Little Monica - Little Harmony Line Discussion

I really love the Little Harmony body, especially the figure and high heel legs! :3 Irin looks rather like a cross with Rennone and Ryuhwa, and she's lovely. I can't wait to see other sculpts from them~~

Quick question: Does anyone know what matches LM WS? I've shot them a question on their Q&A, but I thought I'll ask here anyway. I want to upgrade my KDF girl to this body; while I know Luts RSN matches LM NS I have no idea of how their WS looks like.

 

I was going to get a Dreaming Doll to make an Unoa hybrid, but ever since I saw these body pictures I switched to Little Harmony instead I ordered a full Irin for the heck of it, I want the head as a practice head anyways.

 

Hi guys, I have Dreaming Doll Airi but doesn't love the proportion as well. I was trying to make her a hybrid and that is how I came about discovering Irin as I heard the resin are of perfect match. I have fallen in love with Irin. I think Irin and Airi can be great sister as they have a similar face expression. I am into realistic sculpts so she will fit perfect for me. I am new to the hobby so I'm interested to see what your thoughts are about this girl, I see someone already purchased her. I can't wait to see actual photos and reviews.

 

I've seen LM normal resin match Volks pureskin normal quite nicely. I have to consider this body for a hybrid with a volks msd/sdc head I think.

The lack of an ankle part intrigues me, though, but I have some trouble with posing feet, so that may solve that. xD And look nicely aesthetic-wise.

Regardless, this girl is a beauty! I'm so happy they released an MSD-sized doll.

Shara; please share pictures of her when she arrives!

 

lileychristie Thank you for the help! I've seen that LM WS matches Volks WS well, so all I have to do is find out if Luts RSW matches Volks WS. XD

pinksugar They come with regular legs with ankle joints by default, and the high heel legs are an option part to add on, unless you're among the first 50 who will get it free. Just like Volks SD16/SDGr girls, when the high heel legs are on they must wear shoes with a tall enough heel to stand. If you don't like them, you could always switch them out.

pinksugar I know right! I've been dying to upgrade my SDF to a Volks SDGrG body, but they're still hard to come by. I'm waiting for them to be added to FCS. I love the unbroken line of high heel legs, they're really pretty and elegant as you said!

 

lileychristie; Yes, I see them now! This is great news for me. I really think I'd only need one pair of high-heeled legs since if I had multiples of these bodies, my girls could just share them. I think I may buy one in the future- I just love the proportions of this body and its elegant design.

rainwaltz; I know what you mean! I've been waiting for that as well, but I've been considering the LM body for my SD girls, too, since the resin match is good and I have found I actually like a single torso joint ^^; But yes! They are very pretty and elegant! I'm so glad they included them as an option here.

 

I'm gonna scoot right into this thread.

I have Irin on order. I ordered her within the first few hours they had her up! xD! I've been waiting so eagerly for LM to release this girl ever since I asked them about a MSD line earlier this year. They had said they intended to release her last year but got caught up and couldn't do it till this year.

I'm not 100$ in love with how chubby her hands are, but I love the shape of her body. She's so lady like and everything looks so smooth. I'm really looking forward to seeing this body in person.
I also ordered the white skin which I adore, it's really "papery" white compared to my other whiteskins which are from FL that have more of an ivory tone to them. That's how my Honey Harmony Lucille was anyways. :3

 

alogue I am so glad to hear that! I have Sooms (and Soom CW matches FL BW) which are definitely ivory compared to my WS Luts KDF, so there's a good chance of the resin matching. :> Whee~~

 

finally a discussion thread.
the little harmony body looks similar to their harmony line, so do you guys think their posing range will be about the same? I found a thread about torso movement for the harmony body and quite like it.

 

The body looks like it's got a pretty good range of motion. If you all would like when I get my girl I can do some posing comparisons with my minifees for you

 

LittleMonica is my favorite company. Irin is not exactly my cup of tea, but I know I'll end up with a mini from LM someday. I'm hoping for a little one simliar to Chloe

The new body is very pretty and elegant! I just wrote and asked them if they would consider creating a flat-chested upper torso as an option. If they did, I think this body would be almost perfect for my 12-year old JID girls. I am looking for a new body for them.

