Latidoll White dolls Discussion part 2

The pages of Little Angel Sweeties with LW Bayer are up! I was waiting very impatiently to see them. They are still without photos, but it was interesting to know that LW Bayer will be available in four versions! We saw OE NS Bayer and tan mystic Bayer so far, but mystic NS Bayer and OE tan Bayer will be available too! I hope so much Lati will show them to us. It will be very difficult to choose. I will definitely get tan mystic Bayer but I might need OE tan Bayer too, or even NS mystic Bayer.

 

Y'know that I have dreamed of a Mystic Bayer ever since I first set eyes on Carla Benham's Apple a few years ago. Unfortunately the price went way higher than I could ever afford and I put my dream aside. For me this is the best Christmas Gift ever! I am definitely going to get a tan Mystic Bayer. I would love a ns too but I don't have that kind of money. I might get her blank and send her off for a face up . I'm not sure yet. The only thing I am not happy about is a potential eight month wait!!

 

Oh no!! OE tan Bayer!!! I need too much from this release!! I was really hoping there wouldn't be an OE tan Bayer available because I'm so tempted to get one! I'm going to have to do some MAJOR sucking up to the hubby now! LOLOL!

 

I think there's something wrong, if you add an OE head to the mystic Bayer, plus a body, you end up paying 5 dollars more?

Same thing here if you add mystic head, how come adding another doll is more expensive? Maybe the shipping fee is different?

I've been waiting for mystic Bayer for so long, I might have written to them like five or six times about it. Now I need to find money. Oh well...

I'm a bit confused about the options. What is the luna face up option of $55 ? That is confusing me.
Thank You Be-Life for confirming that the face up is part of the package. I'm just confused why the option for face up (luna) shows an added fee. Forgive me if I am sounding confused but I am!!!!

O.K I just followed the link that Be-Life gave and it doesn't mention the luna face up. I don't know what I have been looking at!!!

 

The Luna face-up is when you buy a fullset lati white (that is, with all the options, wig, dress, etc) and you qualify for the event head. Then you can add face-up, body, and outfit (for Luna).

If you buy mystic bayer, it comes with glass eyes and face-up only. What I find odd is that if you add OE head and another body for the OE head it actually costs more than buying another Bayer (with glass eyes, something the OE head won't come with if you only add to the mystic).

So, if they maintain these prices, if you want mystic bayer, she will cost 175 dollars plus shipping. If you add OE head and body, that is, another white Bayer, you pay 180 and she won't come with eyes, so it's better to buy the OE doll separately, unless adding head and body costs less on shipping.

I don't know why they didn't add Luna to the white dolls since they said that if you buy the fullset (doll, wig and "outfit") you should qualify for the winking Luna head. Maybe they will add later.

Be-Life, I was admiring that a Lati White as an option costs 5$ more too. I am sure that buying another doll as an option will save shipping costs but it should be only about 10$ extra. She would not have the eyes and certificate then. I was thinking about getting a second LW Bayer as an option anyway because both dolls would be in one box and the parcel would be smaller, so this way there is a bigger chance that I would not have to pay custom fees. Maybe it's better to order two separate dolls and to ask Lati to ship them both in one LW box. But then I would worry that Lati will forget that.
There are two extra LW Bayer pages where she is sold as fullset. On these pages there are the options to buy faceup and body for Luna.
PrincessStarburst, I even didn't dare to dream about a mystic Bayer! So when I saw her in my favourite size and even in tan I was not able to believe my luck. I am even thinking if I should get her twins, I love her soooo much! I got used to long waiting times, but waiting for my dream doll might be more difficult this time.
Spoiledshells, it the first LW Bayer in tan, right? I checked Lati's site and I didn't find any other tan Bayer.

I'm not a fan of mystics but this one is very beautiful. If I order Bayer, she'll be OE and tan. Although twins would be so cute!

 

She is adorable, there are so many great bjd coming out that my wallet is crying out....

What does OE stand for?

 

Pinkgate, OE means with opened eyes, a usual version, not mystic (narrow eyes) or sleeping.

I've ordered a tan OE Bayer, along with a mystic tan for a friend, so at least I'll get to see her

that's funny. i do all my own face ups. i'm not as good as the pro's by any stretch, but i can get them good enough for me and i have had a couple people try and commission me (it takes me way too long to get them right and our weather is way too iffy, so i always refuse) but i couldn't draw a realistic portrait to save my life i guess the skill set doesn't always translate.

 

So the only option to get tan OE Bayer is the fullset? Hmm I really wish they had a photo to see how the faceup looks on the tan version, as it's different tones than the normal skin.

 

well technically you could get the non fullset mystic bayer and then add the oe head and extra body if you don't want the fullset. you'd end up with two full dolls that way but you could either do a split to get the one you want before you order or wait till you see which you like better and then sell off the one you don't want to keep after they arrive. they are doing the options different this time, it's more of an all or nothing than usual.

 

So I signed in and placed my order but It did not give me the opportunity to pay. Do they send a paypal invoice or something?

 

What did you send as your payment type? I chose Paypal and it went directly to Paypal as before. If you chose bank transfer (or I think credit card) it probably won't.

 

I think this is an error by Lai, if you wait a few days they should correct it. The other Bayers, fullest or not all have the option to change head.

Astrosnik, I am sure the missing option for OE head is a mistake. You should write Lati and I'm sure this option will be added then. I would love to see tan OE Bayer too, and also NS mystic Bayer. It's a pity Lati offers these options and does not show the dolls.

I really wish I could do face ups. It is one of the negative things about the hobby for me as I am always paranoid about dropping a doll or ruining their face in some way. I hate sending them out because I miss them so much but then when they get home it is worth the wait!

I've done that before. I think if you don't choose the paypal option it does that. From memory if you put a question on the site with your order number they should rectify it for you.

I put in my order for the tan mystic Bayer. I had to rob the Turkey fund to pay for it but oh well, a chicken will be good enough for Christmas this year!!!

 

Congrats to everyone who's getting bayer! I want one too (well, twins actually), so I should make my order soon.

Also, does "confirming order" on the lati web site mean that the order has been confirmed or is still in the process of being confirmed? I haven't received a confirmation email yet and put my order in on the second day of opening.

 

Mine still said confirming order, so I dropped Lati a message and they have confirmed it and it now says 'preparing items'

 

Oh ok, well after Christmas I might just message them. No use doing it now as they are probably on Christmas break.

No, I am sorry they do not. I use Paypal's Credit, used to be called "Bill Me Later" when buying dolls. For items under $400.00 you get 6 months to pay with no interest. Anything over that you get a year. It is just as good if not better than layaway. With Lati by the time the doll comes you are done paying. You can set it up right on Paypal's website.
