I waited until I got the second confirmation email from DDE to post here, I just secured my grail, a Secret Roselyn!! I purchased the full Gloomy Roselyn they had in stock, with the extra head! I even called them twice to ensure they could accommodate my 6 month layaway, and that the "mystery head" was in fact Secret Roselyn! I'm so over the moon right now!
I figure there's no point in updating the waiting room, because she's already been made, and I'm only doing layaway to afford the payments while I'm in school and working less. But I can't wait to get her! I fully plan to pay her off early when I get the time to work more days a week.

 

@Loeki I love her face-up, she is absolutely gorgeous! I am starting to want to add a tan/brown LM girl in my wishlist now

 

She's here! This is sophia in the brown resin tone. It's clearly much warmer and a couple shades lighter than the tan.

Thank you @Loeki. I gave her a temporary look. She'll get repainted with the next batch of commissions, but I wanted to be able to do some fashion shoots in the meantime.

@faireva I like this look a lot; it just doesn't give the 'feeling' I was hoping for with her. I do like the white lashes. Though, so that will probably stay.

 

@rianne ahh I missed your reply >_< sorry and thanks! It's quite amazing since I often hear tan dolls tend to have heavy seam lines. Also her face up is so beautiful love the white lashes!

 

@mo29368 No problem. I looked closer, and she really doesn't seem to have any seam lines. It's pretty amazing. And thank you!

 

I repainted Summer's lips to better reflect her actual look. It's not perfect, but she feels right now.

Guys I'm loosing my shit. I think I found the perfect doll for me. I was on the Little Monica website and decided to look at the limited edition/special harmony dolls and saw Monica?! ---- # Little Monica # ---- WHAT?! Does anyone know anything about her and how she was sold/when she was available?! It says she was only available to VIP members...not sure though.

 

@Magical Ghoul OKAY SO Monica is for VIP members. You get her head (blank) for free when you become a VIP member. To become a VIP member, you must spend $3000 with Little Monica, all on your one account. Once a year, February 4th, the anniversary of the founding of Little Monica, is when they upgrade members to VIP status. So even if you spent your $3000 say, now, you would not become a VIP member until February 4th, 2017.

Holy hell, you'd think she was gold-plated or something! Though I like the concept of a "loyalty" gift, the exclusivity is a downer for anyone who wants her.

 

@Kimchi Yeah I was actually bummed I have a $650 doll on layaway through DDE that won't go toward my total! I'd be halfway there to getting Monica with that added in! But it's only a small bummer, because it's my grail at DDE and limited and I want her way more than Monica.

 

Could one of you lovely folks with a Sophia help me out? I'm wondering what she looks like with 14mm eyes.

@Kimchi Summer here is wearing 16mm Mako eyes which run really small (basically 15mm) for contrast.

@Magical Ghoul I've mostly seen volks hybrids. A Flickr search should get you a bunch of LM heads on volks bodies for reference.

Bought a Giselle head recently, I'm getting so anxious and impatient, she's gonna be used for my boy Kishen, can't wait.

 

Very interesting! I am sure he will be gorgeous. I am thinking about a sophia boy and probably a sarubia boy in a future, so I would love to know if heads are compatible with boy bodies ^^

 

I know LM gives you the option to switch out a girl body for a boy body, I'm planning on hybriding and likely doing some mod work on the neck if needed.
But good luck! I've been looking into getting a Sarubia boy in the future as well, wouldn't that face make such a sweet boy?

I got my innocent Chloe in normal skin today.
She's a beauty, a delicate sculpt with a wonderful makeup.

I put her on a delf body (in real skin normal) and I think the match is perfect, both in proportion and in color.


I'm still wondering on the name, but I'm amazed. I've always loved Littlemonica dolls, especially the innocent version, I'm so happy I finally got one

BTW, with a different makeup, I think this mold can also play as a beautiful boy

She has the default "A makeup" offered for this event. There was also a B makeup, darker and with a little painted tear, but i preferred this one.

 

Hi guys,

I've just fallen for LM dolls and will hopefully be able to afford one of their girls next year.

What do you think of the girl body? It is worth the money? or should I better try to hybrid?

@Lythtis The body does have some problems, but it's not so bad I want to go through with making a hybrid for all my LM dolls (I will be putting the Secret Roselyn head on a Luts body just for body variation in my crew). Single jointed knees have never been a problem for me. She stands solidly. The elbow joint has a very nice line to it, though it's a little limited with how they designed the peanut piece. To bend past 90˚ it locks into a more bent position, and that's it. But it still swivels around and looks nice! And then the overall sculpting of the body I think is beautiful

 

@Cuteasadoll Thank you so much for your reply! We share the same opinion: the body looks gorgeous aesthetic-wise *__* Ans concerning the "problems" you mentioned, they are not really "problems" for me because I think every companies bodies has some designing flaws.

Going on a bit of a photo posting wave due to a recent bunch of uploads.

Here's a pic of my Little Monica Demetri (named Zephyr) from the recent Resin Rose convention. Since the theme was apocalyptic, he fit right in! X3

 

Since Little Monica stated during their first tan event that the summer one would be during June~August, I'm starting to get excited about ordering a tan girl! I'm wondering if anyone who ordered a tan Harmony girl earlier would be willing to share what the price was? I'm assuming it was more than a white/normal skin doll, and I'm trying to get my dollie finances in order to make sure I can afford it this time!! XD

What is the difference between the little monica harmony boy body and the harmony boy g body?

 

the harmony g body has a slimmer neck circumference so it's compatible with the LM girl heads as well ^^
