She's so much prettier in person, I love her! Have a look!

She does look different from the front! But her profile reminds me a bit of Little Sophia, look:



So she still keeps the Little Monica aesthetic, in my opinion! Also, her ears are sculpted differently than my Little Kliff, and her headcap is different as well. Let me know if anyone is interested in seeing those.

I personally can't wait to see Lariat with other faceups Hope people order her, she's super cute!

 

Guys do any of you know what other resin match WS? I like my little sophia body, but I really hate her arms and hands, she seems a robot. Or maybe if not a body another pair of hands that I can use for her?
And I don't know why, she's soo lose even if I restringed her three times this year .-.

 

I don't have any WS dolls but Emkayy (@lpslck) • Instagram photos and videos has a WS LM/DreamingDoll hybrid. Go ask her about resin match. Dreaming Doll MSD hands are sold on their website ^ ^

I have the one lpslck has (SD) and she rocks at posing, plus the DreamingDoll MSD body looks very mature which can be a plus if that's what you're looking for with your Little Sophia. People often comoare them to the FL bodies when it comes to posing. Have a nice day

@SecretSnek Thanks! Sorry I can't help you with your clothing question since my boy is a hybrid. You could try comparing the LM girl body measurements to both Volks MSD and Fairyland minifee measurements. If they're close to Volks, then you are looking at standard MSD size clothing. If they're close to Fairyland, you're working with a slim mini. You can then use those terms to narrow down your clothing choices.

 

As kimchi said I use slim msd clothing on my lm girls some minifee clothes could fit as well if stretchy and not too tight; kid delf clothes are good as well for shoes I suggest wamami on ebay or aliexpress, they fit perfectly!

Sure, can't wait! i have a pair of leggins and one of shorts made for minifee and they fit if it isn't really tight you should be able to use them

 

Hello~ I've been a Little Monica fan for a while now but this is the first time I've checked out this thread! I just had to pop in and say how much I love the dolls in this line, and everyone's pictures here are lovely! I'm finding that I'm absolutely smitten with the Gloomy Irin sculpt and I'm despairing at ever finding one~

 

Somehow I managed to completely talk myself out of buying two Little Monica wigs today, and yet couldn't stop myself from ordering a Little Sophia;; I basically just plopped down a deposit and now I'm going to be impatiently waiting for her to arrive!

Also, I'm wondering if anyone might have preferences or suggestions between 12mm and 14mm eyes for the Sophia sculpt? I like the look of the 14mm eyes they have in her stock photos, but I'm nervous about getting a pair and finding they completely overwhelm her face!

 

@applemelon congratulations, I love Sophia sculpt (I actually want her in the Harmony line but I'm waiting for them to re-release tan and brown skin). Also, I just got myself a Little Monica Elena second hand, does anyone have her sculpt here?

 

@KuroHitsuji I was originally considering getting her in the Harmony line, but I much prefer mini-sized dolls! I do hope they rerelease their tan and brown resins for you soon, though~

Recently I decided I would eventually be getting a Little Sophia (for a very specific character) and I was wondering if any of you super wonderful people had any WS Little Monica lovelies to share pictures of.

The character is undead, so technically I shall be blushing her to look a little dead, but I want to see if the white is too white. Not sure how pale normal skin is for this company, but maybe white skin might be easier for my to airbrush into undeathness than NS.

 

@applemelon I prefer 14 mm in my sophia, but 12 works pretty well too! Sophia hasn't got very big eyes so you don't notice a great difference between the two sizes
@KuroHitsuji I'm waiting for an Elena too! She'll be here next week, I'll post some pictures
@dollsoflace white skin from lm is really... white! You can see a sophia in ws 1-2 page ago in this thread (the one with light blue hair)

@dollsoflace, I only have box opening photos of my WS Irin, unfortunately, which aren't very well color balanced, but I do have a couple of pictures with and without flash comparing her to two of my other dolls (WithDoll in RealUV and FairyLand in NS), and she is very, very white! She's currently blushed to NS, actually, though when I have time I'm planning to take her back down to WS and see how she works for me in her proper color.

