Saw the pictures of the new Irin head! It's definitely interesting, but I'm pretty satisfied with the girl I have hehe. I really enjoy the tights for the outfit though, they're really neat! PLUS! I read on the site that the heels they're using are the Blue Fairy heels! So it's definitely good to know that they will fit the heel feet! Looks like I have saving up to do so I can order some heels

aw the gloomy Irin is only 8 set limited? thought they'll sell head and/or the outfit separately, I guess I'll pass. dark makeup is not my taste either ^^

I really hope they're planning to release some more outfits soon. Maybe something a little bit more casual? That would be ideal. As much as I enjoy the cutesy girly outfits, that's not really my girl's style @~@ I'd like to see more clothing options for this new size that veer away from baby doll and get closer to a more mature style of clothing. Here's to hoping! lol~

In the end I gave my Irin head a face-up. I was going for girly boy but ended up with a boyish girl

Marxwyn, I have not recieved the jointed hands yet! I'm excited to see if it works or not with her! If not, I have my Minifee, and Kid delf to try it on. (I know they fit Minifee, so that's a relief!)

TrinityInRainbows, gotcha. I know it's slight too big for minifee, the wrist connector. There some comparison pic. I'll post link to it, but I can't seem to find that thread now.

Thanks Liley! Her eyes were a pleasure to blush. The eyecrease was just in the right position. She can look a bit grumpy, yes, but not as grumpy as I had hoped she would.. Now I'd like to see if someone can pull off a happy face on her If nothing else, I might try it myself at some point

 

I am currently collecting materials to do face-ups, and I will be practicing for quite some time.
Hell, I make art professionally, I think I might get the hang of it.
If I do succeed, I do plan on doing a new faceup for my Freya. I want a more happier look to her.

I never thought I would join here (very soon). But fate wanted me to. I won an Irin head in the last event. *so happy ;W;* Of course I had to get this beautiful girl a face-up and body too (darn you LM, I wanted to be abstinent from bying dolls for long while! X'D).

Anyway, how do eyes fit her? Does anyone know if high domes work?

Yes, I'm getting her a LM body. Though I'd rather have one with double-jointed knees I'm just too lazy to look for hybrid options. XD Too much trouble and I do like the look of LM body. ^^

 

I wouldn't put very high domes on Irin. These 14mm glass eyes aren't too high, but you can still see a bit of a gap in the right corner there. Still, they fit pretty well

My purple high domes weren't very compatible with her! There was a gap, and you don't have much leeway with what direction you want them to point! Just kind of... Forward... x.x

She's so pretty Lanilu! I actually have been using fur wigs with my Irin lately as well!
I have been having no problem finding shoes. I just make sure they are the correct sizing, and don't need heel feet. (For her regular feet). I've been geting my shoes from Crobidoll.

 

Lanilu: so pretty. lovely outfit, and I like the skirt too.

I think Irin's feet is a bit wider compare to other similar 5.5cm length foot. She's 2.5cm width. Shoes I got for my minifee too large, but won't fit Irin, and those are labeled msd shoes, not specific just for minifee.

Trinity, which of the Crobidoll you got? I click the black shoes with ribbon, the width is only 2.3cm (unless their measurement is inaccurate).

It seems wig and shoes arrived but I wasn't at home so I had to get them from the post office. Just that there wasn't anthing there as it was supposed to be. Wth did that stupid postman do with my stuff?! >:C (Luckily it wasn't a doll or he'd be dead already XD)

 

Marxwyn, I got the black heels from Crobidoll, and they fit just right! ^ ^
I wish the ribbon wasn't a sticker though. . . She can stand right up in them though!

I'm not so keen on Irin's open mouth, but I bought her anyway since I can't wait to get my hand on LH's body. So I'll definitely buying at least one more LH if there's a head that I like

I'm still trying to take one decent photo of my Irin. I just finished her skirt, so she is fully clothed for photos ^^

 

I am currently awaiting an entire look change for my Irin.
I'm trying to get her to match an OC of mine that I draw often, just as I made one of my Minifee's matching an OC of mine. I'm just awaiting.

Top: I think it's from Miyaki BJD, bit too big for her
skirt: by me
imho, she's quite top heavy, thus some bending poses just not possible without her toppling over. Her elbow (double) joint a bit hard to work with long sleeve. lastly, my guess is with a bit of sueding, her arm/leg range will widen (hold better).
I love her torso movement the most

I've also taken some sitting poses, though not much.
