DZ normal pink.

It's a great body, a very solid poser. I can get him to stand on my (memory foam) mattress and walk away without having to worry that he'll pitch forward or buckle or anything. He'll also stand for me on uneven surfaces (like the dirt of my Grands' poppy patch) and the resin match really is pretty bang on - he was hardly blushed to match at all!

Indoor lighting makes the head look a shade lighter, but it's not enough to bother me. Also, apologies for the messy faceup...it was my first. I'm hoping I do better on my Kamu :3

Another quick note is that I got the slimmer DF-H 62cm body which works for Seven but would likely be too small for larger LR heads like Andre

 

So you think this would work with André in normal pink?

That's the body I have my Svein head on - there's pictures earlier in this thread. He's a smaller head so it may not work so well with larger ones.

 

Isn't that like the biggest of the DF-H ~60cm bodies? I need him to be below 65cm.

A lot of this is personal preference though

(Kamu is really cute on my JDF body. I love the height difference with my other SDs)

 

I guess I'll have to wait and see others pics before I decide if I'll buy the 62cm or the 65cm body.

Hi all. Im a little late in the game in discovering little rebel dolls. Wish I knew about it earlier. Anyone have recommendations for the best body for a kaylar head? Thank you. It is such a long thread! Will read through this slowly lol

 

I needed to take a few heads off my larger dolls to work on so tried the Kaylar head on the bodies in case it's of interest to anyone-

Left to right-
Doll Family H 62cm V2
Myou 62cm
Dika Doll 64cm
Luts Senior65

Because the elastic is very strong on the Dika doll, the head isn't secured with the hook so the neck looks a touch long on it. The bodies are all white skin, I can confirm that Myou Normal doesn't match but Myou Pink Skin (feet) is close to the Little Rebel NS-

 

Has anyone tried their Kaylar on the Resinsoul 61cm male body? Would it be too small? Thanks!

Guys, I'm so excited about getting my André head. But when it gets here, I will have a handful of heads pending face-up -- 5th Motif Venitu, Rumpel Doll Morfeo, and then André. Too many heads, not enough money!

What face-up plans do you guys have for your LRs? Are you going to paint them yourself or send out? Any artist recommendations?

 

I had hoped for the original LR faceup, but now I have to try and make him look the same myself.

@littleraeven I think the Resinsoul 61cm will be too narrow in the shoulders - I tried it with my Kamu head:

He didn't suit the Yi body either, that one looked too big for him but he is a young looking sculpt so other LR heads may work better.

So as is probably obvious now, I got my Kamu head! He is adorable! I love the details on his lips. I'm still working on his faceup - I kept running out of sealant and then British weather ensued and I made a bit of a mess straight out the gate but if my Svein can look pretty good even with his "okay for now" faceup I'm sure Kamu can too!

 

I did it. I finally ordered the DF-H 62cm boy body ver. 3 in normal pink to my André. Just have to hope it fits, because I think that body just belongs to the André head.

 

The neck fit is perfect, no sanding required. And the range of movement is excellent

My André is shipped!

 

I have my Aleksander head (from 2016) on a Luts SDF65 body. Proportion wise the body is perfect but the body is a little on the yellow side and the head is a little on the pink side. I’m trying to decide if I can live with it or if I should try to find him a new body... In some lighting situations it’s not very noticeable but in others its really noticeable. If I do get him a new body I was thinking about a Doll Family H body in normal pink, because he matches my practice head pretty well. But argh, I really like the SDF65 proportions! I think when I first got the body it was a little pinker because the match seems worse now that it used to.

 

Hi, had anyone here had a chance to check the compatibility (size and color-vise) with the Doll Chateau adult male body A-08?

 

I got my Little Rebel Kamu a new frappzilla wig XD Her name is pixel.

 

I am considering a Dika Doll 65cm ver. 2 Girl body or a Impldoll Star 64cm Girl body for my LR Seven head.
But i don't know if the head will fit with the neck sizes.
The neck on the dika doll body is 10 cm and the neck on the impldoll body is 10,5cm. Anyone know which neck size is best with the Seven head?

 

I have my Seven on a Luts Delf Type 4 boy body, which if the Wiki article is correct has a neck circumference of 10cm, so you should be fine with that. Here’s a picture if you’d like to see what it looks like:



The head also looked pretty cute on a Volks SD16 girl body, but they have a 9.5cm neck so I can’t speak to whether it would work on a 10.5cm.
