@Littlebirdzoom usually website can run for a while until the subscription is canceled, and most businesses pay subscription annually. But I guess they don’t want people to accidentally order on the website after 2 months.

My list isn’t that long and still it costs me over 1k I wished their normal skin is on the pinkish side and not yellow so I can mix a bit and not all white.

 

Is their WS easier to match? I thought it was the other way around. I see Volks hybrids that work pretty well. I got most of mine in NS

 

@Littlebirdzoom the NS looks really good on their photos and some Korean collectors’ photos, but I have seen the non-edit photos and colour looks yellowish. In the long term I don’t want my dolls to look too yellow (like some old Volks). WS has a pinkish undertone and shines like pearl, especially Lm resin is matte so it looks nice.

how does the NS look in your opinion? I have FL NS and I think she’s the only one with NS in my collection, but FL NS is kinda pink/peach so I’m ok with it.

 

I contacted Alice's Collections. They will accept layaway orders, but for three months only. I'm going to contact Little Monica directly and see if they will accept a 3-installment layaway this Friday.
Per their website, 3-installment layaways are 40%, 30%, and 30%.

 

I forgot Alice Collections was also their dealer! Thank you for letting me know! I did ask in their Q&A section of Little Monica's site about layaway so hopefully it'll be good news.

 

@Quinn.nnp I have some NS parts from LM. A Cleria head from 2021 and an old yellowed Harmony body.
I can take a comparison picture with WS for you when I get back from work.

 

Ok, so Little Monica got back to me and they're still allowing 3month layaway.

To be honest I have't had their NS in my hands for a while, so I couldn't comment. I don't mind the yellow look, however, and really love old banana Volks dolls xD LM normal does border on being pretty yellow though, from what I remember, but I also remembering it photographing better than a lot of other companies NS tones. I'm a bit picky with normal tones, some of them just look odd. But their WS is really beautiful too.

I'm happy people are finding options and they're still offering layaway! I was pretty annoyed when DDE pulled the plug and told me they're not accepting any orders at all (although it doesn't surprise me I'm happy they exist, but)

I hope everyone can bring who they want most home.

I've also compared it to Luts NS because I feel they are very close. A hybrid would definitely work. Which might be good to know if you just want to grad some heads instead of whole dolls.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. That's so so helpful I'm extremely happy I can probably hybrid these boys I got onto Luts bodies, since I love their bodies. It's hard to tell between Luts NS and Luts Peach which one looks closer. They're more similar than I thought. What's your opinion?

 

thanks @laquaza after your photo I'm firm on my decision on WS lol. I like the white pink look and can change the shooting light so it doesn't look too white.

I got heads of Roselyn and Sophia in different expressions except the closing eyes ones. Still debating whether I should get Roselyn Secret too Feel like too many heads with half-close eyes lol. I could have just order the heads but Vampire Chloe isn't on the list so I have to order full doll. Also need to push my order amount to reach 3k in total to get Monica head. Luckily I ordered 2 times limited dolls before so it helps somewhat but still

 

Has anyone asked about the VIP Monica head and gotten an answer yet? If they will still do it or add her to the list?

Definitely NS. My phone camera sadly ate some of the red undertones. But yes Luts NS and Luts peach are extremely close. I can't reliably tell them apart unless I see them next to each other in good light conditions .

I actually do have an anecdote about just how close Luts NS and Luts peach are.

When I received my Luts KDF Aengdu in peach resin I was 100% convinced she was actually NS. I even had a new Luts NS event head at home but I compared them that closely. And I bought alternate hand and feet parts in NS for Aengdu (peach). I never noticed her hands where not the same color as the rest of her body .
It was only when I got another KDF in NS and I took pictures of them close together that I eventually noticed the difference.


KDF Aengdu in the middle is in peach resin while her fist hand is in NS.

I might just be blind though. But to me Luts peach and NS are super hard to tell apart in real life. On camera it can be more noticeable.

