Here is my Lati HK Elf Lea - I'm calling her Emmaline for now.

Maddy: Oh, I love your SP Momo. Is he tan? There is something about the Tan Momo's that came out last year/year before last that are just so darn cute. His new sweater set looks like he's going hiking.

Well, my 2 "Boys Over Flowers" uniforms arrived today. I must say, the little dresses were quite fiddly to put on (or is it just my fumble fingers?).
But here are Lisbeth and Bianca, ready for "going back to school", and not looking too keen!

It is still winter here in Australia, or I should say "winter" as, here in Western Australia, we still have up to 20C in the middle of the day. Still, a good excuse to wear (and knit) winter woolies?

 

hey guys, I ordered one of the unicorn Latis when they were up for sale, anybody know when they are expected to ship?

 

Marloes: ha ha ha , I've been there. I think I started collecting little Lati Yellow outfits about six months before I even had one

Maddy: Oh you got the school uniforms. How cute. They might not want to go back to school, but they look great. I like dressing them in winter outfits. I try to actually keep all of the dolls, SD's and everyone else in weather appropriate wear, how goofy is that, but it just makes them more part of the family. I've got so many cute winter outfits for the Yellows right now and it's driving me nuts to not put them in them yet. LOL

Jolarocknrolla: Oh can't wait to see your unicorn. I would think they would be shipping kind of soon, right?

Maddy, I love the new outfits! Rubyredgalleria is nearly as addictive a shopping site for me as lati is! I love the box of little crayons on the table! Do you have a dolls house? Hmm , I know what you mean about "winter" weather. It is 30 degrees here today!

Meguone, I wondered whether most latis were dressed weather-appropriately. When I got Polly it was quite cold here and I felt so sorry for her without any warm clothes that I went quite silly buying things. Though now we are entering spring, she will be able to wear more little dresses etc. So I suppose over the other side of the world all the little latis are getting ready to cosy-up in woollens!

susan402, I noticed you have changed your signature. Funny!!! (though really you should be proud and boastful)!

 

I agree, susan, about the addictions that come with the dolly territory: not just the dolls, but wigs... shoes... outfits... and last but not least, Rement!

That dollhouse is so full of Epic Win that I totally just said "Wow" out loud!

 

susanp919: LOL, even my big dolls, have outfits for spring/summer/autumn/winter. It's nuts but I love it. It's still a little warm here, but yeah, I'm itching to get my Pearl especially into some hoodies and Halloween outfits

Maddy: LOVE, LOVE, your house. Perfection. Rement is so wonderful and so addicting. I've got full (10 sets) boxes sitting just waiting for me to open eventually, aaaggghh.

Hmmm...ya think? I'll try to be more positive. I was supposed to get THREE secondhand dolls this week. One package got misdirected but after a quick panic I was able to get my hands on it. I just missed the second one and had to go after it too. The third one seems to be quite lost and I'm VERY concerned. So now I think I'm being punished for my excesses.

On the upside, my daughter and I just had a ton of fun playing with the dollies. Apparently, wigs popping off and dolls groping for fallen headcaps (which she refers to as "brains") is hilarious to a 5yo.

I probably don't have anything to worry about since I ordered multiple dolls at the very end of the ordering period, but I am so not ready for shipping yet. I know, it's like sacrilegious to say that, right? I had such plans to actually have stuff ready for them this time and I've got so much else in the way I'm really not there yet.

 

VERY COOL. I ordered on June 29th, but with special make up for both. Can't wait for everyones to come home

I ordered my basic Kuroo with regular faceup on the 30th of June too, but I also ordered a little White Spec. Belle, I hope she doesn't hold the order up, because I'm off to England on the 17th September and would love to be able to take them with me!!!

Hello, everyone! I haven't been on here for a couple of months I think (since the Unicorns were coming out) - did anyone end up order the adorable Unicorn Cookie? Every time I look at her sweet face I think I should have ordered her!
printenna: I love your "Candy" - so, she is a Lumi? She is so sweet with those eyes and that wig!
And, of course, I keep looking at those Sp Yellow's - I think I may have to order one (or more) of those someday - they would make excellent big sisters for my Yellows.

