Yeah the tan does seem quite golden this time around.

The three outfits - I love the wine and black one that Mikhaila is wearing and ordered both. The pink one that Ariana is wearing looks like it belongs on a fembot, and the one that Valentina is wearing I like the underwear but I'm not too keen on the green overdress. If they'd kept going with the white floaty thing I would have been all over it. Oh well, my Clarice has a dress anyway.

Are there many comparison photos of the new tan Mikhaila's to the old tan? I'm having a debate with myself over which to get and what to do with her. Had vague ideas of an ndoll pigtail wig I'd been eyeing for awhile but now the site doesn't seem to be working... decisions decisions.

Koitten I have a comparison photo on my Flickr stream but I don't think there is a leeke comparison photo.

 

I have to admit when I saw the new tan Mikhaila release I had a split second where I thought of having a sister for my girl, but luckily I let the idea slide, maybe most lucky for my wallet and besides I can barely deal with the cuteness of one of these girls, I couldn't at all manage two.
Haven't shared a picture of my girl in this thread yet, so here is my Mathilda with her gorgeous dress which I haven't removed for ages, she's so adorable in it!

 

What a gorgeous girl. She looks so brooding and pensive.

Well I did succumb to tan Mikhaila. I've been told she should be shipping the start of December so fingers crossed. I'll also be getting both of the new dresses - so one for my pure rose and one for my tan Mikhaila

 

Bringing by some spam of May.. with her big daddy. xD She still doesn't have a face-up, but I actually quite like her blank.

Such gorgeous girls. My Amelia is rather neglected at the moment -mainly because she has nothing to wear! I need to rectify that (sadly, not by own sewing skills, which are non-existant!).

Finally broke down and decided to give May a faceup.. she has just been looking so weird as the only one with a blank face that I figured it was time. I'm really happy with it, considering I am really BAD at face-ups. >.< But now I can't decide what wig I like better!!! AHH.... this girl..

hello all!

i am in the process of hybridizing an art body with a mnf rheia head. i just got the body as a xmas present and im so stoked! she's gorgeous and im already totally in love with her. that being said, has anyone else had issues with posing? is there a particular way anyone has sueded or modded anything?

sorry if this has been gone over a million times already, i fully admit to being too lazy to backread through all the posts...

that's what i thought too Vulpes....looks like NS a little on the pinky side

 

The only difficulty I have found with the art body is the ankle joints. I know some other people have had this problem as well.
The feet will pop out of joint a LOT and it can be annoying. The joint has to be in the perfect place in order to get her to stand.
Other than that, sueding the hip joints helped a lot with my girl, she used to kick her legs. Just a little layer of hot glue in the front side of the joint was all it needed.
Hope this helped some, I didn't really know what type of problems you were having (if any).

Regarding the wonky ankle joints; I've fixed mine by putting a tiny bit of eye putty between the ball and the foot. This holds it steady so it doesn't pop out and she'll stand quite well.

 

Hi everyone, I just bought a white skinned Mikhaila head off the MP today - I've always adored her face but I'm on the fence about the body. I also hope to get a tan Mikhaila one day.
I'm hoping to hybrid Mikki on a DC kid girl body - I recently saw a pic where someone popped their Mikhaila head on the DC bod and it looked really good ... I'm just hoping the neck fits lol - does anyone here have a hybrid?
Also I was wondering what size wigs and eyes does she take?

i also have trouble with her ankles! Thanks for the tip! I never thought of that.. i was thinking about hot gluing them to the feet :S

 

i have decided that my girl will always wear ankle or knee high boots to solve the wonky ankle problem...lol

hi everyone, i always wanted an art body then a funny thing happened!
i bought one for myself with out knowing that i had been bought one as a secret birthday present!!! so i now have 2 mikhailas which im totally thrilled with. i am so in love with them that i have to confess that i have bought another 1 so i will have 3 in total when she arrives. the 2 i have are rose skin - 1 is darker than the other so i think that was lavender rose and the other is pure rose. on the way is a white skin so they will all be different!
i just had to share photos, ive been sewing for my new girls since they arrived im really in love with them!!!

ragdollkitty If your Mikhaila was lavender then you'd know it because that colour is definitely purple. I have 3 dolls in pure rose and my latest one doesn't match the other two so it would just be a different batch

PS I have 2 ragdoll kitties - do you have some as well?

 

whitewolf, thank you for your help, they are both purple tones but must be different batches which makes sense, one is very much purple grey and the other is more purple pink. i dont mind the difference as it makes them individual to each other. wow i love ragdolls, i used to have a ragdoll kitty but he died a few years back due to old age and i didnt get another cat instead i went for a shar pei. they are wonderful cats though and very beautiful, mine was what they called pink and he was lovely.