I am not owning any Little Monica dolls so far, but seeing that they close I am very tempted to add some to my collection before the chance passes

Would you say it's worth to buy a body too? How is their movement? I am mostly looking at little harmony (girl) and harmony (boy) bodys.
It would be easier to pay just the heads

Does their white skin work with Ringdoll ns maybe? Since it is slightly pink

 

I personally really, really don't like their SD bodies. The harmony boy body is my least favorite and I've had both the normal and grace versions. They just look like they can pose and don't pose very well. Unless you want their bodies specifically, I would personally look to hybrid. Just my two cents. They just aren't good posers. I ordered the Grace Echo body and the little echo body in this event and am looking forward to seeing how they work, because I do like the looks of them a lot.

 

@Littlebirdzoom grace echo body poses much better than grace body and harmony body. Especially the elbow part and split thighs
The thing is LM said all SD girl heads work with both harmony and grace echo, but clearly harmony body is smaller and less mature. Some heads, like Roselyn looks better in proportion on harmony body compare to grace body.

I have grace echo body in cocoa cream and grace body in white. But I have to push my order to reach enough 3k to get Monica head so I got another grace echo body in white. I'd get harmony body if they improve the elbow and the chest part.

 

I think my order history meets this criteria but all my orders prior to 2016 are no longer viewable in my account so i cant be sure I wonder if they have records of my older orders?

Sounds like I can go with Luts bodys without regret. Which would be good, since I can buy more heads if I don't want a body xD

 

If I understand correctly the "echo" versions of the bodys are more advanced with movement?
Would you happen to know how they do compared to Luts? I would really only buy one if it's super recommended by people since I want 2-3 heads already xD

 

Can anyone tell me if that head is a Demetri or a Gloomy Demetri?
I am not good with sculpt guessing

 

I don’t have Luts so can’t say which one is better sorry. But aesthetically I prefer LM female body than Luts female body. I don’t think LM has improved their male body yet, but I don’t look at their male dolls so not sure about that.

Still there are other bodies that can hybrid with LM heads. I just really like their resin compare to the rest.

 

@Pyoko Posingwise Luts bodies are much better. At least when it comes to the old Harmony bodies. The male LM bodies especially have never been updated.

But I agree with @Quinn.nnp when it comes to the aesthetics. The Harmony bodies look better to me as well.

Just make sure you compare neck sizes when hybriding.

Good looking bodies are nice but not much use to me if they can't pose. So I will definitely look for hybrid bodys for the little Monica heads I want to get

I was dithering back and forth about what heads to get but finally decided on NS Gloomy Yuria and WS Vampire Sarubia. The rest I want are not limiteds so hopefully i can get them secondhand at some point

 

Anyone try for the large bust in the grace echo body? I do like how the bust looks without anything on, but it doesn't look like any known other doll size clothes won't fit over the huge boobs lol

 

@RamenNoodle it may be ok if the clothes are adjustable at the back. But I remember having a hard time to tight the dress on the grace body around the bust part so not too confident. Also I feel like it'll be harder to stable the body standing with such heavy boobs

I also pulled the trigger on the final sale. I was having a hard time choosing from all the beautiful sculpts they offer.

I purchased Ryuhwa, Eden and Broken Enrill. Only heads though! I wish I could have bought more but I am happy I grabbed these lovelies before Little Monica closes.

 

I got Enrill Symphony and Haazel heads. I thought about picking up Gloomy Yuria as well, but I think I'm going to have to pass.

 

I had some serious FOMO and put a Chloe on layaway. I've always liked her sculpt and now's the time.

 

So sad LM in closing... One of my first dolls was LM Ginger, which I don't own anymore. I love love Little Monica Halloween event dolls a lot and since I have a final change now, I ordered Vampire Giselle with a body and Vampire Sarubia head both in white. I would have loved some more heads, but I got the two I love the most at least...

