Knitting Knitting

There's a really cool thread for crochet, but I can't crochet! So how about a thread to share knitting tips, tricks, and your current projects. I'm waiting for some new 5/0 needles to come in so I don't have anything started, but here's one of my favorite older projects.



A big challenge with miniature knitting is being able to resize the pattern without loosing detail. This pattern was originally 40 stitches, and I resized it down to 14 (I think, it's been a while). I believe it was knitted with size 2 needles.
