Keid - completed(first cast pic on pg 4)

    1. I've been so busy working on the other doll, Keid has been a bit neglected. But I am getting close to finishing him. Just some details and tidying to do then I can cast him. I'd like to begin making his mold in a couple of weeks but I'll have to see how my time goes!

    5. I admire Ain a lot but this boy Keid is beyond words. The thought/image of him as a vampire is making me swoon! *_* I also adore the boy body you created. It's so lythe and gracefull. If you can put Keid on a body like that...I'm sure I won't be the only one seduced by his amazing charms.:aheartbea

    6. Hello,
      I've started making Keid's molds today so I should have some finished stuff up soon! We've had some warm weather come through and it seems to help cure the molds faster, so I'm taking advantage of it!

    8. For now I'll use the same boy body. Maybe sometime next year if things go well, I'll do a different body. :)


      And yes I started making the molds yesterday but had a bit of a disaster and I might have to remake the mold. Luckily Keid's head came out with only a few scratches and dents on the inside and around the top cap area. I'm sanding the damage and getting ready to start over again....grrrrrr:x . Really cannot say how much I can't stand moldmaking...so easy for everything to get messed up!

      Quilibet - I started over and I think I have everything under control now ;) ! Hehe, I've been sick the past few days so I think that might have contributed to the mistake :| . Tip: Wait until you feel good to make silicone molds!

      I'll probably cast a body while I'm waiting for the head molds to finish curing (I want to take him to a meet-up, so I think I'll snag a whiteskin version of him for myself....sneaky:lol: ).

    14. This is the junk cast from hell...I don't know if the mix was a bit off or moisture got in there but the surface is just a tad soft...so doing the face up was weird.

      He's cast in the whiteskin.

    23. I was privileged to meet Dollist's boy this weekend, and while I may have been a little silly in describing his expression, the workmanship is every bit as amazing as the photos show it to be!

      He is incredibly realistic in his face, it's very cool.

    28. Wow, it's getting hard to keep up with these threads!
      First I'm glad so many people like him! Thank you! I'm working on a website and much better pictures of both boys in each skintone that I hope will be up soon.

      :lol: OpheliaB - I thought that description was funny, especially when he's flopped on the couch!

      And finally Jean's question, yep they are resin and insert down a hole between and just below the eyes. Then I put a bit of the same putty I use for the eyes there to make sure they don't wiggle.

    33. I simply adore Keid's parted lips! Were you thinking of anything in particular (like a mood or of words he was about to say) when you decided to make his mouth pursed like that? He almost looks as they do in movies, when someone is about to put their finger to his lips to silence him. <3 Anyways, I ramble. He is beautiful. 'nuff said. :D
