I possess a Lazuli head in normal, and a Spiritdoll Proud body in normal from my other doll. I think when his own body arrives (he is supposed to have this mysterious new 17 year Dollstown boy body in oriental) I could take photos of my LLT head on the both bodies, if anyone's interested.

 

That would be wonderful! I'm not going to buy a body for this guy for a while, but I think I'll get him in normal skin, I'm assuming the match is good if you currently have Lazuli normal on a spiritdoll normal? Or are you getting the dollstown because the match isn't that great? or is it just because Dollstown bodies are to die for

@AubreyMeeksArt, my Lazuli doesn't have his own body at the moment, because the 17 year Dollstown boy body I had ordered specifically for him back in august hasn't been shipped my way still (which makes me very sad). I sometime put my Lazuli on a 65 cm Supia boy body for taking photos, better anyway than just a floating head, but the Supia body is not suitable for Lazuli in proportion as well as in color. LLT heads definitely need a 70 cm body or taller.

The Spiritdoll Proud body belongs to my other hybrid doll. Sorry for causing confusion >_< I never thought of putting Lazuli head on the Spiritdoll, but now I start wondering if they would match. Seems possible. I should experiment more with my guys. haha. Anyway, I'll take photos of the both bodies plus Lazuli sometime later.

And I too am thinking of getting me a Neil head, btw.

 

How GORGEOUS is he? I asked Julia on instagram when he would be released... and last week she said maybe in two weeks!!!!!! I'm so excited for this head. xD
Those pictures would really help I just know I want Neil so bad and I dont know what color to order him in when she opens it up XD I have my heart set on that spiritdoll body so let me know when you get around to taking pictures

I think I would like Neil best on a dollshe 18m body, but people are still waiting a year later after the release of Arsene, so it seems that no one has the new 18m body yet. I'd take a chance on ordering one for him, but I don't know if I could handle waiting a whole year for it. x.x

 

Just popping in to add that you don't need a 70+ cm body as long as the shoulders are broad enough... I have two Roderichs, one on a 65 cm (now discontinued) Dollzone body and one on a Feeple65 body. Both work just fine. They are nice, broad-shouldered bodies. I think their torsos are more or less the same size than taller bodies' - much of the latter's length is in the legs.

Sigune, your boy looks great! I love the F65 boy body - I have one for a hybrid too, and it's also not the best resin match for my combination but it's such a beautiful body who cares.

I am curious what Neil's neck size is... After seeing that new Guu Doll 68cm body the slow and steady gears of my 2017 doll plans came to a screeching halt and I'm now seriously considering LLT Neil x Guu Doll for my Venitu's companion. He'd be so willowy and elegant on that body. Similar to Timeless Body's proportions, but much softer, delicate rather than robust, especially in the long thin legs. *___*

There was an update on LLT's facebook saying they are making two different neck pieces, one so Neil can fit on Ludwig/Ahaz's big body, and one so it can fit "other companies' 11.5cm neck size body" dollshe 18m is listed as having a 12.5cm neck so now I have no idea what bodies will work, doh! and the 28m body has a 13cm neck. so I guess I'm confused now, haha, since they show Neil on that body.

 

Oh, I hadn't checked the LLT facebook page! Thanks for pointing it out. He looks really hot on those big muscular bodies too. And from the front view, he bears a slight resemblance to Aaron Tveit.

 

Oh I'm excited! I just searched around on LLT's website and found that they list the CNAS body's neck size as 12.5! The same size as the dollshe 18m! For some reason I was under the impression that the CNAs body was mega huge all over, but I guess not? I swear I thought it was 75-80cm tall, but maybe I just imagined that? Its listed as only 72cm?

The news update I found was from when the body was still being made, so I guess the size hadn't been finalized.

But the CNAS final size turned out to be

"Height： 75cm

Head Girth： 23.5cm

Neck Girth： 14cm

Shoulder Width： 19cm" etc etc

What a size difference in the neck! Back to being confused I go, lol!

 

I believe Ludwig's body is closer in dimentions to Iple HID and Souldoll Terra Zenith than to any Dollshe body.

 

Yup, Ludwig's body is definitely closest to my EID here. He's slightly taller and the EID pants I got are a little too tight so I'd guess HID clothes might fit him. He sure is one enormous, heavy hunk of resin! Heavier than the EID.

 

Looking around for more potential bodies, I'm now considering ringdoll, as I've seen one person use a normal skin ringdoll body for a white skin roderich (i think.) and though there were only a couple pics and the doll had a heavy faceup, they said the match was really good because ringdoll normal skin is so pale that it looks like whiteskin. they have a 68cm body with a 11cm neck, that was the one the roderich was on, but i don't know if it was the angle of the photo but it looked like the neck was a little thin for roderich. the other body is a 70cm one with a 13cm neck, its waaaay more buff, which i don't really like, but its not as big all around as the dollshe28, so i'll guess i'll have to decide between the two... I'm dying for Niel to be released, I hope its this week~

 

I have the RGMbody 02 and 03 (the buff one, but I swear hes not really THAT buff) I won't be able to take any photos until Neil is released and I order him and he then gets here, and you'll probably have a body for him by then XD But I have to say, I LOVE the 02 body, (my Merlin Saltz in my doll profiles is on this body) It poses beautifully. I'm just, in love with it, really.
I am considering the Spiritdoll Proud body for Neil though, and I've also heard a few others thinking it was okay. I'm not sure about resin match with Spiritdoll though.

