I'm loving all the boy spam! I have decided on Byurl & Ruki! Don't want Cat Ruki because he looks too much like a girl but hopefully in a future new release or basics. Thank you everyone who posted photos.

 

Here is a pic of my vampire cuties for Halloween.They are vampires and so they don't need costumes. lol
It shows my open-eyed Lami with an upward glance.

 

Matera, I thought tan HK Miel looked pretty much like a boy. Mystic Lami could be a boy I think. I think a yellow could look more like a boy if they had the sp body too. Taller.

 

I am loving all the lati Spam. You all have such nice families and it's nice to see some boys!

Are you all sick of me asking questions yet? I just hope my questions help other new people too. I have tried to make a wig cap out of a latex glove and I have failed miserably. It kept popping off or breaking. I might need a stronger glove??? Then I tried lining the wig with masking tape and and it made the wig too tight. any other suggestions?

Also Do you know where I can buy eyelashes for my Lea. I screwed one up and I was going to put it on and I threw it away by mistake. I am not sure what size to by too. I looked on the Lati site and they are sold out.

My poor Lati's are going to run away from home if I don't start treating then better.

kate2kate, you can always try some human false eyelashes and cut them down, they have the sticky strip so you wouldnt need glue...

Ask away, that's how we learn. The above are eyelashes like Latis, the seller has more colors. You may need to trim the sides for
them to fit but they are the same lashes.

I will order a pair of the eyelashes and try them too.The wigs are they a 5 or 6? I know for wigs they are usually a 5/6 but not sure which they are closer too.
Love the olympic pictures they look so cute with the flags.

 

Lea's would be closer to a 6 I'd believe. You can always take a fabric measuring tape and measure your doll's head. It's unfortunate Lea has one of the biggest heads. Ruki must too, I never measured or really compared, but I have a Ruki sorcerer/magician wig and it swims on Lumi :3

I'm loving all the boy spam too. Byurl looks amazing as a boy! I took some Halloween photos so hopefully I'll be able to show one tomorrow.

kate2kate, my only suggestion would be to just take Lea's wig off at night or when you put her away? The 3 latis I have out that have been keeping their wigs on are wearing mohair and fur wigs.

 

Matera - my vote for a Lati boy is Ruki! n__n

Amanohara, I think grown up belle has the biggest head.
Kate, I buy size 5-6 monique wigs from Marcia at Facets. She's great about answering questions. She also sells silicone wig caps. She has tons of styles and colors if you are looking for hair like wigs. Here's Lea in one of her wigs, it's a perfect fit.

Should i order Halloween Miel & Kuroo without the mark?

 

If I were you, I would order him without the marks. I feel like there's too much of a risk of Lati screwing up the marks and that six dots is a lot (I would prefer him with only three under one eye). But that's just my opinion. Good luck with whatever you decide!

 

You could ask them perhaps to put 3 under their left eye? I actually really like the marks, they've done enough dots not to mess up. Chances are they'd not even come with marks, worst case! I think it makes them unique and agree they remind me of the FG face-ups.

Matera -- thank you! I know what you mean, I'm still waiting for the right specials of these molds to come along: Cookie, Benny, Momo and Kuroo. I don't think I'm gonna order Mummy Kuroo even tho I adore her and will probably regret later!

PrincessStarburst -- Aww, thank you! I was completely oblivious too and really sad I missed out on some great dolls like the sugar/choco miel and lea, first vamps and winter tans but we're here now and I see you have a Mystic Lea and Pirate Belle on the way so that's awesome!!

I find that it's more a cut-and-paste operation with latex gloves. Cutting off a finger works really well for a Lati White, not so much for a Lati Yellow. I actually use the palm part of the glove and tape it down with some double-sided tape. Occasionally, you will have to cut out some darts to make it fit properly, but with a little patience, you can get it to work. I use this method for all my Lati Yellows, works like a charm!

 

Great tip about the latex glove, taping it down.

Keiko - Glad for the Lati information. It is a disappointment when they said they would start shipping in Oct., still, it is more realistic for the middle of November to start the HK shipping. Now that I ordered two this time, I will have to wait longer I would guess. Your photo is cute with Toy Story woodie. Sheep Lea is so cute.
Don't get me started on those cute Halloween kids again! Oh, Miel and Kuroo are so cute. I think I would go for no marks.

I am really glad Matera, that I reminded you about the HK Miel's. I can't wait to see them. I guess they start to ship in the middle of November now.

 

I always look at others Monique wigs for sale just to see what they look like but I buy direct from Monique because they ship fast & always have what I want in stock. I hate having to wait for a wig to be ordered first if its not in stock.
So no Vampires until mid November, no shock there. I'm sure they are working on them now & they must have thousands to make!

Last Night (Saturday evening) There were heaps of people out and about in their Halloween costumes. I guess there must have been a lot of parties going on. One man was dressed from head to toe in a skeleton outfit. It would have been cool except he was so overweight it just looked funny! I have never seen such a fat skeleton in all my life!!!! I had to stop myself from grinning when he walked past me.......it was hard!

