Little Monica - Harmony Line (Part 3)

Neither me have seen other tan dolls.

I have a question for LM boy owners. My crow can not turn his neck to the sides or down so he seems to be looking down. He has an awful neck posability. Do you have the same problem? Any idea about how to improve it?

 

@Shara my friend @Calfuray purchased a brown Sophia secondhand, still on layaway and at this point I've forgotten who the first owner was but Nina if you see this could you pop in with her photo? She's gorgeous in brown

@Mayumi_Nyu on two of my girls the neck mobility is limited due to tight stringing.My girl strung more loosely has great head motion, and one of the tighter ones has a silicon kip in there and that improves it a lot too. I can't say for the boys, in case it is their sculpting, but looser strings and/or sueding is my advice!

@Shara Thanks for your love to my Haazel. Your Enrill is absolutely stunning!!! Am I the only one who thinks Haazel somehow looks pretty like Enrill's big brother or a grown-up version?

 

Keisuke is actually the very same LM doll that I've seen irl, I actually was the one to paint it. Before I didn't much care about Ginger, but he looks very beautiful irl!

Calfuray, congrats on your new girl! Those lips are a bit dark for my personal liking, but otherwise Sophia indeed looks amazing in tan

Zhenwu, I think you're right, there is something a bit similar to Haazel and Enrill. Both can look a bit melancholy or on the other hand very annoyed depending on angle.

I wish they would redo the tan event too. Id really love a tan Belica. Ive seen quite a few of the msd girls in tan, but not so many sd dolls. Maybe the event was too short for people to save up for the big ones lol.

Also, My Gloomy Enrill has shipped!

 

I think I'll try to contact them and ask. I've seen some post where they promised to have this event every 6 months. And nothing so far.

This photo on my instagram shows a minifee next to my WS Roselyn! And standing in the back to the left and right, my Gloomy Roselyn and Secret Roselyn (I'm an addict oops). Minifees are smaller than your 'standard' MSDs but I hope this helps some!

My LM Sophia is finally here!



I love her so much and she fits in perfectly with the rest of my crew! Her name is Emmeline, or just Emmi. She's so photogenic

 

@faireva Thank you! I love them too! They are definitely the most beautiful legs I've seen on a doll, so I just had to show them off on some of the photos I actually think her body looks and poses a bit like PW's Lolita body.

Apologies if this is a dumb question, but does Little Monica ever re-release the Gloomy versions?

I wasn't in the hobby yet, so someone correct my history if I'm wrong! I think they've rereleased Innocent Sophia once, and maybe Gloomy Sarubia?

 

In case anyone is wondering about the re-release of tan/brown skin:
I asked them about this and why it hasn't been re-released yet when it was announced as every 6 months event and got this reply:
We plan to release limited skin sales this summer. I can not provide you the detailed information yet.

What does everyone think of their new basic Grace/Harmony size girl Lily?? I can tell Little Monica's sculptor has a new style of faces lately. To me, Lily, Lariat, Kun, and Evan all look like they belong to the same family. Sadly I haven't seen many owner pics of any of these dolls to make up my mind whether I like the new style as opposed to their more stylized earlier face. However, there is something kind of interesting about Lily. I wish they included some blank photos of the sculpt so we could get a better idea of the face structure. I do really like her really natural looking faceups though.

 

I've been on the fence about Little Monica's new style. Lariat still feels like she can fit in with their other dolls. But Lily doesn't really fit outside the other recent releases. I do think Lily is beautiful, but I won't be buying anytime soon since I'd like all my dolls to look more cohesive with each other. I'm also still hoping for releases of their old sculpts, I would buy an Innocent Roselyn instantly should they make her! I hope they still have the sculptors/ability to do the variants that made them my favorite company

 

Yeah I also noticed that LM had been changing their style since Evan came out. The new dolls look more on the realistic side. In my opinion, changing style is risky for a doll company if they already have an memorable one ( which LM definitely do). I hope that LM will not give up their old style. But at same time I'm expecting new sculpts in new style, as they are actually as charming as always.

 

Yeah Lily does stand out among LM's other dolls. She does still have some similar features (like the wide nose bridge), but the eyes are much smaller than what I'm used to with this company. Not my cup of tea, but I go for the googley-eyed anyways

 

I've been hanging out a bunch on Little Monica's website the past few days, trying not to be too tempted by anything;; But I noticed they offer full body blushing for their dolls, which I thought was pretty neat!