 

The two bodies I'm considering are the RGM 04, that is the one with the 11cm neck, and while it's buff, it still has a sleek swimmers body look, I think it's quite attractive, lol. And yeah, the RGM 3 is my other choice, though its a bit bigger than I'd like. I'm making the doll as an homage to a character written by my friend/writing partner, and he's not supposed to be a muscley guy, lol. But I'll have to settle on whatever body works best! Now that I decided against dollshe, I no longer feel all this pressure to rush and order, since the sale on his bodies is over at the end of the month. Ringdoll is so reasonably priced in comparison. And I've heard LLT has a slight translucent look to its resin? Which I think ringdoll also has.

 

The 04 is the smaller body with the 9cm neck. It's pretty and lean. I've seen an LLT head on this body just by searching LLT and Ringdoll on the forums It looks nice but the shoulders are a little narrow. It might be good for a character not supposed to be a big guy

 

Is it? I'm looking at it on ACBJD.com and the RGMBody-4 is listed as 68cm with 11cm neck girth.

The RTBody-3 is listed as 64cm with a 10cm neck.

The RGMBody-1 is listed as 72.5cm with an 11cm neck.

and the RGMBody-2 is listed as 72cm with an 10.5cm neck.

EDIT:

SO weird, when I go to ringdolll's site, they have completely different measurements!

The RGMbody-3 is listed as 68cm with a 10cm upper neck, 12cm lower neck, but on acbjd it's listed as 70.5cm with a 13cm neck!

 

It seems like they're averaging the lower and upper necks. I think the actual measurements are closer to what it says on the Ringdoll site. The Ringdoll neck gets smaller towards where it will connect with the head. I can't find my measuring tape but I can check later when I find it. I just always went with what the Ringdoll site said. It seems about right looking at my boys.

 

lol At this rate I think I'll wait to buy the body until you get your Neil and are able to post pics of it on your ringdoll bodies lmao

 

I can't say anything for measurements, but both Spiritdoll and Ringdoll will colourmatch any company's resin.

 

lolol!!! Well I will absolutely be here to do that xD I'm not getting my guy a body anytime soon. You've definitely got me now thinking about a Ringdoll/LLT hybrid

Soooo guess who just ordered Neil in white skin!? He's up for sale and there's a $20 discount. It was still more expensive than I thought it would be; $180. Though that may be because it comes with the two neck pieces?

 

@Botflybaby - heya would you know if that price includes shipping? I went through to check out and payment but they didn't seem to tack on any other shipping fees? $360 was it for me?

So now I ended up doing 3 different orders. : First was last night for Neil, this was before they added the retaining groove option so I thought it was included. So then when I found out it wasn't this morning (I had messaged LLT on facebook asking) I did another order for the neck thing. Then I sent a note to them in the contact page asking to combine those two orders. Only to find out now that shipping had to be ordered separate, so I just had to do another order! Gah!!

 

@AubreyMeeksArt @helene @Botflybaby You're welcome. The lack of shipping info on Neil's page may have just been a oversight since they have it on all of the other head pages.

 

Haha omg ordering from them is so confusing! lol. I didn't register for any membership or account or anything like that, I couldn't see it, so do people just order on the fly?

Also, I wonder if anyone knows if I need that extra neck thingy if I am just going to use it on the Fifth Motif Timeless body?

 

I think with the timeless body you don't need it. I think it already has a 13cm neck and will fit perfectly with the Neil head as is

Guys, also, in case I wasn't the only one who didn't realize, You have to purchase the neck donut separately. It's 10USD and you also have to tack that onto your order if you need it.

 

Has anyone tried to contact LLT through their contact page on their site before? I'm a little antsy since I had to send them a message yesterday morning asking to combine my three orders due to being too dumb and hasty, I haven't gotten an email back yet or anything so I'm not sure if it takes a while or if its not a good way to contact them. When I asked a question on facebook I got a reply right away.

 

I contacted them through the page, and using the mail from the mail button at the top of the home page to ask about switching from NS to WS and they also havent gotten back to me. I emailed as soon as I ordered too. I think they're just slow on reply

 

Ah okay, good. I have a feeling I wasn't the only person who messed up their orders, particularly because I distinctly remember there not being an option for the neck piece in the drop down when I ordered. It only said "White Skin" or "Normal Skin". I was just too excited and wanted to snag one right away, lol. Also because I was just about to go to bed when I decided just to look at the site, and boom! It was there!

 

Same! I saw your post and I was just like OMG NEIL?!?!!? And it was an hour before I needed to wake up and I jumped out of bed to order lolol.

 

Uhh, I have just checked out Neil head over LLT's. I think Neil's neck size is too big to fit the Spiritdoll Proud body... I think Neil would fit the Spiritdoll Herculean body better.

