Because everyone wants to be like the Puki People *wink*

I love the Lati White Sp...but otherwise the Lati look like they're heads are too big...i do use their wigs and hats for my PpoPpo.

I can't wait to look at all the wonderful pictures that are going to crop up here!

 

Oooo this is going to feed my new obsession, as I look at my existing dolls and think who I can sacrifice for a Lati Yellow I love how their heads are toddler-ish and a bit too big for their bodies, my son's head was always oversized for his body - soooo cute

Off to plot my sacrifices....

I'm subscribed also. I love Lati, they are the culprits who got me into BJD's. I almost bought a basic in their last cycle but I stopped at the price. I just wasn't used to the BJD price range.

So now I'm all saved up and I'm waiting for the doors to open. I've always loved Lumi and when I see a group shot I always gravitate towards her before I even realise it is her. haha

I'm also going to get a Green Lea to be her big brother.

Lati was the first BJD I stumbled over, and I would have ordered a yellow sp. Byurl right from the start, if they were not sold out. Looking forward to a lot of Yellow spam!

I have a lati yellow rabbit version cookie named Imogen, she's my favorite doll right now. I plan to buy her a friend this restock, but I haven't decided on whether it'll be a basic or a special this time.......

I'm going to use the premium makeup service, I know what look I want just trying to figure out how to get it. No I would be too scared to do the entire thing myself. I feel safer adding to a faceup like some blush or a little eyeshadow. I think the Lati faceups are beautiful.

What would be really helpful is if we had a sort of Lati faceup data base so we can see what those colours listed in the premium service actually look like on the doll. The brows/lashes are more easily chosen but I could sure use some help with the lip and blush colour. I don't want her to look too pale because the camera washes it away. I want a sort of Edwardian period look, Lumi will have black hair and blue eyes. I love that natural sort of red lip and cheek.

Then how do I get Lea looking like a boy? I was thinking black hair and grey eyes so probably like Lumi I'll get grey eyebrows and lashes. But then lips?

Lati are addictive. I bought one a couple years ago, and somehow now have three. And then Fairyland got me, and.... well, you get the picture!

Well Randomfish I guess there's no hope for me then! I just paid for an NS Ante from the MP and I'm hoping to get 2 Lati's when they reopen. My Puki is still stuck at Fairyland. She needs to come to Aussieland instead. *nods*

I agree that these little Latis are addictive. I only thought I would need one Lati yellow, and I now have 4 Yellows (plus waiting for 1), 1 Yellow SP, 1 White and 1 White SP!!!

Hello Moonbeam - I'd like to add that I too hold you partly responsible for my current sales of half of my dolls to fund a Lati Yellow. I've loved your photos on flickr and adore Tommy

Mimisstuff and I met up on Saturday and both of us were sadly squeeing over the prospect of getting a Lati (and can you believe a woman asked us if our dolls were the 'new Barbie'?) Mind you we were in the cafe of John Lewis at the time with all our dolls laid out on the table

Anyway, I am madly saving for a Lati Yellow

Love them all, cant say who I prefer! And very tempted to add more at the next ordering period? I keep telling myself that 8 is such a good number...

Same for me....I only ever wanted one Lati (a tan Miel was my first love....). Then of course they all came rushing through the door. What can I say, they all wanted to be adopted by me
I have adopted some out and am now back to three, but....I am not sure I'll be able to keep it at this....Lati has the tendency to make me really want another one

There has just been put a new picture up on lati....I am tempted by Miel and Lea, but I really should not buy anything now I don't have a Miel open eyes yet, but I am a big fan of Lea, so I might have to go for her....But....there's no Benny!!! I really, really wanted a tan Benny and I do think they are tan judging from this new picture... Why Lati, why no Benny???

 

The little garden elf Miel is terribly adorable. I can't get him, but I want to!! LOL I can't wait to see the pictures of the Greens, too!

