W085_D-P 6-6.5 (natural black) on Rosenlied Tuesday interesting hair style with a mixture of straight and curved hair.
I got some nice wigs from the two Blind Wig bags I purchased. Here are the four 8-9" wigs, modeled on my DD Mirai. LR-092 in Pure Purple color. W022 in Candy Pink color. I had a lot of trouble with the bangs because they are way too long. Also, it has two little ribbons in the back. LR-047 in Royal Champagne color. LR-039 in Misty Lavender color. I think this would look better on Elven or ornate ears. I know what you mean about this color...one of my blind wigs is Beige/Unique Lavender and it does look gray. I wasn't aware of the pretty colors that show up in the sunlight though, thank you for pointing that out!

This is a Leekeworld wig I got second hand, it's like a hay blonde colour with pink highlights, but really subtle you can hardly see it even IRL. I love it but can't tell you what the colour is called. Tinies by CinDeeCae, on Flickr
I think the colour might be their (limited) EveCoctail. Just this morning, I happen to have checked my own Dec 2010 order for a wig that seems similar in colour. It's the one my DiM Annabeth-DC (and Iplehouse) boy hybrid (doll on the right) is wearing: Annabeth x 3 by Wolfboy141, on Flickr Blonde wig: LR-006 in (limited) EveCoctail, size 6-6,5 inch.
Wonder if anyone owns a Leeke premium mohair wig LP-002 http://www.leekeworld.com/En/Product/p_view.asp?it_code=5907&B_catalog_num=148 Requesting any pic doll putting it on. Appreciate your great help Thanks in advance.
Does anyone have pictures of this wig http://www.leekeworld.com/En/Product/p_view.asp?it_code=6965&B_catalog_num= W136 in any size or color?
Art wig Blue Fairy (modeled on Supia Hayul), size 6.5 inches. I cut the bangs to be blunt; they were a bit longer when I received it, and likely meant to be swept to the left side of the doll's head if left alone. Not visible: the back of the crown of the head is colored pastel blue. Overall it's very light and fluffy.
Anyone know if Leekeworld makes their wigs with limited colors better than their basic selection? I ordered a few of their typical colored wigs earlier this year and they were horrible quality. Plasticy textured and the style didn't match the picture very well. I ordered all 8/9 sizes but one of them was very big, probably 9/10. One of the wigs was bi-colored and one of the colors on that wig was a limited color and it was semi-okay. Anyone know if there is a difference?
unfortunately their quality ranges rather widely as far as I can tell. I got one from DDE awhile back and it was gorgeous and thick. It was their limited white (think it was "snow"? something?). But then I got another one of their wigs in the green/white mix (cant remember the color name) and it is a little sparse at the top and you can see the wig cap. Though it isnt as bad as other wigs I've seen online. Edit: found some pics... the green and white is the bright lime... I do still really like this wig but like I said... you cant really restyle it much without the wig cap peeking out Leeke/Dollga Charlie Wig and here is the white one that is perfect other than having a slight issue with the bangs (which you can see in this photo): Leeke/Dollga Faith Wig
It can definitely vary. In my experience, the lighter-colored wigs tend to suffer a bit more from thinness than do the darker ones, and it tends to show a bit more on those colors. Most of the wigs I have bought from them recently have been limited colors and for the most part I have been fairly pleased. I placed an order for their blind wig packs this week fully aware that I'm taking my chances, but for the price I'm willing to roll the dice. I don't believe the fiber is materially different between the normal and the limited wigs (some of the colors Leeke does for limited are very similar to normal colors other companies make, and I'm inclined to believe the fibers are sourced from the same place). Most of the wigs are shown in the 9/10 size and some of the styles don't scale well to smaller sizes or the bangs will be super-long, for example. In general their sizing is pretty good, I definitey have to go 9/10 for some of my big-headed dolls.
