The small angel should not tease the big angel too much - he might just awaken and reply. (20 photos.) . . . . (...cont'd...)
. . (...cont'd...) . Still friends, after all that! . . Vallant is Kanadoll Mars, hybrided on Doll Family-H 65cm boy. The anpiel is Dream Valley Achelous human, B4-04 (51cm tall). If pictures are broken, please see the whole photostory (which contains a few more in-between shots) on my doll blog. Thank you for viewing!
Fantastic photos! Really showed movement and so perfectly. Well done, and love the story and the outfits. So beautiful.
My boy Val caught that tiny gooblet! Good!! You did an amazing job posing them!! I don't know how you're able to get any of these without stands! The turning one is so good I agree with taking 3 angles of it. My favorite is Val about to pounce. That was one heck of a jump!
Thanks @animemom @dm_sof for the comments, I'm glad the story was easy to follow. ^^ Thanks @nyaaain - I was using this photoshoot to explore what poses the anpiel and Vallant could do... and I also can't believe they managed to do all this. BJD bodies have so much potential! I'm eager to push them further and see how much more they can do.
I already commented on Instagram, but I must say it again - the posing is AMAZING! Great pictures, they really show the movement. Both dolls have gorgeous styling.
@Sianserais @daeki Thank you very much! I'm just as amazed at how expressive and dynamic BJDs can be. I find it fun to pose them and then figure out how to take photos with good composition. I'm glad you both enjoyed.
Expressive and dynamic indeed! Really enjoyable photos. I also like the style of your dolls and the contrast between the two.
I love this, they're so cute together! I really like the inter-scale thing, I'm planning something similar with my dolls. XD
Thanks everyone for the kind comments ^^ @industrious.jenn I don't buy 1/4 dolls, but really wanted DV Achelous and made an exception for it. I took a chance with DV's 51cm body and it succeeded - it's tall enough to fit in with my 1/3 dolls (all 58-65cm) and somehow the proportions/maturity age worked out. Put different scales/heights together and let the dolls interact normally, and not treat the proportion difference as unusual... that might work too?
50 ish cm dolls are sooo awesome, I've always wanted one. XD I think they're so great for pairing with msds and sds alike, especially if you want a height difference. Now me, I'm being wild and planning to pair a 46cm Souldoll with my 68cm Loongsoul. I'm not sure how it'll turn out, but their heads are actually similar in size, so I'm thinking in photos you won't be able to tell so much.
