there are no Lati Whites on the MP to my knowledge right now but they crop up from time to time. Careful though - buying and selling isn't allowed in any place but the MP. General stuff or talking about ordering from companies is ok. Keep posting though, you have to be on thirty days and have thirty posts I believe to have Marketplace access. You can sometimes find these dolls for sale on Flickr too. Are you on Flickr?

I have been collecting only about three years but I would be happy to answer any of your questions that I can. It is enjoyable talking with other people who love dolls!

 

We love tiny dolls in this thread. Lati Whites are the smallest I've see for BDJ's. The first dolls I feel in love with were my daughters YoSD. SHe had several bigger that have grown on since then. But I'm drawn to the tiny's. My Lati White Pury is probably my favorite doll and it shows. SHe has more clothes! Of course she is a lot harder to make clothes for also. I'm trying to figure out how to knit or crochet booties for her. Haven't gotten brave enough to knit thread yet.

 

Please I would like to know if someone use a silicone cap underneath the wig for head protection ? What do you think about it ?

 

I don't, their head is so tiny I use some tacky glue to stick the wig on.

 

Glue ??? And when you must remove the wig ? How can you do ? Sorry for questions but I'm a novice on bjd : )

Hi Minigrace! How are you ? Have you try another wig for your Belle ? : )

 

I use 'tacky glue' like this one http://www.cottonpatch.co.uk/acatalog/Aleene-s-Original-Tacky-Glue---118ml-Bottle-10839.html and put a small bit on the head and then fix the wig to it. It peels off without any problem and doesn't damage the doll. On bigger dolls I use wig caps.

 

i am great - how are you? I have tried some new wigs lately. This Belle has been a redhead since I first got her so I tried her as a blonde. What do you think?

Hi, mag10it! Thank you! No, I have not changed her eyes. These are the same but it is easy. They are put in with eye putty or you can use silicone earplugs - they work great. For denim pants and other clothes, try etsy.com. If you do a search for "puki puki" or "Lati white" you will find lots of clothes. I have bought denim pants and denim overalls there.

Oh I just can not imagine how to use silicone ear plugs, I have to learn everything !

chinadoll I agree with you, loving them a lot :-)

 

It is not hard. I usually break the earplug in half, smooth it around a little, then stick the eye on top of it. Put the eye in the doll's head, maneuver it around until it looks right, then gently press the silicone earplug against the inside of the head to hold them in place.

I was playing tonight and put an entirely different wig on little Belle. I think I like it!

What types of toys you used for your LWSP?
Somebody use Hallmark ? In this case what is the right measure? Ornaments or standard type ?

Do you mean the Kiddie Car Classics? If so, I think it is the ornament size you need.

 

Minigrace yes I meant the ones, you are a great source of information :-)
So I can not find the red velocipede in ornaments, in other size ( maybe right for Pukifee or Lati Yellow ) I found a lot.
Do you know where I can find tiny rag dolls toy for LW sp ?
Another thing please: I asked to moderators members but nobody answered :-( do you think I ccould open a thread "WTB..." on MP ?

mag10it - if you have access to the MP then try opening your thread, but you're not allowed really to discuss such matters in discussion threads. For small dolls or toys, check out dollshouse size toys, search for 1/12th scale or 1" scale on etsy and ebay.

I sent Pury to have a custom face up and body blushing with freckles and I got her back today. I saw a picture of a baby with a strand of pearls and thought I would try it with a doll.

 

Very pretty picture. I love all the freckles. They are so cute on her.

Thank you, DesertMountain Bear and Mary-lee! I love the Lati White SP's. I have a new girl who just arrived back from having her face redone. I sent her straight out when I got her so I am happy to have her back. She is a Bayer.

thank you! I am very happy with her . Her faceup was done by Chai Aesthetics. She has a listing in the MP and her DOA name is Distractus. This is my favorite size doll. I think they are the cutest size too!

Thank you! I love the proportions too and Lati's have the prettiest bodies to me. I love that cute little belly button. . I have been lucky to find them second hand. I have Belle, Cherny, Pury, Laches and now Bayer. Cherny is still out to Viridian House for a new face. I had a Mystic Bayer but never really bonded with her so I let her go.

I saw some LW sp who wear nice shoes from strawberry shortcake dolls, where could I find these shoes please ? Do you think LW sp could fit also strawberry's dress ? I think she is smaller...

mag10it: The shoes you are thinking of are from the Bandai Strawberry Shortcake release. The older and new strawberry shortcake shoes do NOT fit, so make sure you ensure you are looking at the right ones
You can find them on ebay - sometime people list them by themselves, and sometimes you can get a better deal by buying the whole doll that comes with the shoes. They are getting harder and harder to find, but are so cute. They are too loose to wear with bare feet, but are good with socks and stockings.

The other kind of plastic shoe that I have found fit well with socks are from the Heart Family Baby doll. They come in black most commonly, and I have seen white ones around too. This is what they look like:

Hi, everybody, it is quiet on this thread! Lots of chatter on the basic white thread because of the Peter Pan release. I did order Sofie in normal skin but my plans are to mod her head and get a puki body for her since Lati still hasn't 't offered the SP body. In the meanwhile I have been playing this morning with little Bayer and here is her picture.