@The Raven and @InvisibleWings Thank you guys so much for your input! They have some nice new colors but I'm not sure if I want to risk it yet. I'm going to try and sell the wigs I got from the last order (I ordered it during their discount event). I'll go stare at their website a little longer and make my decision. Thanks again!
Does anyone have any photos of Royal Gray or Slate Gray? I'm trying to choose between the two and I'm not sure which to go with. (The doll its for is going to have light grey in his faceup and I dont want the colors to be too close...I think I'm leaning toward Royal, but I don't really know!)
@KiyoshiSenshi I don't have either one, but I always reference this forum thread (not on DoA) for Leeke colors! *0* Dollfie Dreams • View topic - Wig Color Reference
Oh wow, that's super helpful! I think I probably will go with the Royal Grey, I love the slightly bluish tone it has. Thanks a bunch!
Does anybody have reference pictures of these wigs?: LR-160_E and W150_E I would like to see more pictures what the wigs look like on owner pictures ^^
Does anyone have a wig in the limited color 'rose pink'? it looks very similar to pink cocktail judging from the color chart swatch but then again the swatch for pink cocktail doesn't look like the actual color imo. Anyways show me some pics if you have it please!!
If someone is looking for the ART wig RoyalDeep, here's a sample below. It has a blue-ish tint that my crappy cellphone camera couldn't easily capture. Curious if anyone has the following art wigs and willing to post photos WINE LR-159_BrownOlive (can be any color honestly) and GrayMix_Short
Reviving this thread! Just got the Dark in Winter from the Art Wig collection in 7~8 inches. Here it is on my DoD MSD. Absolutely gorgeous wig, amazing quality, with 3 colors, black, white, and this pale blue/cyan. I also got Royal Deep as pictured above, but in 6~7 inch! I'll post here once my Model Delf arrives, as she is the proper size to wear it.
A sleepy thread! Can anyone confirm that leekeworld heat-resistant wigs take styling well? like curling and boil perming? Just thought I'd check to see if anyone's done this themselves! If not I'll have to test it out myself...
I have successfully flat-ironed a curly wig (LR-147 if I remember correctly but it was much curlier when it arrived than the stock photos) to straight with no issues whatsoever. I'd like to say that I used the lowest heat setting but I honestly think that I just left it on the normal setting for my own hair and everything was fine. I have also tried the boiling method but it didn't really work for me (no noticeable difference in the style, the wig/fibers were totally fine)
Does anybody have current photos of Leekeworld wigs (any style)? I'm curious to see how the quality is recently.
I bought two in the first half of the year. The one with the pony tail was a joke (it wasn't even attached properly, the wefts they'd winded together to make the pony tail were just sitting there on top of the head). The second had a fairly large balding/thin spot in the front. I got a refund on both.
I ordered some along with another person (they placed the order so I cant technically confirm who is responsible for errors but) I ordered I think around last Christmas maybe, there was a sale event. More than half the wigs I ordered I received a wrong wig. Wrong sizes and one was completely not the wig I asked for (they sent a totally different style art wig in the same color as what I wanted). I was impressed that even on a not light fiber wig I could see through to wefts if I didn't arrange hair properly. Lastly there was too much variation on sizes that were supposed to be the same so I couldn't really predict how things would fit. After that experience I don't think I will order from them directly. Now, I have never had any problems with wigs I received from Denver doll. Not entirely sure why but I would suggest that somehow maybe if you want leeke wigs it's better to order their stock, though they don't carry all the designs.
hello guys does anyone have pictures of LEEKEWORLD wigs in hime style ? I´m looking for one for my dolls. Thankyou!
Does anybody have an in-person photo of the "yuria" style wig. I can't tell if it's regular black, grey-undertone black, or a very dark brown color. Trying to decide before I put I order from DenverDoll.
I have this wig in 7/8 WINE It's quite a bit too big on a lookback mnf, but can fit an older mnf with a silicone wigcap. Here it is on a mnf Marcia from ~11 years ago.
