Who did you get?

 

I got the full set sports Jenny :-) I’m so curious to see what she’s like!

 

I just ordered my first Lati Lime—Belle—for my birthday this weekend. I should have her in a couple of days. I can’t wait! I’m so excited! She looks like a fun size!

 

Yay!! Lime are so much fun. I like to sit mine on my couch when I’m doing a home workout or watching tv. They’re like kids

I would love to see more Limes, i want a Noa in this size so bad

 

Does anyone know how long it's taking to get dolls from Lati now?

 

The last time I ordered a year ago, it took 8 months for 2 event dolls

 

Does anyone know why Lati has so few dolls in stock anymore? It seems they mostly bring out special edition dolls, and only certain sculpts for the themes. I have been stalking their site for half a year or more in the hopes they'll get some basic Limes back in stock. ...and Yellows too

 

They have basic sales once or twice a year and the only way to really catch the announcements is to follow them on Facebook. My guess is they make more selling the event editions rather than basics. I have bought most of my Lati Yellow second hand or in stock from Doll Peddlar, I can’t stand the wait ordering direct.

 

Ugh. Thank you for the info. Gone are the days of ordering any doll whenever one wants. Sad.
I have looked at Doll Peddlar's site, but their prices, even for naked dolls, are beyond what I would have to pay directly from Lati. Second hand seems to be the way to go, but we're also at the mercy of who wants to sell their dolls.

Another question: Can these dolls wear a wig that is 8.5" specifically? If that was already stated somewhere, I missed it.

Wow, that was fast! They must have had one made and just needed to do a faceup.

 

I popped in here to find out more about the Lime girls but it is very quiet. It's a shame they have not reached the popularity of the yellows.

 

I love the Lime Lati's but they take up much more room

They are really cute, heavy and fun to hold but I felt like there was way more cute clothes for yellow size so I got rid of all mine if you never seen one in person I recommend trying one! The heads are huge!

 

I purchased one of Stelladolls Hanas, and have since bought a Lime Happy from Lati. Their cuteness is infectious! (for me, at least)
I bought Happy without faceup, so now I need to give her one. I ordered custom 20mm resin eyes from Ornella in Thailand for one of the girls. They are lovely! I can't wait to get Happy's face on so I can see her all together.

Does anyone have a Lati Lime and a Rosen Lied Holiday? I am curious to see the two big headed dolls together.

 

I'm working on the faceup for my Happy, and thought I would post some photos. There has been discussion about eye size. I ordered 20mm eyes for Happy before she arrived. I thought that would be a good fit because Hana's default 22mm didn't fit in her sockets well, and the general consensus in this discussion is that 22mm is too big. The 20mm eyes I purchased are not a perfect fit either, but the 22mm eyes she came with fit snugly into her sockets. I sanded the inside of Hana's eye sockets a bit to try to better accommodate 22mm eyes (the insides of her sockets were not smooth, but the inside of Happy's sockets are completely smooth and hold 22mm well).

Anyway, here you can see small gaps around the 20mm eyes. If I put the eyes straight into her head without any angle they fit a little more snugly. I love these eyes, but the iris size is a little too small for my taste. These are low-dome resin (urethane) eyes.



This is Hana (thanks, again, to Stelladolls for this sweet girl) wearing 22mm glass eyes that Lati sent with Happy. This is post-sanding. The sanding has helped to lessen the gaps, but they're still there. (If it is ok to post it, I am also including one of Hana's sales photos to show her default 22mm eyes. If you look closely, you can see the eye putty in the gaps.)




I want to order more eyes, but I am not sure if I want to order 20mm with a wider iris, or 22mm with the normal iris (both would have an 11.8mm iris). 20mm eyes come with a 10mm iris. I wish there was a size between 10mm and 11.8mm. I think 10mm is too small, but 11.8mm is almost too large. argh *murmers that companies should make 21mm with 11mm iris*

 

The great eye mystery! I could never get a clear answer. You did all the detective work I was too lazy for where are the purple ones from?

 

They were a custom order from Ornella (Guitaroska on IG). She was so sweet. She said she had been wanting to try 20mm eyes - so we both won! I asked for pink, lavender, a touch of icey blue and silver sparkle. She does pre-order sales fairly regularly, but she had sold out, and wasn't selling anything in this size. I took a chance and emailed her, and these beauties showed up within 3 months.

 

Does anyone know how regularly Lati release lime dolls? I'm curious to try one. Thanks.

 

All basic Lime, new basic Yellow, and new basic White are open all the time now except for the ones they discontinued. Even a few “special” basic are available. If they are not marked as sold out then they are available.

I've been staring at Limes on the Latidoll website and they all look cute but kind of sad. Maybe it's a product of the face-up? Does anyone have some happy looking Lati Lime spam they can share?

 

Do the lime have a logo on the the back of the head?

 

You asked that question more than a year ago. Just to answer for anyone else who may wonder, Limes have the normal Lati logo on the backs of their heads. I would post a photo for you, but I no longer have any image hosting accounts.

 

Has the wait time for Latidoll ever improved or is it still years

 

My last preorder from Lati took 4 months, that was in January of this year

 

I, too, have experienced normal wait times of just a few months.

 

Would love to get a Noa in Lime size... but i think Lati will never make them