I then have to delay purchasing of Neil head... Maybe forever since he won't even fit in the company of my other guys... It seems none of the doll bodies I currently have would fit this head as they all have 10,5 to 11 neck size

 

I thought the same thing. I'm buying the Spiritdoll body because I have another floating head that would be okay on it as well, and I'm going to see if Neil fits my Akagidoll 72 cm body. I think it might keep Neil kind of lanky looking but have the neck size and a decent shoulder width.
Wlatian on Instagram went through the measurements and apparently Neil isn't THAT much bigger than the spiritdoll proud heads, (1 cm in circumference) but the neck hole is big even with the donut. I dunno, I think worst case, with a bit of modding, it should be fine.

 

I'm not sure what LLT is up to with those boots that they're selling for $60. They look to be the exact same boots as what already exists on the market. I bought a pair with inner length of around 11 cm for my Granado boy for $20, and realized later that I'd overpaid for that since some independent Taobao stores sell it for even less.

 

Agreed about the boots - I own the exact same boots, two pairs in fact. It cost $9. The "uncle" size is large enough to fit Venitu. And this particular boot is sold all over Taobao and ebay for $8-11. Even if there's a custom run for LLT specifically, I don't see how eight times the price can be justified. The LLT version shows no additional detail or better material or anything.

I'm going to wait on Neil. I was all fired up but 1) I want to see owner pics with his head next to Venitu's head so I can get an idea of how well they go together, and 2) ...I wanted to put him on the Guudoll 68cm body so much but the knees on that body turned out to be rather horrific looking when flexed. Dangit. Well, thankfully he is not limited.

 

I'm starting to think maybe I SHOULD just go ahead and buy an arsene to use the dollshe 18m body for my Neil, since its a pretty good price on sale, and I have the option of layaway... I have a feeling once the sale is over and the dolls hit the second hand market, people are gonna jack up the price despite having gotten it as a huge discount during all the sales. But that's just the nature of the second hand market, lol. I'm just worried all of the alternative bodies I've been thinking about aren't going to work...

 

I'm glad to hear I am not the only one who went a little "huh?!" when she saw the boots.
I own the exact same pair, also from Taobao, and I think it's kind of a bad move to claim that Julia *~designed~* them.
Not to mention the ridiculous price


Aaaanyway, that's not what I came here for.
I have a LLT Lazuli head in NS at home.
The character was a Dollshe Hound before, and the classic Hound body is still perfect for the character...but it's incredible hard to find one on its own.
Also the oriental skin doesn't seem to be a great match most of the time, depending on the batch/age, and fresh is already too light.

Now my question: what kind of body do the Lazuli owners here use?
I want a slim 70cm body for the character, but that seems to be impossible to find.
And the slight environmental resin look LLT has doesn't make it any easier to me.

 

It looks like sometime in the near future, Ahaz might be released again? When that video was posted on Julia's instagram, I asked if she was going to release him and she said she would XD I really have him at the top of my list. I hope it's in the next few months What do you guys think?

Also, the Soom Idealian new 75 cm body looks like it will be a great fit for Neil!

Since this year is the year of bodying all these rolling heads, does anyone have this 60cm Dollzone body or this 71cm Dollzone body? If so, how does it look with LLT heads? I'm hoping to find a more elegant body sculpt with more expressive (read: non-yaoi) hands.

That's what I thought too! Maybe it will slow down the shipment. I thought they wouldn't be shipped until March. Ah well. We will see xD hopefully they come soon.

 

I have ordered my Neil just a day before the last term. I am happy to discover that you have already received your shipping confirmation, it seems very unlikely that the same applies for me, in the meanwhile I keep my fingers crossed.
I have yet to decide his body, though.

I am really really set on this new Soom Idealian body xD I think it fits all the measurements but it's just not bulky at all, which I love. But the shoulders seem wide enough, the neck fits, I'm really excited about it. I can't order it until my birthday though, so still a few months xD

 

@AubreyMeeksArt, thank you! I forgot to order the groove neckpiece along with the head. Iplehouse EID and Soom Idealian would be perfect for the character I have in mind, but I hope tall sized Soom and Iple bodies still fit without it. Surely Idealian keeps much of the original concept for Neil, so slender and elegant.
I have emailed LLDT about my address and other info, but answers take a bit longer, so I shouldn't worry too much.
So we're both saving for a body, I guess!

I got mine for Ludwig too! I'm so glad that I ordered him with a face-up and body blushing so I can play with him right away. I can't believe I've been waiting for this guy since early 2011.

 

My Neil cleared US customs yesterday, hoping he'll arrive on Tuesday, since Monday is a holiday here.

 

Oooh lucky. I haven't had any updates on tracking since "dispatch from sorting center" in China.

The tracking isn't working yet though =/

I am having trouble with the tracking too. My Neil head says its in Grenada right now? I live in Germany. I am hoping it's a typo and not lost in the Caribbean.

 

Had the same info in the tracking when my Ahaz/Ludwig were on their way here. Don't worry, that seems to be normal. However, prepare for GDSK to pounce ...