 

Wow! Awesome Halloween costumes you guys! I can't wait to see the trick or treaters tomorrow night! We are armed with lots of candy, love those snickers bars!

How do you guys deal with the "Your password verification do not match" on the Lati Q&A board? It's really, really annoying, and I think it's unnecessary since it's just a Q&A board. How do you get answers to your questions?

Also, what's the normal wait time between the day the order is made and the day the first email from Lati?

original q/a number so Lati could look it up. I also asked them to please email their response just in case
I couldn't open up the q/a again. Make sure to put your email addy in your post.

Dollightful, I thought I could live without a Halloween Lati - I'm still waiting on Vamps and Tan Teru. But I just love little pumpkin Lumi, so I joined a split for her sans costume. Now I am wondering if I should order Coco too. They would make such cute pumpkin sisters.....

I am very excited that Halloween is catching on in my neighbourhood. Last night we dressed up the kids and went Trick or Treating. It was such fun!!! (We all ate too much candy tho).

 

Yey we just got some new shoes from America, the seller won't sell them too me (she seems to hate foreigners and wouldn't even consider it when I was IN America!) so my friend has kindly shipped them to us. I'm having a lot of fun matching wigs and outfits to each pair Could be busy for some time!!

 

Gantaneo: Those shoes are the cutest!! Sigh, it's a pain with sellers who don't ship internationally....

You're right, especially when the stuff they sell is really nice! I do think it's daft but this seller is absolutely set and won't sell to anyone with a foreign paypal account, even though as far as I'm aware she's still covered if anything goes wrong??

I love how different Teddie looks to my girl Rum: she seems more pale I think Sweetie Ballerina! Soon I will have a big box of ballerina bun wigs arriving, can't wait to make Ballet girls myself!



Ah well... Max has 'told' me (by falling over constantly) that she will no longer be seen in the yellow tinkerbelle wig, so for now she's in this blud pixie style: how fortunate we now have shoes to match this one too

I'm loving all of the photo spam at the moment - totally in love with how different Pirate Lea looks in everyone's photos.

My gift bag finally arrived today and wasn't too bad. No limited wigs for me even though I ordered right at the start but had thought that might happen. I did receive the bambi outfit thought, which is not something I'd buy but is ever so cute, other bits and two sweet black wigs which will be great for vampire Miel when she arrives. Will attempt to take a photo when my camera has charged at some point.

We were away all weekend so no halloween pics but thanks to everyone who shared theirs, there were some gorgeous photos in there.

so much cute Halloween spam! i had such a busy weekend! i worked Friday, Saturday, and Sunday plus we managed to get to the local farm and do a corn maze, feed the animals, and pick pumpkins then carve them and bake pumpkin seeds. and of course trick-or-treating for the kids (the real ones).

i love that your wigs match all the shoes Gantaeno. that sucks about the US seller. i guess i can understand it (for anyone in any country that doesn't want to ship internationally) but it sure is a pain. i'm buying a lot for my pals in Australia for that

Just a little query from a Lati Yellow fan who has never ordered during an event before. Is it normal for Lati to sell out of certain dolls before the end of the event or do they restock the site like Soom do when their events go mental? I was going to order a Halloween Lea fullset but she is marked is sold out.

 

Don't worry; this happened last time with Pirate Lea. She is not really sold out ... it's just that Lati puts up the dolls in a specific quantity (I believe it's 50) before you can't put any in the cart anymore. They just need to just manually refresh that quantity and then you should be able to add her to your cart and everything. That's what they did last time.

 

She's not sold out sylvian, Lati will reset her numbers to be sold tonight, this same thing happened with Pirate Lea.
They should just put an extremely high number on each doll to be sold so they don't make people think they are sold out.
Hang in there, she'll be for sale again as soon as they open for business.

I buy from that Seller Gantaeno, she's the nicest lady but may have had a very bad experience shipping overseas & that's why she no longer ships there. She has wonderful shoes for Riley Kish that fit the Lati yellows, just got an order from her today of loafers in colors I didn't have. Its good that you have friends who buy & ship them to you, it all works out in the end when we have wonderful friends. I love the metallic ones, will have to buy some soon.

 

Thanks for your speedy responses Ladies! I was hoping that was the case, that being my experience with Soom too. I will just have to check again tomorrow or the day after. I have been massively lurking in this thread for months now. You guys and all your pretty pictures have been instrumental in "helping" me to make two lovely Lati purchases from the MP so I m quite excited about actually ordering from Lati them selves.

hiya all! i haven't been around for awhile.. been super busy, and only one of my latis is with me at the moment. T.T i'm not sure that capri is used to be an only lati. everyone's girls (and boys!) are looking great! ((: i was just wondering.. the pukifees are always having awesome swaps.. why aren't there any for latis? just an errant thought, don't hate me! ^.^

will catch up with photos when my girl laches gets home.. should be anytime now, can't wait!