I was wondering if anyone has done full body blush on their doll without doing a company faceup, or if it's even possible to do so? I assume the head in that case would be blank, and that it might be a little tricky to do a color match.

 

Hello everyone,
I would like to know, if there was ever a known case of someone, who put a Soom Super Gem head (prefferable female),
on a Little Monica Harmony body?
I am planning ahead for a hybrid and would really love to know if that would make a valid combination.
(The harmony bodies are lovely and would fit my character perfectly)

I don't know if the Super Gem's are the same size are the Idelian's or not, but if they are the head would be kind of big. I've got a Soom Dover and his head is definitely longer with more forehead than my Little Monica guys. I'm pretty sure that the female heads are smaller than the guys heads but I could take a picture tomorrow when I get home from work if you're interested in seeing how my Dover would look.

 

Late to the style discussion but, are we sure LM doesn't have a new sculptor? The style is pretty different, so perhaps they've hired another person! Lily kinda reminds me of old Souldoll sculpts a little bit. She is really cute but she does stand out.

I know I'm just a whining crybaby but I am still really bitter about how they completely blew off their tan schedule. I had my heart set on a tan Chloe but since they just never rereleased the tan and refused to say when they would again, I made other plans and will get a tan girl elsewhere. >__> That said, you gonna get one? Their tan colors are super beautiful T__T

I have an Idealian head too, so I would get a good Idea about proportions in general.
Soom heads are really kind of special and it's hard to find other bodies for the girls.
I love the Soom bodies, but my character I try to shell, is just smaller.
Pictures would be really much appreciated, even of the boys body.

All in all I think Dao looks hilarious. I couldn't get his head to not want to fall off the Little Monica body which is why he looks so strange. Also, bonus brain in the background.

Hi guys, I've finally menaged to buy an harmony body, now I'm desperately looking for a head xD can't make up my mind between sophia and sarubia! Anyone has a picture of them together?

 

I also decided to get a tan girl elsewhere. It's pretty hard though. So many companies don't even offer tan or the tan shade isn't nice...I'll try to go for a Dragondoll and hope it won't be too orange.

 

You guys!!! They announced the tan event!!!

 

Omg tan!! Of course this would come when I have no money Q_Q I wish they would release brown skin as well, the tan is just a little too dark (and... orange? Are my eyes tricking me?) for me. But I might take the plunge and get an Enrill in tan anyway.

On top of that, my Gloomy Haazel is shipping and everything is awesome.

 

@Littlebirdzoom : I know!!! I got so impatient waiting for them to rerelease them that I bought a different tan boy. So I cannot get one this round. I wanted to get Haazel in brown skin...

Well looks like tan was the only option anyway. *SIGH* Can't wait to see more LM dolls though!!!

@Littlebirdzoom : YES! They had originally said they were going to offer these tan events more consistently so at first I kept waiting but gave up after a while. A Volks SD17 Shiro Tachibana came on sale for a good price second hand so I entered a layaway. I would have loved to get a brown Haazel, but I will wait for the next event that offers brown. Like you, I'm partial to the lighter creamy coffee color, vs their darker tan. Although... Enrill... he'd be gorgeous in a darker color!!!!

 

I'm wondering if anyone can help me out with suggestions on what size clothing fits the Harmony Girl Body. Does standard SD10/13 clothing fit it well?

Hopefully somebody here ended up buying a tan doll, because I'd love to see more of them!

 

It depends, but they seem to fit good! Some might be a little large I found out some msd stretchy stuff that fit as well

My sophia head was shipped, can't wait to have her complete, she's my grail (I also have msd version)

 

I wonder if i could ask for a little help please. I am thinking of ordering Sophie but the pull down menu for choices is confusing me.
There is a choice of hands A or B but i cannot find the 2 comparisons anywhere
on the site, just Harmony basic girl hands.
Also there is a choice of faceup A or B again i cannot find a comparison.
Am i missing something? It's driving me nuts!

I am sorry but I can't find Sophie anywhere, do you mean Sophia?

The hands type A and B is an option when you choose the harmony G boy body, if you are going for the girl body, just select (girl body selected). As for the face-up, the 'add face-up' option means you will get her default face up that you see in the Sophia page. If you select other type face up, you can choose the default face up from other dolls and you need to mention which one when you check out.

can anyone help me out again...For Sophia owners- could you show me the factory faceup and other faceups you may have...I am trying to decide whether to go ahead with the factory faceup, or have a different faceup from the shop (maybe roselyn or B type Belica), or send her away
