IrrealDoll ~ Ringo!

I am most definitely getting one Would love to put her and my Lumedoll Saiph on Doll Chateau bodies... a project for next year perhaps

 

As far as I know, Sakuli hasn't decided for sure if she is going to offer Ringo for preorder? I hope there's enough intrest that she decides to go ahead with it, I really want one.

Does Sakuli isllustrate a comic (?) I'm not sure but i've seen photos on her blog and flickr of her drawings, Ringo really looks like her characters. Very unique style

 

She is lovely!! I really love this head but it will really depend in what color she will offer her for me xP

 

Hope she doesn't mind me saying, but I PM'd Sakuli and she actually has a couple of heads available, in Oriental Skin. Hopefully I am going to get one of these before the pre-order I would like to try her on my Dollstown Elf body, if that works I may get her in tan if offered in future pre-orders as Dollshe resin matches Dollstown... I do so want a tan girl!!

If anyone is interested, when I get her I can try the head on all my bodies (DF-A boy, Lumedoll boy, Custom House Ai girl, DT Elf) so we can start to get an idea which bodies work nicely

I think I'll start with if I want a girl or a guy and then I'll figure out everything else xD

 

I don't mind about the colour, I can get a body to match or I don't mind blushing to make it match but I have to have one of these!

 

Haha I know!! I said no more big dolls and now... I am keeping one I was going to sell, and getting another one... but they will prob be floating heads for a while

Hm, I keep getting confused about the dollshe colours. Which is the easiest to match again?

I think it is the way the eyes are set wide apart is one of the really unique things about sakuli's dolls. Very cute, and somehow, it gives them like a little bit of an animalistic look. Ringo is like a little puppy.

 

Oriental skin is, I believe, the easiest to match as its close to Volks NS, which means it should match most companies with normal-yellow type skin When I get the head I can let you know what its like next to AiL NS and DF-A NS-Y, which are both near identical to Volks.

I like the wide eyes too, gives her a very etheral, faery-creature look!

 

I love the wide apart eyes too, it makes the head so other worldly. It's just wonderful.

 

Such a unique face... oriental skin would be fantastic!

 

I absolutely LOVE this sculpt. I think he'd look super cute with my Shinji ;u; Brothers perhaps? X3 I can't WAIT for the preorder! *pines* I'm praying for a Christmas bonus haha.

At the moment, he is on a LUTS SDF body. The match is quite good (the head is a little bit yellower), and proportions aswell. Though, I think a thinner body would be nicer ^^

Edit: Head arrived today! LOVE her and can't wait to try her on some bodies... and play with wigs and eyes I have lying about

I FINALLY unwrapped my head and put some eyes in... still haven't tried her on any bodies but I'm thinking I might get her the Spiritdoll Elegance body I've sort of changed my plans for her a bit, hoping to make her a big sister for my Planetdoll girls... MiniVega - she might end up being a freckled, ginger haired relative to your boy

I can't wait to get one of these heads. I love how unique it is. I plan on putting it on a SD Chateau Doll Female body. It will be perfect for my Lady of the Lake, water plant character, Yartezi.

For those that already own this lovely sculpt, what size eyes and wig would you suggest?

Am also interested in knowing eye and wig size and well as good body matches (Athena Genesis, my first thoughts were to put the head on a Doll Chateau body too! Great minds. ).

I was also thinking about DC body! It could be a really nice idea!

Ringo wears 8-9" for size wig and 14mm for size eyes ^^

I agree that combo of Ringo's head on a DC body . . . it just works . . . there is something very Other Worldly and not quite human about it.

 

I was originally considering the DC body for mine too, but I changed my mind for her character/style I absolutely LOVE the new pics Sakuli has put up of her with a pretty, girly look

And I second 14mm eyes and 8-9 wigs fitting well

aww I'm sorry you missed them too Jisatsu. I think Sakuli only took orders for 10 - 20 this time but maybe she'll take another order in the future? Hope so!! I think Ringo would look dreamy in tan.

 

Hopefully she will cuz that was seriously fast and I would hate to see the price of one in the MP this day and age. :\

Ringo is incredible and I missed the pre-order period, phooey!!

 

I got my SD10 body, hah, damn that grl has some meat on her bones, she makes me want to feed my girl on the Dollstown elf body lots of cakes But the resin match is perfect, and Ringo looks really cute on the body. I have her outfit all planned - this weekend = sewing!!

mabelcakes - Enkidu is a really cute name I chose the name Esther as she reminded me a bit of the actress who plays Esther in a recent adaptation of Charles Dicken's Bleak House

I should have sent my girl for her face-up on Monday but I'm having difficulty parting with her, she is too cute! I have most of her outfit cut out now, it is Mori Girl inspired Will post a WIP pic over the weekend
