... I heard back from KL and I got Hijikata O.O ...still kinda in shock, but YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY!!! XD

OT: The After Event is first come - first serve rather than lottery right?

 

AE for the dolls is lottery. AE for outfits and other Sumika items is first come first serve. ;P



Actually, speaking of the AE, I was just looking at the AfterEvent page and they've finally updated the items! I was surprised to see that it looks like on the limited items page that Little Lorina and the SwD White Rabbit will be available. I didn't think they would be, since they weren't offered through VolksUSA, but this is good news for everyone who wanted to try and get one of them without going through Y!J.

 

okay, one more question. You can enter for two dolls in the after event right? not just one? or do I have to pick??

EDIT: nevermind. I found it on the site "Even if you enter for multiple items, you may only win one."
So...you can still enter but only win one. (Not that I'm lucky enough to win both)

Oh wait, I did win 10 pounds of hotdogs once... but I just wanted to say congrats to everyone else who's heard, AND since there are now fewer of us in the Volks USA lottery -- Will keep fingers and toes crossed for everyone!

 

what they meant is that it is possible to win multiples but it is also possible to win only one - both cases have happened before.

I'm still catching up with customers who've waited a long, long time, and it wouldn't be right for me to paint him until they're all done, but the moment they are... Welllllll... Let's just say I'd be really tempted to play with him. The sculpt is just so darn gorgeous it would be hard to resist!

 

okay this might be a really newbie question but the international AE actually starts on March 26th or April 3rd?? ?_?
I'm quite confused from the dates at the japan website lol ><;

 

It starts on the 26th (Japan time) and goes through the 1st, with payment due by the 3rd if you win.

(I was being silly and told only a couple people that I even entered for him. I didn't want to jinx it.)

Wonder if it would be pressing my luck if I would hope for him to get here in time for NY Dolpa? Heh... (I also ordered the seam sanding so I know it will possibly be an extra month before I get him. *shrug*

 

so has volks already done canceling orders and sending out confirmations for Hijikata? That's fast. o_O

 

now the question is: will there be an extra stock like there was for DP22? *crosses fingers* I still must have hijikata!

I was eyeing those two sets of black label outfit and I have a stupid question, to your experience with the past Dolpas, will them be offered through Volksusa?

 

Yes in about 2-3 months time when the LE items arrive from Japan to Volks USA they will have limited quantities of the outfits for sale online

Volks USA will announce the arrival (and the start of the sale period) on their blog so keep an eye out for them

 

Most likely yes. It'll just take 2 to 3 months to get here.