 

I'm waiting for my Lea and Lumi (both Sp.), I had my 'settlement confirmation' on the 29th July so when can I expect to get my babies? I'm practically dying of anticipation here!!!

I have a predicament. So, I think Cam and Asper will be siblings and I want them to have dark auburn or red hair, but I don't know where to find anything I like (or in a style I like). Any suggestions?

 

Ah shipping noticed already? And once again I'm not ready at all for my incoming Miel. Though I think they are shipping basics first this time so I might at least have some time to whip up a dress or something. Though I may not keep my unicorn Miel... still feeling extremely guilty over her price.

 

I find I can't enjoy expensive dolls either, as I feel guilty over the price!!! If you do sell her I'm sure you'll get more than you paid for her, so you can buy a cheaper doll or two. Although I hope you do keep her, as she is very special, and get over that darned guilt

 

Yes that is the good thing about limited dolls: you can usually get more than what you paid for I'm very iffy about the giant ears on the unicorns so I may end up not liking her anyways. But the fantasy theme around them was something I couldn't resist. I'll wait and see what Lati has in the next batch of limiteds

My Basic Lumi was ordered almost as soon as possible.. so i'm hoping it won't be too long now. Is it for the Basics for sure? Or the unicorns?

My Lati yellows are showing their love for their mascot:



This plush was formally the "massage stick" I got when I received my Flower Garden Lami. I cut the stick off, added extra stuffing, and stitched up the bottom.

 

I don't think it makes a great deal of difference exactly when you order and when Lati ships. I've tried orders the minute they open at Lati, and then at the last minute before they close... and sometimes the last one arrives first! I think the limiteds are more apt to be slow, since Lati is probably waiting on special clothes or parts to arrive before they can ship. But you never can tell with Lati...

idlehen... oh, I hope you won't feel too guilty if you end up liking your unicorn Miel.

 

I wonder if you can love your second dolly as much as your first? My Lumi, Polly I so love (she cheers me up when I am feeling worried or sad, not that I have anything in particular to be worried or sad about, just having two little daughters to worry about can be enough!), can I love my incoming Miel as much? I thought this actually before I had my second daughter, I was thinking there was no way I could love her as much as my first, but then she was born, and all my worries were silly.
Anyway, here is Polly, she has a new rubyred wig, and I really adore her in it. I bought the same style in dark brown for Matilda when she comes.

 

BTW, I love all the pictures!
And I am soooo excited to hear shipping has started, though how they decide on the order is beyond me. Maybe it has to do with whether they have magnetic hands and feet or not? I know there are alot of theories!!

Susanp- I don't love all my dollies the same, but I do love them all. My first, Ciara, is my admitted favorite. Another thing I love is Lati shipping theories. And what I really love today is the wig Polly is modelling. I'm totally eyeballing it for my incoming Miel. Does it take long to get things from RRG? I need two Yellow wigs before my order comes in.

(Slightly OT: I also need a Green wig. Are any of the RRG wigs size 6/7?)

Dillon's hair is Leeke Brown(12). It's a warm, medium brown. (This is the only pic I have right now. Anyone know if any of the RRG wig colors are close to this? I like all my siblings to have the same hair color. Is that odd?

I'm looking at this wig for one of the boys, but what I really want is this one, but it doesn't seem to come in a good color for us. Unless their medium brown is actually lighter than it seems which would be really really great.

Anyone have RRG wigs in medium brown?

 

Mouse is really cute!!! I am still waiting on shipping notice on Kuroo and I hope she escapes customs too as I'm thinking I might have to sell her when she's here and I really don't want to have to pay extra customs on her. Mixture of the wait has been so long I've kind of lost interest (I know that's bad isn't it) and also my washer/drier has broken so I need to free up some money It's her or my Lati Green (or maybe both?), Coco is in hiding as we speak as she doesn't want to go

susan...I think mine is medium brown...I remember how surprised I was when it arrived because it was so dark! I cut the back off too...I think it is great boy wig though...kind of ruffled hair!