 

I've tried for the past few days, I even tried a different browser.
It goes straight to problem loading page, lol.
I clicked on their official link on here, on google, twitter, even the links provided in this thread...nothing.
Not sure why.

I will! It's good to know about LM matching Volks, because my Unoa is from a batch that is just as creamy as my Volks girl. If minimal blushing would be needed, it'd be perfect!

Congrats on your order! The hands had me worried too for a moment as well, but they look to be porpotionally chubby to my Unoa's hands. I hope they'd release optional hands in the future, I love fist hands... Do LM have option hands for their bigger dolls?

This body flat chested would be even more perfect ;__; It's just my cup of tea (I hate sewing for breasted girls...)!

For Little Harmony, we do not use DD's factory.
Now, we only use their factory for our Harmony Line dolls.
We produce our Little Harmony and Honey Harmony lines from other factory.
So the skin color may have a little difference.
Please consider this when you compare the skin colors. ^^

I got my reply back from LH about a flat-chested breast piece and I'm afraid they told me they have no plans to make one.

Perhaps if they got a lot of requests for it, they might consider it?

I currently have two Unoa faceplates, one of them is supposed to be big breasted and the other one completely flat. I'm still not sure which one I'll put on the LM body, probably I'll decide just when the body arrives..

I suppose tan LM dolls are also out of the question? I'm in a market looking for a cute tan slim mini and I've always liked LM's bigger sculpts. Irin wasn't really must-get-cute for me, but we'll see what she looks like when she gets here.

I ordered through a dealer and they sent the order at the end of April to LM so I'm still going to wait for a bit I'll go see that review though!

I also was one of the first 50 to order Irin, and yet no update for the order.

She will be my first doll, I actually was surprised when I found out I bought one of the firsts. I've been looking around at dolls for so long, she just seemed perfect and stood out so much. ^^ I guess it was impulsive, but I don't regret it at all. She's so stunning!
I will definitely show pictures after I receive her! I bought her some pretty jointed hands as well. (:

EDIT: Ah! I just checked again 3 hours later, and I was updated on my status of progress, and my doll was shipped today!
I am so excited!

And Shara, you're getting the free heel leg parts right? I'm not sure how a dealer works, but it would be a ... pity (?) if you miss on a pair (regardless you need or not)

Marxwyn, I will be recieving my jointed hands roughly around mid-June, so there will be a wait for the pictures of her with them. When I do receive them, I will definitely update and show lovely new pictures! I got Dikadolls jointed hands, I really hope the skin tone matches! I wouldn't really mind if they were a tad different though. Either way, I need them, so I'm happy!

I don't really know whether I'll get the high heels or not. I'll think of it as a surprise if they're there So i'm not really expecting them.

I managed to get her high heel legs on, but they are rather heavy, and weigh her legs down.
So I will revert to her normal legs from now on.

LileyChristie, I probably have to string her tighter! It was my first try, I wasn't very good at it!

I wrote a review for them! They definitely need it! (: I'm so happy with my buy! She's perfect!
Once I get more outfits, I'll be posting more of her! I just don't know where to look for clothes!

 

Thank you all so much for your nice comments~ Last night I wasn't really bonding with her face as much, so I did a little it of modding. I'll have to see if I can snap a picture of her in a bit.

If anyone wants to see her with any of my boy sculpts I'd be happy to do some comparisons. I have a DZ Boy, Bluefairy boy, Unoa Boy, a souldoll boy on the old body and a souldoll boy on the N.L body as well.

Just let me know and I don't mind snapping a few shots for anyone

Here is a picture of the mod work I started last night



There is still a little bit of fine sanding I need to do for her, but overall I am much happier with her now then originally. Her character is supposed to be a lot more harsh, and the default look of her was a little too sweet then what I was initially going for. :3

 

did you mod the lips too? she looks great now, look more "tough"

 

Thank you! Yes, I modded her lips and her nose. Her lips gave me a bit of a challenge since her upper lip isn't very defined. I had tried to make them more shaped but it didn't really want to work for me >< I like the result overall though, I needed her to look a little more smirky and "naughty"

 

I'm having issues finding appropriately sized HEELED shoes for this girl. Her arch is just so high, a lot of the heeled shoes I had for my MNF girls wont work for her at all.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Little Monica doesn't appear to have any on their website yet and I'd like for my girl to wear these feet.
