Ordering Kaye Wiggs Doll!

only some of Kaye Wiggs' dolls are on topic. Have a look on jpop dolls
sometimes they pop up on ebay too.

 

The only Kay Wiggs dolls that are on topic for Den of Angels are the ones specifically grandfathered (allowed because they were included before Kay Wiggs dolls were ruled off topic) - see the list here.

 

You got me curious. Why only some of the Kaye Wiggs dolls are on topic? I thought all her dolls were BDJ? Sorry for my ignorance. Still learning and want to buy a Kaye Wiggs doll. Trying to educate myself.

 

Oddly enough I don't really remember why any of Kaye's dolls would have been off topic. Her older dolls were porcelain, but she changed over to resin. It was over 10 years ago when this thread started. lol. I'm fairly sure Kaye was never banned or anything like that and she is not on the list of off topic dolls.
Her dolls are beautiful and some are available on jpop.

They have proper discussion threads, so I assume they are on topic. I don't see why they would need grandfathering, they are fairly typical BJD, as far as I know.
