Woohoo! I just checked my email and I got a shipping confirmation for my Okita too! Yay!
So excited!
I hope he arrives on Weds, my day off, so I don't miss it and have to wait to go pick him up from the UPS hub next week.
Prays for Weds.

 

I got my notice too so I will pick him up at the store this weekend

Yay!! Eric will now have his new body LOL

Okita shipping! I am so excited, it was a race between him and my Tedros for who would ship first. Okita has won!

 

Whoo, shipping notice for Hijikata! And Gus, I think you'll love the Graffiti body. It's my personal favorite among Volks boy bodies.

Okita arrived today!
He is so cool! I think he fits in well A perfect big bro for my Ryu. (Now my Bianka just needs her sisters.)

I'm sure we will be seeing more arrivals of Okita and Hijikata soon!

I just received my Okita!!!! I must say he is 1000 more beautiful in person!!! I am so happy I got him!!!!

 

Congrats Carmen. I love mine too. The faceup seems a bit more intense than what I expected and the eyes holes are uneven. But I love him. ~Gus

Thank you so much Gus. I just went to look at mine again and I agree makeup is very intense but my eye holes are fine. Juli is right. I would let Volks know right away.

 

*wiggle* I'm now sitting on the edge of my seat... KL sent me a message that my Hijikata should arrive to them on Monday! Which means... by the weekend...

I checked several of them and they all look the same to me. I think that is how the mold is. He is lovely! ~Gus

I'm happy with new SD17 body - volks fixed the knee issue and it stands better!

I had a Lorina home but I wish I could bring another home as a twins!!

 

My friend AerynAerie got her SDGr Okita yesterday, and today she brought him over so I'd take out his hot glued eyes for her and I decided to take some photos of him with my Okita v.1 for comparison. There is definitely no resemblance between the two sculpts at all! I think Volks just likes keeping us on our toes, giving two such different heads the same character.

Oh man, I think there must've been very few of each of the SD Designer outfits! I just tried to get the White Tuxedo set & the Bordeaux set for a friend, and totally failed. They were sold out in seconds!

 

thesaraghina - You're not the only one. I failed after the site went nuts. ><

 

Yeah, I noticed that the pages broke right at 2, but the "add to cart" buttons showed up on those pages right after that. The thing that annoys me is that I got both outfits into my cart, but when I checked out the Bordeaux set was gone, and then by the time I resubmitted my order, the Tuxedo set was gone too. T_T

 

I didn't get the sets I wanted either. I was waiting at my computer and refreshing. Right at 11, the site freaked out, but I had another window open that was fine. I was able to put both the white bustle set and lilac train set into my cart, but by the time I got all of my order information filled out (which only took a few seconds), both were gone

Well... I know Volks just got done with the NY Dolpa this past weekend. Maybe they're still recovering? I'm also still waiting on my Okita. I ordered the seam sanding for mine so they told me end of June/beginning of July. I'm crossing my fingers that it's any day now. ^_^

 

I was set to wait two more weeks for my Hijikata. Then I received a notice from Volks USA that he was ready for pickup Saturday. I posted his arrival ~here~ .
Those who ordered Sato with their dolls & are still waiting should receive their notices very soon ^_^
