So, I wanted a very specific hairstyle for my CP/Luts Delf girl- Long, wavy, and black, with no bangs. Harder to find than I had expected. I found a perfect wig on the Dolly Planet and ordered it. They told me it would be back in stock in a month; even though the website did not say it was out of stock, I decided to wait since it wasn’t exactly urgent. it has now been five months. I emailed them a couple of months ago to ask what was up with the order; no response. I emailed them again yesterday asking them to please refund me, and still no response. I couldn’t find anything about them being a scam company on here. but has anyone else had experiences like this? How can I go about getting my wig, or my money back?
If you paid by PayPal, you should still be within your dispute window - sometimes going through PayPal makes sellers magically responsive again (and if not, you can claim your money back)
There was another thread about them being unresponsive: /threads/cant-get-in-touch-with-dolly-planet.856041/ I would not let an order with them pass the PayPal dispute time limit personally. There's actually a couple things I wouldn't mind buying from them but they seem to be an iffy company.
Have you tried reaching their Instagram? They seem pretty active there. I ordered from them 2 years ago and had no issues after an initial hiccup. They did end up responding to the email I sent. Their English website is a bit odd. If there's still no response definitely go forward with the paypal dispute before the 6 months though.
Update: I did a PayPal claim and got a refund. So they had time to respond to that, but not my two emails in the past five months. Charming. Will definitely be warning people about them going forward.
I've been luckier with them. My most recent order with them was two months ago, and I got my stuff in a week with no problem. One item was out of stock and they notified me and refunded it. Their website is kind of chaotic.
Sorry about your experience and glad that you got your money back!! I only shop them via dealers. ACBJD and Legend both deal for them. I love the products I have received from them, but I don't trust them to order directly. They don't keep the inventory updated and don't bother to tell the dealer when an item is out of stock until some weeks past. And the wait time including the slowest shipping option was more than double what was promised. At least the items were nice in the end if you actually get them.