And here she is in terrible indoor lighting right after I got her. (she doesn't look like this at all anymore!)

@dollsoflace my Rin is in WS. There are a couple of photos of him already here in this thread (just a handful of posts back) with a faceup. Below is a photo of his head on his WS Leekeworld body without clothes or faceup (and before he was properly a he *cough*). You can see how pale the LM resin is compared to the Leeke resin. It is snow white.

@vicemage — thank you so much for the picture and the links to the comparison with flash/without. Since I have a NS Minifee at home, it totally allows me to see just how white she is! Like milk. It's actually a pretty color.

@Kimchi — I can definitely see that she's snow white compared to the Leeke resin. That puts it a lot into perspective too! (Also thanks for sharing the Harmony Sophia with me — she's on my wishlist too... so many dollies) ~

After these wonderful pictures, I think I might actually go for her in white skin because it would match the ideas I have in my head much more. I also know that the LM pictures of her are in WS, but since they're promo, I thought they might be adjusted and not quite true to color... which is why I was looking for owner pics.

I am trying to make Little Sophia into a game character... and I'm thinking white skin might be best to try and undead-ify. Sorry for the crappy mock-up. I just needed to see if she was really the sculpt to bring this character to life.

@dollsoflace I definitely see that character in the Sophia sculpt! I think the red and black theme would look very striking on a Sophia.

Just wanted to drop by and say hi to the thread as I just placed an order today for my first Little Monica doll: a Little Monica Sophia boy. I can't wait to get him.

Do Minifee clothes fit Little Monica Little Harmony bodies?

 

I looked at the measurements and the moe line of FL is very similar in size to the Little Harmony line. If you have something inexpensive to buy that fits minifee size I would try it out to see. Or you could go to the Little Monica mini discussion and ask there

 

Some things fit some don't. Minifees are slimmer under the bust, so if it's very tailored there and non-stretchy it will be too tight on the LM body. But if it's looser and/or stretchy it will probably fit.
Here's a MNF dress made of a somewhat stretchy tulle fabric. It's pretty tight under the bust but it fits:

Just got a reply and LM will only be re-releasing tan skin... I wanted a brown skin girl... Well I just asked if they had future plan for brown skin.

 

Aaaahhh the new boy they just announced is so cute! His little teeth are adorable q~q 33 I wont be able to get him, but I would love to see owner photos of him in tan!

 

For anyone wanting to order the LM's brown skin they said "Brown skin will be come again in the next special skin event. Please kindly wait for a while."

Not sure how long would that be but it's okay for me since I'm not in a hurry. On another note, anyone here is going to order their tan skin?

 

Could I possibly request pictures of Bear from anyone who has his sculpt? He's another option for a character I'm working on shelling. I'm in love with his worried expression.
Edit: Also, to leave my options open, do you think it's possible to use one of their female sculpt heads on the male body, or is the neck hole shaped differently?

 

I don't have any photos of Bear unfortunately, but I do know when you purchase from Little Monica you have the option to choose the Girl or Boy body for any of their head sculpts~

Like does it pose well?
Are the joints good?
Does it fit MSD clothes well?
Does the head wobble on the body?

I have two Little Harmony girls (one of whom is actually a Little Sarubia)

It's probably one of my favourite bodies, in part due to its simplicity. I'm not the best at posing, so I generally go for stable posers over creative posers. The Little Harmony body has single jointed legs, so you lose a bit of flexibility there, but the poses it can do it will hold until the end of time just about.

It fits MSD clothes fine, but it is a bit wider across the chest than a minifee or a luts doll, so anything designed for those dolls that is meant to be super fitted with no give to it is probably going to be a struggle to get on.

I have not noticed any head wobble with my girls.

Your mileage will vary depending on what is important to you, but for me, it's a nice body, I like the aesthetics of it, it suits my needs for posing and the only downside is that the hands could be a little nicer, but that's not really the end of the earth so I don't fuss about it much.

I've done a photo review here and here
It is one of my favourite body too, has a nice look and feel. Stand solid.
As the body is not so slim like minifee, makes clothes shopping easier.
