I got my first Little Monica girl in the mail a few days ago, and did her faceup yesterday. I’m in love with her skin tone and the feel of her resin.

 

@dxgirly Ooo, I love that colour combo for the hair and eyes...I was thinking of getting a similar looking girl.

Yeah it’s pretty spot on. It’s a bright coral in real life, as well.

Got two more Little Monica girls, and I did their faceups last night.

Lariat on the left, and Little Sarubia on the right.

 

Does anyone have pic of Little Harmony head (if is Little Haazel that would be so grateful) on Luts Model Delf muscular body?
I wonder would the head be too small on Model Delf body.
I love Luts muscular body but I think their heads are too small for that strong body. So wanna find some bigger head to hybrid on Luts body. Thank you so much!

 

Oh~ I'm planning (would love) for a haazel on mdf body too.
I don't think it would be too small, isn't Little Harmony head is more common size? Not the smaller side like recent mature minis...
I have Irin and if hers and haazel's head size is similar, I can try put it on my male mdf body, but mine is the old non-muscular (type 2) one, if you'd like.

 

Yes, please! At least I can have some idea to see how he looks like on mdf body.
I also wonder does he need to be modified to fit Luts body and are the resin colors of Luts and Little Monica match.

 

@722lavender here you go. sorry skin tone is different, but I did post on my insta (the normal comparison, although my LM is 2012 and my mdf is nov 2017.

Does anyone know what the resin match is like between LM and Fairyland at the moment? I'm considering a LM boy body with a MNF head but have no idea if it would look good!

 

@Lunameth not a good match, LM is a yellow normal, while Fairyland is a pink normal. That hybrid has been done the other way round with blushing though!

 

Oh that's a shame, it's such a lovely looking body!

 

@marxwyn That's a very interesting hybrid! I think Haazel or Demetri would look very good on an MDF body (or the new KDF 45)
@722lavender So I have a couple of Luts dolls and an LM and it really depends on the resin batch and so on. My LM matches my yellowed Luts better than a fresh, pinky new Luts. I can try getting pics for you to see.

@722lavender Welp, this worked out waaaay better than I thought! LM Jeremy on the classic KDF boy body, and KDF Bory on the LM Little Harmony body! The resin match is super close, but Bory is over ten years and Jeremy is less than four.

I'm going to have to read through the thread, but is anyone ordering either of the limited vampire heads?

 

I don't really enjoy vamp head or with fangs so it'll be a pass for me. unless a different faceup can hide the sculpted fang.

 

I ordered the limited vampire Enrill with a girl body -- I've always been in love with Enrill, and this time turned out perfect to indulge my two "what if" hybrid ideas of the gloomy/vampire Enrill and their msd girl body.

 

I ordered both the heads
If they fit the spiritdoll smart line body I have then they're going to be hybrids if not I'll just get them LM bodies next year

She still needs a name and a face up but I just couldn't resist taking photos of her already .

I ordered vampire Sophia head in white skin and it's a lot pinker than expected, and smaller. It's similar to the size to Souldolls.

 

Ooh, that's good to know! I'm looking for a small sized body for a pinkish white head and was wondering if LM white might work.

 

I finished the faceup on my Enrill, and swapped him onto a Dollzone body. The LM girl body I got with him went to my minifee Soony, and I really love the result!

My vampire Enrill just arrived recently as well! He came with the company face up and I think it's very beautiful, but I might want something lighter in the long run.

 

He looks gorgeous .

Ahhh now I can't wait for my own vampire little Enrill to be back from her faceup.

 

@ThatiRosen I don't have either the sculpt or the body but looking online the Hot! Body is at least 1.5cm larger around the largest point than either the regular or the eco body. I think that is a significant shift for a doll and the LM body is a slim mini/mature mini styled body.

 

Has anyone here gotten the echo body? I am tempted to get it later this year (for a hybrid). I am curious to know how well it poses.

The Little Harmony girl body as well as the Harmony girl body are pretty but not the greatest posers. I still love my girls though .

 

Sorry for the double post but I can't resist posting my beautiful vampire little Enrill. I just got her back from theugliestwife on IG who did an incredible job on her faceup. She is so gorgeous. I am soooo happy .

I’d also love to see a comparison between the girl body and the echo girl body. In your experience, which are the easiest to clothe?

 

I’m still wondering about the eco body. Has anyone received one yet? How well do they pose? Their measurements seem very close to a minifee. Can they share clothes with minifees/slim MSDs?

 

Anyone is planning to order the cocoa cream skin? I asked LM about it and here is their answer:

“If yellow dust comes with a slightly grayed skin, we are not sure, but it can turn green.

It is a skin that has a lot of red light rather than yellow light, so it is expected that the red light will gradually disappear and maintain the gray tone as yellow dust comes.

But keep in mind that rust can come at any time.”

I don’t really understand their answer. Yellow dust means yellowing with age? So the skin will fade to more gray or green later on?

 

I intend to place an order for a cocoa cream skin doll and parts. As I was really impressed with their last event skin I was just going to order blindly.

