Auntbear, thank you! You know what, Lati inspired me to make me this gingerbread outfit! I never made Christmas outfits before, but after seeing gingerbread Benny I had to make some Christmas outfits for my smallest dolls and also to bake honey cakes for the first time in my life! Everything turned out so well that I will do all that again next year before Christmas

 

Which eye size would you all recommend for Lati Whites, especially T. Haru?

 

Aubergine Girl, I would recommend 8mm eyes. 8mm Glib acrylic eyes are probably the best fit for LW Belle and they also fit well LW Haru. Belle can also wear 6mm glass eyes from Joliedoll. These 6mm eyes are definitely too small for LW Haru (the gaps are really big) and I am afraid other 6mm eyes might be too small too.

Hi, I'm planning to order a Lati white when ordering is open, but I have a question about one of the options and am hoping someone here can explain (I've never ordered from them before and some things are a little confusing, I wish I could just order through a US distributor!). Anyway, it says "W Forehead Straight" - Do any of you know what that means or have a picture I can see?

Hi everyone! So enjoying your photos of your tiny cuties! I hope you don't mind a "Lati Newbie" asking another question lol!

With this ordering period, I'm hoping to order the Sweetie Bayer, which from what I can tell is offered in normal and tan. The tan though, at least to me, doesn't look very tan. Is that correct, or is it just my phone/computer? It's not a bad thing, I actually like the color very much, I just want to know if what I'm seeing is accurate.

Also, if they really are this lovely shade of light tan.......have any of you had this color of Lati before? Could you post pictures maybe beside a normal resin doll?

The last question is how does this color hold up? I've seen so many pictures of darker tan dolls where their heel color wears away and then looks way lighter, or they have light patches from seam removal, etc. .......do you think this lighter version of tan would have the same problems?

Roni, to me this light tan almost looks more like normal skin. Lati's normal skin is very pale, though the shade of it has changed several times lately. And the quality of the light tan is very good in my opinion. I have two this color, though different sizes, and they have none of the faults you mention. I am posting a photo of my White SP for comparison as I only have one Lati White Basic. I. Order from left to right, NS, NS on a Puki body, white skin and light tan. Hope this helps.

Question is the head size the same between Lati white and Lati white sp? Like the yellows are? Are they interchangeable?

 

Here is a picture of a tan Belle, I think this is probably the same tan as they are offering now. She is next to a Fairyland Soso in white skin, but Popo is normal skin, and on the other side is a pukipuki in FL tan.

The head has been the same size but the neck hole is smaller on the Lati White. You can use the basic head on an SP body if you enlarge the neck hole.

I have gone through 4 wigs so far and FINALLY found the perfect wig for little Sprinkles today! Excuse her hand- it came loose the first time I dressed her and I have been afraid to tighten it- I don't want to mess her up! lol!

Thank you for the comments on the doll wig. Skippy, I made the wig. I make all my own wigs. It is not hard and it saves me a lot of money and aggravation.

 

hi all! I'm glad to be here and see your tiny ones I just got my first lati white, a chocola fairy Haru (light tan) and I'm waiting for a tan sweetie Bayer... I was waiting for Cherny to be released in one of the special editions but it looks like I'll have to get her as normal... btw lati told me that they're thinking of re-open the basic's order at the end of january, I still hope that they'll make LWSP

Gosh, So much activity since my computer died. I tell you what, I nearly died with it just suffering from computer withdrawal!! Minigrace, Your Bayer is beautiful. I really think she is my favourite sculpt. Seeing that photo makes me long for the arrival of my mystic Bayer.
Nightmareally, the outfit is just perfect. I am full of admiration for anyone who can make anything so tiny! I am all thumbs and the smallest dress I attempted was for my pocket fairy. She is way bigger than a lati white!!
Desertmountainbear I am so glad that you found your little one. It must have been such a relief. For Christmas my dad bought me a lottery ticket for the 30million dollar jackpot. I must have thrown it away with the rubbish at Christmas because I couldn't find it anywhere. All I could think about was an announcement that the winner of the ticket was someone in my area and I would have to go to the council rubbish tip and start going through to find my ticket!! Thankfully the winner wasn't anywhere near me so I breathed a sigh of relief.
Spoiledshells I adore that wig! I have seen something similar for Lati Yellow but nothing so small as a Lati white. I must admit that wigs are my biggest dilemma. I swap and change all the time and never feel 100% happy with any of them. I dream of getting a Sherbet Dolly Wig one day but I am always too slow!
Sunrei.......another West Australian! what a treat!!! we are few and far between in this dolly world ;-) I love your girls wig, it really suits her and the outfit is perfect too.

Well it has been pretty hot here this week, 44 degrees on Monday..........awful! so my little Tabitha talked her big sister in to driving her to the beach. I do hope they drive safely, those bikes can travel at some speed.

Desertmountainbear, my Cherny's face up was done by Akara It sounds really convenient making wigs yourself. Can you wash mohair using human shampoo with volumiser? I only have one mohair wig, I was wondering if washing it would make it go poofy. Can it also be treated with conditioner?

I'm preparingfor dyeing my basic belle head.. The yellow ns doesn't match the brownie body I have at all, and I really want her to use this body! Luckily I have a talented artist to do her face up after and try to blush match her, so I'll only lightly dye her ^^

I believe I saw someone lightly dye their yellow lati to give her a more normal ns colour, it wasn't one of you folks was it? ?
