I did make them with the help of my mum a while ago now, Jónsi's is actually for my pukifee but its elasticized at the back so it can fit them both.

Has anyone heard anything about when the lati whites might be available again? I keep. Looking but it only says preparing restock.

 

I asked and Lati said not this year.... They seem to have shelved that size in favour of Lati Yellows which is such a shame. They did mention something about redesigning the body but it would be next year. But who knows, Lati often say one thing and do the other!

 

So sad I so hoped Lati would release a Belle in tan skin this year. She would be my LY Belle's little sister.

 

I know, I want a small Belle too. Fingers crossed for a restock/release 2014

 

Actually I love my white size. I have one and was thinking about getting another one. I didn't know they weren't planning to do them at all this year!

 

Maybe we should co-ordinate a request attack, if enough people ask maybe they'll rethink? I just think their money earner is Lati Yellow and it's probably not cost effective to do the whites.

 

I like this size too. I have two Belles and an extra body. I would love to have a Cherny - I think she is so cute!

 

Hello everyone! I am new to this thread and I was hoping to adopt a Lati white sp belle but looks like Lati isn't planning on releasing them any time soon or not ever? I am always so confused with Lati responses.

I understand that they may not want to make any special releases because maybe not enough people are interested in this size to justify a whole new release and they are doing so well with their yellow line but will they not release the basic whites at all? That doesn't make much sense...The basic order is open now but the white still says preparing restock and even the parts are not for sale. I was thinking of getting just a head maybe.

 

Try asking Lati to restock the white sp, the more of us that do the more likely they are to. I'm not sure you can order just a head? When I asked they seemed to say they weren't restocking any. There were one or two Belles in the MP recently if you don't mind buying pre-loved you can usually find one.

 

Yes, I was going to ask them. But honestly, I think I'd prefer to get a pre-loved doll. Ordering directly from Lati is a little stressful to me with the wait times and the quality. I love their dolls and want to support them as a company but they don't have the best customer service and are always intentionally vague with their responses. I read somewhere that lati white and lati white sp have different neck size, is that right?

 

Sorry, I'm not sure about the head size as I've never had a non-sp one but I do know the Sp heads fit on Pukipuki bodies well. But you don't get the cute tummy button with them (but they pose so much better than the Lati body). My Belle is on her own body, the cuteness outweighs the posability for me

 

Yes, I also prefer the proportions of Lati body better I was actually thinking of putting the Lati head on a realpuki body to see if it fits I think it may look a bit strange but I'd like to see. And I was thinking that if the neck hole on the basic white head is smaller than on the Sp one then it should fit realpuki. Unfortunately, I don't have either one at the moment but I will keep looking I just love little Belle so much!

 

Lilliput the white doll head are the same for the white and the white Sp. It is just that the body is basically a taller body. The same with the Lati Yellows. They have regular and then SP which have taller bodies. It really depends on what you like. I don't have an SP doll in either. But I've seen them around at meets.

Edit there is a picture above here that has both of the White dolls.

Edit please disregard this information. I've been told that the White sizes have different heads. (This is different than the Yellow line which are the same.)

 

rosebud and Lilliput The heads are different between the white and the white SP (unlike the yellows where they're exactly the same). While they look the same there is a difference in the neck hole size - you can't swap heads between an SP and a regular lati white. The regular lati white has a neck measuring 2.2cm and a lati white SP's neck measures 2.9cm. 5mm may not sound like much but it makes a significant difference when you're talkinga bout such a tiny doll.

The pukipuki neck is 2.9cm which is why lati white sps crossover so well. The realpuki neck is 1.9cm so I think you'd need a basic white to make it work. I know when I ordered just a head from lati they sent me a white sp head.

I'm still waiting for lati to do more tan white specials....one day they might. I even told them how much they sell for on the secondary market hoping that would prove that people really want them.

I'm pleased you replied, Honeythorpe, as I thought I'd heard that but wasn't sure and didn't want to state it like I knew!