Hmm to me this sounds like a machine translated text. I think it's a general warning against yellowing/greening.

It's just a guess but I think dust is a misstranlation of particles.

 

Yeah, red pigments fade faster so theyre saying the color will become less red over time, so it will seem less vibrant and can have gray or green hues. Its a common problem with older tan dolls (Lookin at you Iplehouse >.>), so I think its pretty standard to announce it.

EDIT: I just put a cocoa little Roselyn on layaway Ive been out of the LM game for a while but they always pull me back in.

@laquaza , I actually got the hot! body, because I really love one piece torsos lol. I'm interested in seeing photos of the echo body as people receive it, but I don't pose my dolls too much so the single joints aren't a problem for me.

Do itt, Roselyn is so pretty Its so great that theyre redoing a lot of their big sculpts as MSD. Im really hoping they do Chloe at some point too.

 

I might be the opposite . But I guess I'll know for sure this fall when I receive my first single torso body.
The single torso was the main reason I didn't get my Roselyn:Symphony on the Grace body.

I am still quite the newbie so I might be overestimating that torso joint. A friend of mine who's an amazing doll photographer said it doesn't matter that much.

 

I have a Charlotte on pre-order in their cocoa cream resin. I looked around and couldn't find owner pics of her either. I'll post her here when she arrives!

On that note, does anyone know how long Little Monica's wait usually is?

They are quite fast. I've ordered twice and the first order (blank doll in WS) took 1(!) month to ship while the second order (blank doll in their event skin + some parts) took three months.
I am curious about my newest order because it's the biggest and most complicated one yet.

 

@Anglerfishee even right now, they're quick. My last order (and actually my first direct, my other LM doll came via other, more interesting circumstances!) was made December 4, and shipped January 18.

Depending on how you paid for your order, full or layaway. My 1st order was layaway for 3 months and they shipped the doll on 4th month like they said on their website. And my doll came with make up (Giselle vampire) so that’s on time.

 

I’m not so lucky with the month wait times, even during orders in the same time. Mine average 3-4 months, some took up to 6 months in the past. Just keep that in mind, and enjoy if it does ship really quickly instead

 

For those who are curious about how the new Echo girl body compares with the classic Little Harmony girl body here's some comparison pictures. It's just some crappy phone pictures but I think the biggest differences (arm joint and double jointed legs) are still visible.

One thing I don’t like about LM body is the hands of grace girl body. Tried to replace one hand and the connection part broke.

 

I am planning to test it out next week as my Little Harmony girl needs to be restringed anyway. Then I'll take some pictures and post them here as well .

Yes she's in cocoa cream. It's a very light and ashy color. Personally I much prefer the event skin from February (my Harmony Roselyn). But I'm very happy with the Echo girl body.

Oh noes. Have you asked LM about getting replacement parts?

 

I restrung my Little Harmony girl today and I took the chance to test the compatibility with the new Echo girl body. Luckily it works very well .

Cocoa Cream: Echo girl body

Both bodies side by side. The Little Harmony girl (WS) has heel feet that's why the feet look different.


I've successfully Frankendoll'ed them together . The Little Harmony girl legs seem to be a tiny bit longer indeed.


The echo girl body comes with more ridges and notches to help with posing.

Personally I prefer torsos where the joint doesn't sit directly under the bust so I like the old torso better.

 

@laquaza I didn’t really *ask* them but I mentioned in Q&A board to not string Roselyn too tight at the wrist bc of what happened, and they just said the hands shouldn’t be hard to change. I don’t intend to use original hands anw so I just ignore it.
Do you find them being strung too tight? I personally like the burst joint being hidden bc it looks better, but which one do you feel easier to pose?

so it is possible. that is my ideal setup! classic torso + echo's arm and foot.

 

Agreed. This would be my ideal body too . As I personally prefer the torso joint to sit lower on the abdomen. For me the hidden torso joint looks nicer but I think the lower joint looks more natural when bend. I don't usually display my dolls naked so I don't really care if the joint is visible or not.
Functionally they are pretty similar so I'd say it's only a matter of personal taste .

Forgot to add:
I might eventually update my Little Harmony girls arms and legs to the Echo one. But right now I can't justify the costs . Another time.

 

I just received my Roselyn today and I have mixed feeling about the skin colour. It clearly has pink/red undertone but my phone camera can’t capture it. The colour looks completely different from how it looks like in real life.


Another thing is I didn’t expect Roselyn head is quite small, smaller than Cleria head. Even the head hole is also smaller. I feel like the head doesn’t look so good with grace echo body. Smaller body will look better.



I feel like all LM tan skin colours don’t reflect real colours in photos. They have undertone colours you can only see with your eyes. Will try to take photos again tmr morning to see if colour looks better.
Btw anyone ordered the sandy gray skin this time?

I agree with you on the skin color. I have a little Roselyn in cocoa cream and a Roselyn in the event skin from last february. And I much prefer the one from february. Cocoa cream looks very ashy.
