I own an Adrian WS on an IOS (Immortality of Soul) Class 70 new WS body and the resin match is very very close that I can't even tell the resin color difference. Sorry, I cannot provide photos because the doll is not with me right now, but hope that helps.

Hello! Small question: has anyone tried a match with Sadol’s NS resin? I hve been looking their 60cm body for my Bambi head (I would really love to get an Infinitydoll body for her like the one Imhave for my Switch Rusi but I’m out off luck on that one )

Hi! I saw a Kanadoll Eden on the marketplace, and while it got snatched up pretty fast, it made me curious. Can anyone spam me with pictures before the preorder? Also, just how small is it and can it fit on heads with 11 necks? You see, I was thinking of getting it for a body that isn't finished yet. It has 16 cm shoulders. Also, is the white close to Volks white? It looks like it.

EDIT: Welp, I got one. White skin. Hopefully it goes well. I've been wanting a head for a certain body I've been waiting to come out, but my current option had me chafing at the secondhand prices. This looks like the same aesthetic I want, but if it isn't right, Kanadolls seem to sell well.

 

I am wondering... if anyone knows what skin type might match Eden? I have him ordered and am considering a loongsoul body

 

What colour did you get? I ordered Normal. I have a LS normal pink body, probably could compare it when Eden arrives if no one else can help.

I just got my Eden! I am sssooo happy! He is gorgeous! I am about to send him off to have his face up.

I have a slight problem though, I have already packed it. I didn’t see if he came with a serial number or anything like that that identifies him as a Kana Doll - is there anything? It’s just so that I know if it’s my head that comes back to me.

Another question. The head cap thing just out a little bit. Is that normal?

when we bought it, the sales page itself indicated a late may or early june release (cant remember which right now). they also mentioned that they will send an email when it's ready. i am happy with the amount of information i got.

Yeah they did D: had to email Kana asking for the dimensions of Eden so I can check out different bodies... but she replied promptly and quickly!

She said

Eden has about 10.5 neck circumference and head circumference is about 8~9 inch.
He is usually compatible with 63~65cm size body.
The body I used for Eden is 65cm boy body.

Hi all! Just looked up this thread since I got my very own Kanadoll Eden head some months ago. He's absolutely stunning and I love him to bits. I currently keep him on a Spiritdoll Proud body, and the proportions are okay, the neck's a bit skinny in my opinion but the rest looks acceptable, proportion-wise.

This is him with a temporary, two layered faceup, on a Dollzone B70-003 body, which is even skinnier than the Spiritdoll body and doesn't fit my taste at all. Height-wise it works well, I think. It all depends on the proportions of the body (big shoulders, generally muscular, etc). I'll see if I have the patience to strip him naked and snap a photo of the proportions with the Spiritdoll body, just for future reference for people x) Either way, this sculpt is absolute love. I love him and he's perfect

 

Sorry for the bump! Just ordered Aidan in WS and now I'm on a hunt for a body for him. Does anyone know any resin matches for WS? Is it also Volks matching?

 

Bumping again, sorry o_O; I just got an email back from Kana, she says WS is also similar to Volks (I'm hoping similar means matching), just wanted to leave the info here in case someone else in the future is looking for a match ^^

 

I put in an order for an Adrian head right before the deadline. I’m pretty excited.

 

I put an order in when her order period opened but haven’t got a reply or anything... I would assume I’d get a reply to tell me the total cost with shipping. Is that normal?

 

@v1ntagecouture For me, she replied back in a few hours with the total with shipping and I paid then. I would follow up-- make sure she got your email and the order!

I made an order in the first opening hour haha ! I wanted this Adrian head sooo much ! And I saw the announcement for the pre order just before buying one head wich did not totally suit me on the market place.

 

Oh man, sadly I replied to the original email and even messaged her via instagram still no reply. Really bummed

 

Does anyone know if Dollzone's white resin is a decent enough match for Kana's?

 

Did anybody catch the pre-order for the new head? I checked Kana's blog less than a week ago and there was nothing, but when I checked it again today I saw the "Pre-order is closed" post

Seems like this pre-order lasted only 2/3 days (judging from the posts dates).