I don't understand why they don't just throw a Lati White Sp in with a limited collection, they seem to be able to come up with new sculpts continually in the LY but not the LW. Saying that I have one LWSp Belle, wouldn't really want any of the other existing sculpts but I would like a small LW Belle

I looked on Lati website and it looks like they only offer Lati SP heads in parts section but it looks like they are not selling any white line dolls this order period. I am really hoping to find an older white Belle in the tiny size!

I think that maybe Lati don't want to offer smaller dolls because they cost less than lati yellow but they require just as much work for them to make. I understand that from a pure business perspective. I sculpt dogs and when people ask for a smaller size sculpture for less money it really doesn't mean that it is cheaper for me to make. It takes just as much time to sculpt, if not longer, because it's harder to work small since every little imperfection shows up on a smaller scale >_<

I do hope they will sell white dolls soon for those of us looking to adopt one or two though

I think Lati makes the most beautiful dolls! I wish they would make some more available. They are so hard to find on the MP. I really would love a Cherny to complete my LW family.

Thanks, MarshMellina! I also lucked up and found a tan Laches on the MP week before last. He needs a little cleanup and his face up is damaged so not photo ready yet but he is adorable!

 

I worked on Laches a bit this morning and here he is, minus his shirt which I cannot seem to find!

Yay!!! Someone mentioned it on the Lati Yellow thread. I am really excited! Oh, I hope they still make Cherny!

 

I hope that they make them in tan for a special event...but only if they don't cost as lati yellows! :P

 

Hey, guys, just looked on the LAti website and they are showing the SP bodies as either girl or boy with the word new flashing beside them. Not available yet but weren't the SP bodies gender neutral before??

 

No the Sp size bodies are boys or girls, the basic white and basic yellow are gender neutral

 

Oh, heck, I knew that but I forgot! My Laches SP has boy bits. Oh, well, I am still excited about the LW becoming available again.

I've ordered the new Belle in tan. Have a long wait ahead, lol. I originally planned on ordering just tan haru, but teeny tan belle looks like the perfect younger sibling.

 

Yes I'm buying her in tan. I waited 7 months for my Olympus doll (and other people are still waiting) so I got 50 points as compensation, worth $50, so I could resist ordering her, despite me swearing off ordering again until Lati catch up production times. I asked if we could request no white dots on her cheeks but the answer was no, so I shall most likely be wiping her faceup off to make her more baby like.

I don't know if I could wait so much time to have a doll...plus you never know for sure if they're making her or they have forgotten you! and if there are problems after you receive her? more waiting.. I've also heard that they're not very helpful when it comes to replace a doll, but I don't have had any experience with them so I don't know

I'm going to be doing the same. I'm not a fan of the heavy eye-liner they gave her (or the white dots or super sad eye brows). From the lati yellow thread it looks like several people are doing the same. I wish they offered an option without makeup.

 

Lati are notorious for their long wait times but you never know with them, and seven months is very long!! But they are worth the wait when they arrive.

Me too, although they never do with their limiteds, otherwise I guess they wouldn't be limited. I wish they'd offer tan as a basic option.

 

Lol sannoche that is exactly the same scenario for me I have both of them coming also, can't wait to see how different everybody's looks with wigs and clothing however I hope the wait time gets better

 

My little Cherny finally arrived and I am thrilled with her! Not sure about wig and eye color yet, but I put her together enough to get a photo anyway. The dress is new from Spampy too.

oooooh my, have you seen the new lati white face? it's haru! haru in white size! I can't believe it, I already love her in yellow, but now I need this size too >__< I don't understand though if she/he is available only for the event... if you haven't seen yet they made a chocolate event: basic haru in white, tan and dark tan... I LVE the dark chocolate!! and you can even choose if you don't want the "tattoo" they have on the face, I would personally choose her without (specially because it's a blue tattoo on the dark tan...if it was brown)