 

@daeki my first LM doll was Vampire Giselle too and she's the one in my avatar. This time I ordered Vampire Chloe. I wish I got other heads with a body in sandy gray skin last year during the halloween event. I feel like they should have said last event would be the last time to order special skin or something. Now I have 6 heads in order all white lol

 

I decided which heads to order.
Got myself the heads of 1/3 Dyuke and Gloomy Demetri + 1/4 Little Sarubia and Little Sophia.
Little Sophia with face up since I really wanted to have one little Monica company face up in my possession.

Really no idea who I will send the boys to for face up though. I feel like the EU artists all specialize in cute girls
"hot guys" seems to be kind of Korea/Taiwan artists speciality. So I guess it will be hard to find someone.

 

LM emailed me that my order history was enough to qualify for Monica! Im so glad! I'll be getting her in white skin

Also excited to see all these limited heads everyone is ordering some of them have almost no photos online.

 

does anyone have both harmony body and grace/grace echo body?
I'd like to know if harmony body wear sdgr or sd16 clothes, or can share clothes with grace/grace echo body.
When I compare the measurements, it looks like harmony body is bigger than sdgr size, but smaller than sd16

 

I can only confirm that the Harmony girl body can wear SDGrG clothing. But I don't have any of the Grace bodies for comparison.

 

@laquaza do you try sd16 clothes on her? I wonder if they are too big because I'm wondering about a dress, and if both bodies can share the dress then I'll just get it

 

Actually I just checked my Feeple65 girl last night and realize her boobs are just a tart smaller than LM big boobs (28 vs 28.8). FL boobs look ok to me, and posing wise she can stand with her boobs, so I'm thinking if I should get LM big chest part too? or just change my order to big chest. Hmm thinking thinking.

I'm just not sure about LM big chest because they seem...too big

 

I've just tried an SD16 dress on a Harmony body and it's too big just as expected. SD16 is generally broader, especially in the shoulder and upper torso area.

Here's a comparison of a Harmony girl next to a SDGrG and a Df-H 63cm girl (the only one in my crew who fits SD16 clothing)


The Harmony girl is really similar to the SDGrG (just a little bit slimmer) so she can wear SDGrG clothing very well. But SD16 clothing runs too wide but it might work for some styles.

Also I have a feeling SD16 pants might be too big on a Grace body as Volks SD16 is around 65cm tall (head included).

 

@laquaza oh wow I didn't know Volks SD16 is that big. I thought they are around 63cm only. So they are bigger than Grace body? or just longer legs?

I'm wondering if sd16 is even taller than Feeple65. More and more big girls joining the family haha

 

What do you all think about a white skin Sadol/SQ Lab hybrid with a LM head? I wanna grab a Chloe while I can but am having a hard time deciding on a body.

 

I believe the difference is mostly legs. So most clothing should be fine.

Also stuff like coats or other outerwear for SD16 fit Harmony girls as well. There it doesn't matter as much if it's a bit oversized. I have two wintercoats for SD16 that most of my 1/3 girls can share.

With Little Monica closing I finally went and ordered my grail dolls! A Haazel on a Harmony 2-part torso body and a Bear. I was just wondering what height I should be expecting of the Haazel doll? I presume the height listed on his page is inclduing the Grand Harmony body, so will he be a little smaller than that?

 

@Cats56 The Harmony bodies with a head are about 61cm.

I had Dyuke already and I’ve just ordered a grace harmony, Lily. She’s got a sweet face.

 

Finally decided to get a Little Monica head before they close, had always admired their lovely sculpts and wanted at least one.

Does anyone know if Little Monica WS would be a good match to Luts WS or Switch Rosy White?

 

I would like to know that too as I quickly bought a Sophia head in WS when I heard they were closing.
I tried to look up resin matches on the net and found that Luts WS is a close match (?). Switch is a little bit more pinkish than Luts, so I don't know about that. Also, I saw someone mentioned on twitter that Dreamingdoll's bodies are a good match. Oh, and I have seen Little Monica being matched with Migidoll's new grace body.

This is my first Little Monica so actually I don't know how their resins are... but I would appreciate any help from more experienced owners!

I did get a Luts WS head as well, so I'll be able to confirm if Little Monica WS matches Luts WS once both arrive.