 

Oh yea, she only had it open from Dec 12th to 17th. If you follow her on Instagram it's easier to know when she's opening pre-orders! @kana798

 

Oh, I see…thanks a lot @Crudnuts! I only follow Kana on her blog and that's how I joined her past pre-orders. I'm not sure if I'd ordered this new head, as it looks quite similar to Adrian to me, but I would have liked to think about it.

 

Agreed! She’s super active on her instagram. Even though this pre-order was only open a couple of days, she started mentioning she was going open a pre order earlier on her Instagram. I totally recommend following her there. And her pictures are so gorgeous.

Also, the new head does look similar to Adrian— but still his own thing too. Like a big brother?

My Lucien arrived today~! It seems that his head is teensy big bigger than adrian's, making size 8 wigs fit much better.
He looks so adorable even without his face up~ ;;

hes currently on a 5stardoll normal yellow body, his head is a bit paler but it think a face up can fix that little issue.

I was just wondering if anyone had put an Adrian or Lucien head on a body bigger than 63-65cm? I have an Adrian on a 66cm Doll Chateau body and it works just fine. I'm really interested in getting the new DZ 68cm body. It has a 9.5c,m neck and 14cm shoulders and I was wondering if anyone had experimented with putting those heads on bigger bodies? It's a pretty big investment to buy that body and I'd like to hear any stories of Adrian or Lucien heads working on taller bodies (for the record it's the Lucien I'm thinking of putting on the DZ body, he would currently be on a 64cm Ringdoll teen body).

 

Joining in and asking for a bit of help.

Recently i bought 2nd hand kanadoll Eden head in white skin, just because he resembles my son in the origina promo pictures (with the blonde shaggy wig).
But now this head needs a body that fit's that of my sons (the kid is 8 and skinny, but with broad shoulders) T
he body type that to my idea comes closest is the dollzone b60-005, the old akagi doll body is a close 2nd (it's more like his body when he was 6)
But i can't find anything usefull about resinmatches. I found 1 reference from a member here to dollzone white not matching but she was not sure about exactly what color white she got (old or new) does one match better than the other? I think akagi should match but i am not sure does anyone know the answer or does anyone had any helpfull insight? it would be very much appreciated.

 

@allanieew and anyone else, did you have any luck finiding a WS resin match for Kanadoll? I came here looking for good matches for my WS Adrian, but there's mostly just information about normal skin matches ;^;

 

I finally have Adrian, Lucien, Eden and Mars. I'm super excited for the Mars and Eden to arrive. I'm using the Mars on the Ringdoll grown 1 body and since the o-ring doesn't fit at all when I tried with my Adrian head I'm going to have to use bolt cutters to get it off and replace the o-ring with an s-hook. It looks fine in terms of proportions thankfully.

 

Nope sorry i haven't bought a body for him yet. (i now have my sights on a guu doll body but since they don't have a good reputation when it comes to dealing with them i am a little hesitant to buy)

 

Yeah I just read a horror story about them recently. D:> If you remember to do so when you get a body, do keep us updated!

 

After doing some comparisons, I decided I like my Adrian more on a smaller body, so I went ahead and ordered him a 62cm DF-A Ver 3 body from ACBJD. I like the ~softer~ look of the body a lot, and the price is not bad at all (plus ACBJD does free shipping??!) though I'm thinking he might be a little bobble-heady. Oh well. As for skin tone, I saw somewhere DF-A does resin matching, so I'm getting one matched to a Volks WS... I'll let y'all know in a few months how it goes!

 

I just got a tan Lucien from the marketplace! Now to find him a body!

 

Does anyone have a Kanadoll head on a DT15, DT17, or DT18 boy body they could show off? I'm interested in the sizing of head to body and fit on neck, skintone isn't my main concern.

Hi everyone! My Volks WS-matched DF-A 62cm body came in a while back, and I made a little box opening here. If you want to skip past me babbling on and having issues getting his head through a neck hole, there are some close up shots starting around 13:10. (Sorry if it's a little hard to hear!)

 

I know your comment is 5 years old but I’m wondering if you have pictures of any of these resin matches?

 

@tiikx I'm afraid I don't actually. I know I had an error on the imagefile back then, hence only the text descriptions. I was willing to drag all those bodies out again if there was interest (there wasn't), so no pics of those resin comparisons and I don't have have half of them anymore.
Right now I have my Adrian on the Switch body and am rather happy with the match.

 

Which resin colour is your kana head?
