IrrealDoll ~ Ringo!

I'm loving all these Ringo's! I wanted one so badly but the sales time was up far too quickly! Maybe now she knows that Ringo is very popular and she could sell more next time. I didn't have the money for one when the first pre-order came up anyway so I still would have missed it.

I'd love to have mine on a DC body. Does anyone have one? I'd like to see how the head looks on the long limbs of the DC female but a DC male would be good to see too. I just want to get an idea. Please spam some more!

 

I plan on ordering a DC body through Mint on Card for my Ringo.

I'm totally in love with her already Her wig finaalllyyy arrived (Chinese post omg takes over a month sometimes!) and it is beautiful. Urgh and dammit Doll Chateau just answered my wish for them to release an SD girl body under 60cm I really like it too... she may have to have it...!! Although I'm also looking at the custom order pear shaped girl from nobility doll that is running atm...

I'm still hesitating the body I want for mine... I'm going to check out Nobility Doll, I don't know them, and re-check the other ones that I narrowed down (Luts, Aria Doll, maybe D.I.M...)

But, I've found her wig, and I'm nearly sure about her eyes, too, and her name...

I am so excited! I just ordered the materials needed to make my Ringo her wig.

 

Oh what colour did you decide on for her wig Athena Genesis?
My girl has a dark brown mohair wig sitting waiting for her. I think she is going to be a very girle girl. xD
I'm still hemming and hawing about her body! LOL.
Part of me really really wants to get her a DC bod and part of me wants to get her one I could more easily sew/buy clothes for. hahahaha

 

I am going to try and make her wig .... I have never made a wig before so this is going to be something new and exciting and hopefully it comes out how I want it to. I think my water nymph is going to have dreadlocks and I am going to sew glass beads and silk leaves into the hair (maybe - if I am feeling very adventurous - lol)

I plan on ordering a DC body for her on layaway from Mint on Card. Yaretzi is suppose to be this very lithe almost inhuman/alien creature and the DC is perfect for her. Since her character doesn't really wear clothes because she is bound to a lake - clothes isn't going to be an issue, I think I'll just quickly sew up a sheer slip of dress and call it good - lol

 

Oh I hope your wig works out the way you want it too as well ... it sounds amazing! And the yarn is perfect. Please post lots of pics!
And I like the way you think re: the DC body! LOL. Part of me was thinking, "Wouldn't it be fun to make a pair of jeans for her??" but I know I would end up making one dress and calling it a day. I'm kind of intimidated to sew for her shape.
hahah I think I'm talking myself into getting her a different body, at least for now. xD

 

I will definitely post pics! I am so excited to have her come home. I think it is going to be a race between her and my Shiva I ordered from Souldoll to see who gets home first.

Blablette, which body did you end up going with? I am still undecided about mine ... I keep trying to convince myself to get something else but I keep looking at the DC bods hoping one will magically be shipped to my house. LOL.

Mabelcakes, I ordered an Ariadoll 14Yrs Elegance with B-cup just before the company closed. I heard that the resin-match is good (my Ringo is in oriental skin). I wonder how long the body will take, I'm quite itchy to have her complete, now, but well, she needs her faceup, too. ^_^ I've got her wig, that is a yellow mohair and I hesitate between two pair of eyes. I have her name, too, but I wait until she is facupped to see if this name is really her or not. (Dolls have a way of their own sometimes ^_^)

Blabette, thanks! I know what you mean ... I wish I had been more on top of getting mine her body so she could be all put together when she got here. What eye colours are you deciding between? Hopefully she'll tell you her name once she's all complete.

Some wig brands are tight, and the exact size will help me a lot in deciding whether it's necessary or not to go up 1 size

bumping this thread up...Laura sent a newsletter saying the new Ringo heads should arrive home in June, so I'm really looking forward to my Ringo coming home! I'm pretty sure she'll be a girl, but I love the sculpt as both boy and girl!. I'm wondering what body people are using for hybrid? Will a Volks SD10 body be a good match?

 

My Ringo is on the way home! Can't wait to see her! Anyone else out there with a Ringo on the way?

 

Just reviewed the Ringo post. Oh my goodness - She is a wonderful sculpt and I love what everyone is doing with her. I plan to look into her.

 

With the new Ringos heading their new homes, I thought I'll spam my Yoko, who ended up white haired (after the yellow mohair episode). I love her so much!

 

Blablette, your girl is darling! I've been stalking the tracking on my Ringo, but just realized today that she (he?) was not sent EMS, so I can stop stalking the tracking...it's going to be awhile...
I'll kick back and wait patiently, but will be sure to show her (him?) off upon arrival!

A friend wanted to know how the Ringo head works on the Dollstown Elf body, and it's perfect! Showing a photo here in case anyone else wonders.
Now I need another Elf body, this is just awesome for her!

She is utterly amazing on this body Wally - I love her. And you did a fantastic job on her faceup and styling. I am totally in love!

I've just received my Ringo package today out of the blue! There were no shipping notification email from IrrealDoll... so I didn't expect her package at all

ps: Orca is still blank and in the picture... she's borrowing my Pumpkin's body (DC adult). I quite like the proportion... I might have DC new youth girl body for her

Thanx' Wally! I think I'm going to have my Orca with DC new youth girl body... not sure about the skin match... probably will try to go with DC pink white skin since it matches with lots of resin from another company for hybrid. I like her look on DC adult body... the proportion seems alright

 

DC as in Doll Chateau? I'm not sure if that will work...do you mean the "extra joints" youth body? If so, I can have a friend bring one over tomorrow so that I can check the proportions...

I do have a plan to have a DC new youth girl which has extra joints to hybrid with a DimDoll head... so I'll try first with Ringo... If it doesn't look nice... I'll have Dimdoll head for DC body and find another body for Orca. It's just made me curios since DC adult body proportion works fine with Orca.

 

I think the DC body is really slender, I had a Bella for abit, and I think Ringo will bobble-head the heck out of that body. I'll see if my friend can bring her DC Queena over tomorrow, and will take a look at whether it might work or not!

DC new youth girl head does a little bit smaller than Ringo's...
I just did a photo edit... and here's the most I can get with
(I scale Ringo's head a bit bigger than DC's... This might be a really rough result)

ps: I use Stacy/Christina body... maybe Queena's body is a bit too small considering their head size is way smaller too

 

Oh heck, you're right, Queena is not the Youth body, they call that the "Kid" body! I have not seen the body you're thinking of! Your photo is pretty awesome, she might just be totally smashing on that body! Will look forward to seeing your girl put together!

I saw some already get their new youth girl on Flickr and I ask for their body poseability reference since my DC adult girl poses amazingly nice.. and they said that this DC new Youth girl body poses perfectly no problem too... Made me wanna order the body asap