I'm loving all the wonderful photos everyone... please keep them coming!!! I'll post a photo of my two new babies here, my first Latis. I'm already scheming which dolls will be re-homed so I can concentrate a little more on my Latis, I'm hopelessly hooked.

I will finally have (with luck) my tanned Coco now, with the flower garden series. I'm trying to decide whether I want Miel too, or Lami. I really want Lami in tan, but I'm not really keen on her clothes so much and the purple thing going on. I wanted a tan Miel with human ears and although I've had no trouble modifying Lati elf ears to human ears, I don't think I want to try that with a tan. So not sure about little Miel, although I adore that sculpt.

New dolls- i am really curious about the gloomy garden lati white dolls...

winternight- do you think we might be able to order the dolls without the clothes like the prayer of angel dolls?

 

Pardon me for butting in but yes you can order them naked, it shows on each doll's page that the clothes and slippers are extra options you can tick. Or not tick

 

MOP is right, bluehaiku, you can buy it all a la carte, but the wig and face-up will be included unless you get a basic. I love your Pury, what have you her named her?

I love Cookie's outfit and slippers, soooo tempting, but I wasn't planning on getting Cookie yet... it's pretty sad when you consider getting a doll just because she has the cutest bunny slippers *ever*.

I don't have a Lati yet. (hope I don't get booted from this thread!) In fact, I don't have any BJDs yet. I fell in love with Latis last year when I started to get interested in dolls and the beautiful Lati dolls just captured my heart there and then.

I've looked at other Tiny BJDs from various companies but so far, I find the Latis rather intriguing. Am hoping to buy my first one very soon, but the waiting time sure looks like agony!

My two Lati Yellows, Georgia (Lami) and Daisy (Pury). Initially, I didn't care for the Yellow size, the larger head made me apprehensive. Then Georgia came up for sale at an incredible price, so I took a gamble, and I'm so happy I did.



Daisy's faceup/wig/outfit is default, Georgia is wearing Masterpiece eyes in Royal Eclipse, a Monique wig and a Tinybear dress, headpiece by moi.

 

I've actually found that out about many a tiny...they don't like being by themselves.

I'm not sure who did Georgia's faceup, as she was second hand from Elaine at Poshdolls, but I don't think it is her default. I do love it, though.

Hi Miriam, that's so exciting that you have a Miel coming! I do too, now. I ordered her tonight... had a miserable day, the neighbor's dog killed all of my beloved pet chickens but two. So I'm drowning myself in Lati therapy with my recycled doll money. Now my day is getting a bit better!

clochette your girls are so cute in their whites. Georgia's eyes are so pretty, I love that color from MP.

When I first saw the Yellows I thought I'm definitely safe from getting the big head dolls. Now I love them... I'm not sure what happened! Tiny magic, I guess...

May I ask if anyone knows how to remove the lati head without unstringing the doll? >.<

Lami (which is going to be sold to a friend of mine)
Coco ltd vampire version
Momo elf hk version

I'm looking for miel vampire version, unfortunately I couldn't afford him when they came out, I had to chose between him and coco ç__ç
Now I'm really tempted by Miel flower garden....Argh! Why there are so many cute dolls out there? TT___TT

 

I had the exact same experience. I think it was just too hard for me to see the appeal until I actually saw one in person. It doesn't hurt that Lati has such adorable face scupts

 

oCb, if you're talking about the Yellows, it's a cinch to remove the head, no re-stringing necessary. Inside the head is a ring, turn it so it is in line with the opening and the head releases. I don't know about the other Lati lines as I don't have them.

aww Winternight, I am so sorry to hear about your chickens :*( it's just terrible. But on a happier note am excited for your TAN COCO. Omg! A tan Coco is the very FIRST yellow that I fell in love with. I didn't think there would be tans coming out so soon, so I rushed and got a natural skin basic Coco back on the Dec 19th release. I LOVE her sweet face...but it's pictures like this that make me kick myself in the bum for not waiting :
