Latidoll White dolls Discussion part 2

Madebybarbara, I only have two Lati Whites that are quite new. They have a new Lati White body which is genderless. It looks like a smaller upgraded Lati Yellow ver.1 body. I saw a lot of photos of older Lati White body, and it looked quite different to me. I didn't like that some older bodies had boy parts. Also the shape of hands and elbows was not so nice as it is now. However, I like the basic faceups on older dolls much better.
Costleyhobby, I totally agree with you. Belle is the best LW sculpt for me too. I wonder how I will like LW Sophie, she might be very cute too. I am sure if Dark Crunchy Haru had the same faceup as your Laches, she would look much better. Your Laches is adorable!

I also wish that DCHaru had a different faceup or at least more lush lashes, I still love her lots though.
I really like the one on the light tan Haru. I may send her out for a something different when I have some extra funds.

 

I'm kicking myself for not ordering the lati White recent releases. I just couldn't stand the thought of a long wait and I was right!
I just bought a second hand tan laches from 2007. Most of her face up has come off so she is on the way to the spa. I am glad that I have seen a photo of your Laches Costleyhobby because she looks so feminine wherelse my laches (minus face up) looks very masculine. I hope he/she comes back looking a bit prettier! I have also ordered a ns belle from The Doll Peddlar, I'm hoping she has the newer body. I agree with Costleyhobby, Belle is a cutie.

I think all the instock from the Doll Peddlar have the new bodies, I know my Lily did and they bought them from Lati after they'd redone the body.

aaloririan i didn't know aileendolls made baby dragons! (i have one of the bigger ones) they are perfect for the lati whites. now my girls want one too, so hopefully they will make more.

i hope the new release will finally have a special in it. we've been waiting for that for so long!

AaloriRia Well that looks interesting! I kind of thought they wouldn't do any more Lati White releases for a while. Like auntbear, I hope they do some SP girls in their next release. I would really love a mystic girl, any sculpt, just mystic!

 

I just got my lati white belle, and shes lovely! however, I didn't think she would be that tiny ! so now I need to go and make her some clothes..

 

i love to have a lati white of the newest relaise december or januari..i look everyday to the lati website, because i realy don't now haw i can now they come out?

I added more eyelashes to my brown tan Haru and I like her better now. I will take some photos of her as soon as we will have a sunny day.

I can not wait to see the new Lati's Christmas release "Little Angel Sweeties". Lati posted a photo of LW Bayer to their FB yesterday. She has a different faceup than basic dolls. I would think that she will be a limited release doll if she had a better wig.

I think it's time for me to enter this thread. I ordered a Cherny in beginning of February. She came here in mid October but I didnt really like the NS that Lati have so I sold her and was just barely able to order a new Cherny in WS in their latest ordering period before it ended.

When I first ordered Cherny in February I was sad that I had missed out on the cute BatB Belle so when tan Sophie was available in the steampunk peter pan release I ordered a tan Sophie to "make up for it" so to speak. But then, a friend let me know that she was going to sell her tan Belle and wondered if I was interested and of course I was. I was so excited to finally have a Belle and almost a week ago she arrived! n__n

i usually have my Laches as boys (especially considering my first 2 had boy parts ) but this one was gender neutral and just seemed to have a girly face to me

i actually met DollPeddlar at the NY Dollism as she was sealing the deal with Lati!

ugh! i was sooo glad Lati had at long last release more whites...then a bit sad that there were no specials but at least the new bodies are really poseable

lol that's funny. when I got my very first BJD, a Lati Yellow i was amazed at how tiny SHE was. yes, the whites are quite little

My basic Belle shipped! I wasn't expecting her until late spring next year!

 

What a wonderful comparison photo, Be-Life! Your Lati Whites are adorable but my favourite is Mini Pot Belle.

I added a few more eyelashes to my brown tan Haru's faceup. I used watercolour pencil. I like my Haru better now.

I was dressing my BaTB mini pot Belle today and I barely pulled on her little hand and it has come loose!! Her little hand dangles now and you can see a small bit of the string. I'm so scared to take her apart and try restringing her! I've never restrung a doll before and Lati Whites are just soooo tiny! Have any of you restrung your LW? Was it any more difficult than a normal sized doll?

I'm so sad

Wow, so many cute babies! I love all these fotos of Haru and Belle
I've recieved my White, Tan and Dark tan Haru. They are my first White Lati babies.
Now I'm going to buy new eyes for them. I love ED eyes, but still can't decide which size to buy. Is 8mm ED OK for Lati White?

spoiledshells I know that it is a horrible thing when your doll comes loose like that. I was only new to BJD when My first tiny, a DHS 12c.m doll came unstrung. I was beside myself! but I went on Utube and found a tutorial on restringing. It really wasn't as hard as I imagined and I feel confident that I could do it again if necessary. Good luck x

I was so surprised to see the new Lati's teaser today! The tan mystic Bayer is so adorable! I instantly fell in love with her! I will definitely have to get her, she is the cutest doll I've ever seen! I wonder if she will be available in normal skin and if the OE Bayer will be available in tan skin. If so, I might have to get twins

Hi Smilga no, I didn't make it. It was knitted by Maisiedoates and I bought it along with many others from her deceased estate. She was one talented lady.

Do you think the mystic Bayer will be a Christmas release? I need to hold on to some money to buy her!

 

I had no idea she had passed away, how sad. I remember her well from Etsy, and think I have some of her knits too.

Yes, I knew something was wrong when she had a sign on her Etsy shop saying she was closing due to sickness. Then I saw an announcement on Flickr about a year ago that she had passed away. I am lucky that I have been able to buy two dolls from her deceased estate, A lati white tan laches and a lati white sp tan laches. I really treasure them knowing they were May's dolls.

No, I have zero talent! She was done by Titytetee here on DOA :-)

 

I know what you mean about no talent, in my head I can do faceups (after all I used to be quite a good artist at school, how hard can it be ....) but in reality I just can't do eyebrows or the finer details. So any faceups I've tried are blushy and not much else!

 

I've come to the conclusion that some people are born with talent and others (like me) are born to buy the things that the first group make!!!

Does Fairyland Pukipuki clothes fit the Lati whites?

 

No, apart from hats, as Pukipuki are the same size as Lati White Special size not the basic Lati White size. They are closer in size to the Realpuki and I have found can share some clothes.

I do wish there were more clothes available for Lati White. I haven't tried the realpuki clothing though so that might be a step in the right direction ;-)

Nubanded on etsy does LW size clothes at cheap prices.

 

I just got a little crochet dress made for real puki on Etsy and it fits my LW girl perfectly
