Little Monica - Little Harmony Line Discussion

Normal MSD sized clothes (like Luts) are to loose. Tops and pants in the waist are at least. Skirts and tight tops might work. Better are slim MSD clothes. ^^ Stuff for Minifee, Unoa, etc. should fit.

yes, the skin color can match ^^ Luts is a bit more light and yellow, but it's a slight difference...

Luts’ resin is slightly lighter than LM’s but it’s not so obvious once you throw in a shoulder length wig and a collared shirt.
Note that a face-upped (therefore a bit darker) luts head fits better on LM’ body than an LM’s face-upped head does on an unblushed luts body.

So by that logic luts heads are fine on lm bodies but the lm heads on luts body would be more difficult

In my experience lm bodies also pose better so you may want to take that into consideration as well.

I think that question would be better in the Harmony line thread (you mean the SD sized ones right?) but they do match. ^^

Info regarding clothes:

I've tried shorts and a babydoll style dress on my girl. Both items are tight-fitting and made for MNF. Just wanted to let you know that those are VERY tight on a LM body. So be careful with MNF stuff. ^^

(Maybe we should make a Little Harmony clothes thread or something?)

I bought my first doll from Little Monica more than year ago. That was Irin. I think it was a very good decision. She is so beautiful. I took custom make-up.

May I ask if anyone here know, Can Bluefairy NS match a Little monica NS.
I saw a photos of Unoa next to BF and their resin look match not perfectly but quite alike.
also saw LM hybrid with Unoa which look very nice and I thought may be BF can match with LM
problem is I'm not quite sure the second photo is a NS or WS. I'm so desperate OTL

May I have some spam of your Little harmony in normal skin please.

Hello everyone! I've been stalking this thread for quite some time now, but I thought I'd introduce myself because I plan to get a Bear girl sometime in the future (hopefully soon!). At first I was very sure I wanted a Supia hybrid, and Lanilu was very helpful by giving me pictures, but I saw Bear and kind of fell in love. I was unsure of how the head would work/look on the girl body, but LM was kind enough to send me some pictures. So, if anyone wants to post some Bear spam, I would love it

As promised, here's my Bear with my Blue Fairy Jerome, both normal skin. Not an exact match, but pretty close! I tried to switch their heads, but LM uses a little o-ring instead of an S-hook and it was too large to go through the hole on the BF head. So if you want to hybrid a BF head on an LM body you'll need to replace that ring with a hook, other than that it looks like it'd work well, the neck sizes seem to match up.

Anyone taking advantage of the wig sale?
I am wondering about their wigs, if they have stretchy cap or not. 7-8" for Irin seems big. Mine can wear monique 6-7"

Eyes was made by my friend Mehi. It's flowery grove with real flowers inside the eyes. They were specific, because I asked for iris 12mm to 14mm eyes. It's urethane.

No problem. I think especially with Irin smaller iris are better than normal 14mm.

Promo/event for that head would be tempting.

I skimmed this whole thread looking at everyone's lovely photos, but would like to know what size eyes tend to look best in Irin? I'm hoping for a more mature/less childlike look overall. (I'll take feedback on wigs, too; I did see someone mention 6-7 is a better fit but I'm not sure if that was just specific brands or overall...)

 

vicemage, my Irin wears 12mm makoeyes, I think would be best in 14mm but smaller iris, if you can get some.
for wigs, she wears 6-7" monique. I have leeke too, and she can fit 6-7". Some might be tight (mine also wears wig cap), but I manage to put on no problem.

marxwyn a Doll Chateau Kid 02 Body and the match is pretty nice (proportions + skinwhise). The head is painted white for the mime-look, but I have a pre-face up shot with it and the body:



(Head is normal skin and the body is normal pink skin from 2012)

 

marxwyn, thank you! I haven't ordered a wig or eyes for her yet (and she's sort of dropped off tracking at the moment, hoping she'll surprise me by appearing tomorrow or Tuesday), so I'll keep those sizes in mind for her.

 

It took a bit longer than I expected, but my Irin, Winry, finally arrived yesterday! I'm really surprised by how hefty she is (pleasantly, but surprised), and I'm at least starting to work out the interesting elbow joint she's got. She's really a beautiful sculpt I might not have looked at, but I'm happy to have her here!

the difference between LM and mnf doesn't look much in photo, but in rl actually more noticeable

And yes, Winry's my own faceup; she came blank and WS, and has been adjusted to more of a NS color with blushing. I think the wig she's got on is a 7-8 (it's an older Monique one that's moved from doll to doll for a while); I've got a 6-7 on order for her in a less yellow shade of blonde. After that and her new eyes arrive, I may touch up or redo her faceup, or may decide it works with that wig and stick with it. I have a hard time doing final faceups without the proper wig and eyes ready.

 

I saw your box opening thread, and I thought Irin looks NS but you kept saying WS.

also, I've uploaded photo of Irin in the short on new pair of shoes, both from rRabit on my flickr.
I'm not sure what constitute as good fit/suitable for bjd doll short, since their tummy is different than human's....

 

marxwyn, the lighting in here makes photos of WS dolls look NS, too; with box openings I'm generally too lazy to pull a table over into my studio space to use the daylight lights in there. She really was stark white, though! (The blush in the newer pictures really toned her down a lot.)

I waited just under 3 months for her, but honestly, that is a very long time for LM, they put out a notice saying it was because so many people had ordered during the Christmas event.
I have 4 LM dolls and Ive never waited more than a month for them before.

I've been eyeing this thread for quite awhile now, and though I have been tempted to join in, I was kinda timid, knowing that I have no doll as for the time being. But on April 20th, I got an email from Little Monica, saying that they've shipped my boy! I'm gonna have my day off next week on the 26th, and hopefully he'll get to me by then. I know that most people would suggest 12mm eyes, but I've ordered 14mm Mako Eyes for him coz I want him to have big pupil for that adorable looks~ .

Anyway, does anyone know which company have similar skintones to Little Monica's white skin that might offer substitute hands pose?

p.s. Am I allowed to share a sneak peek on how I'm going to visualize the picture of the coming boy?
