Iplehouse Waiting Room v35

For those with the "Payment completed, preparing to deliver" status that means the doll is being made. They have 3 status more or less for orders and they are color coats "Before payment" which is redish text, "Payment completed, preparing to deliver" whch is blue, and lastly "Shipping" which is green. Orders tend to be making stage for a bout 3 months (when they are not backed up for whatever reason) then change to the green means go shipping status. If you are in the US shipping takes about two weeks give ot take. Hope that info helps make the wait time go by faster and may your incoming orders be shipped soon. ^_^

 

@Tippetarius has it in one. I'm expecting to wait at least another month on my CREAA orders. Since I ordered full sets for both dolls, possibly longer.

Looks like I have done it again))) Ordered Iplehouse. Previous one was my first bjd and took 7 month and loads of worry re shipping. I hope this time it will be smoother.
What's the waiting time these days? I have decided to put her on 2 parts layaway this time as I am still off the contract.

 

This is a very helpful writeup of current status, thank you! Especially important to know that I won't get the tracking # before the doll has shipped. I ordered Vampire Count Baron with two heads and face ups on 9/25, it sounds like I can have SOME hope he arrives before the new year.

 

For me, the waiting time ended up being exactly what they promise in the description of the doll. In Dean's description, it was 60 work days - I counted with all the Korean holidays and marked the deadline on my calendar, it was November 9 - that was the day he got shipped. I ordered the doll on August 4.

I finally ordered my first Iplehouse doll!! She is BID Ellia in boy body, I have been looking at since I started this hobby last year. I wonder what the typical waiting time for Iplehouse when you order in holiday sales period...

That is so true. Still waiting on my CREAA-J dolls, and it's been over three months, which is definitely out of the norm for them.

Blanks are faster. I suspect my delay is due to four heads with full face-ups. If the scuttlebutt I've heard is true, Iplehouse has difficulty keeping face-up artists.

 

Well, apologies for the double-post, but it occurred to me that I didn't specify which face-up was supposed to go with which CREAA-J head, and I wasn't sure if I was supposed to? (I ordered both heads for two dolls, and face-ups for both.)
Turns out - no. The face-up you get is the one pictured on that specific head.
And - my dolls are getting their face-ups done! Should ship soon! Wheeee!

 

Triple-post - one of my two CREAA-J dolls (ordered one day apart) status's changed to shipping! Squee! I didn't receive any email notifications, but I've been checking my status daily, so I'm guessing they didn't feel they needed to, lol.
So that's interesting. When I purchased Aaliyah, my status changed from (preparing to deliver) to "shipped" with no other status updates. And they waited five business days after shipping before changing the status, so I received the doll before they changed my shipping status.
I dunno. It's their company - they can do what they want.

Of course, all of the wigs are with the order that hasn't shipped yet (I ordered a LOT of stuff), so I'm going to wait for the other doll before I unbox her.
I asked, and they said it's cheaper to ship the dolls separately. I don't have a problem with that.

I know there is a whole load of troubles happening in this world, but dolls being a perfect antidot for those, sooooo, they should be coming to our lives more often

 

I'm still waiting for a tracking number for mine :') I ordered her on September 22nd so I'm waiting until the 18th this month to ask what her status is.

 

I order September 16, Iplehouse emailed me last week with a question about my order and said it should be mailed out this month!

And status changed to "shipped," although Chloe is still chilling in customs. Yeah, I guess that's about 5 days.

 

Something odd is happening, Iplehouse sending me a ' shipping' refund of 81$, no explanations or emails about it.
PayPal send me an email with all the transactions marked as Refund balance. Had anyone ever received the refunds from Iplehouse?
I wrote them, but they are usually answering once a day. So confused. I hope they haven't cancelled my order for some reasons.

 

Oh I think someone mentioned earlier in here that they adjust the amount you spend on shipping before they ship it to you so it isn't as exorbitant as it is when you initially pay them. They would let you know if they had to cancel your order.

I am just tiny bit anxious, because i have seen cases of unpredictable behaviour of the artists and makers, so it's reassuring to know they will communicate should there be any cancellations.
This industry is so unregulated, on one hand it give a certain degree of flexibility ,on other hand, it leaves you unprotected.

 

I'm back! I just ordered Zenon, special real with the black priest set, both sets of extra hands, a wig, and the fedora hat that was under Accessories! Kinda bummed there wasn't any shoes I liked, but I have a pair at home that will fit him. Lol when I told myself "man Zenon sure looks cool" I went back and looked and back when he was first released I had posted in the forums here that I was in love with him! So now I'm extra excited because apparently I've loved him all along, I just had to set my love aside until I had funds haha.

I was thinking of ordering her as well, but stopped on Zinnia. Hopefully, next time will order Chloe, she is amazing!

 

Ugh I saw another post on Facebook complaining about the faceups coming from Iplehouse (which, based on the pictures, they are right to complain). Somehow when I was placing my order it completely slipped my mind that several people had received not very good company faceups. Ugh now I'm worried, hopefully Zenon comes home with a good one.

Surely they aren't all bad... Chloe looks good!

 

It could be something with custom versus default but I don't know the context of the post so I can't say. It's rumored Iplehouse has trouble with keeping face-up artists as is unfortunately, regardless of talent...

 

I received Chloe today, and both of her face-ups look good to me.
Surprised at how loosely she's strung, though. She's loosey goosey.

 

Sent a gentle poke to Iplehouse and apparently my girl was finished but they're recasting a part because it didn't pass the final inspection so I do feel better that there's a reason why I haven't gotten a tracking number.

 

it's actually reassuring that they pay attention to the quality like that.

 

For sure, I'm glad I went with them first and that hopefully it will mean I have a tracking number soon that I can check daily instead of iplehouse's website

My David that I got in Oct of this year has a prefect face up, sadly I have no photos posted of him as still working on finding him a good wig.

 

I was busy with the holidays and didn’t check my order status for a few days, during that time my Erzulie shipped!

 

I swear I'm trying to be so patient but I just want my doll man. If my Impldoll I ordered months after my Iplehouse girl gets to me sooner I will be having an existential crisis...

 

Something is going on with Iplehouse, wondering what's that and if they will manage to get back to normal. Rolling on the past successes won't get them far into future, they need progress. Apologies, just thinking out loud.

 

So my CREAA Elysia just arrived, and both of her face-ups are perfect. I was a little bit worried, particularly for the more ornate one, but they're exactly as pictured.
And this makes my second super loosely strung doll from Iplehouse, which is just bizarre. I don't mind restringing, but both dolls are so loose, I can pull the chest up about 3 inches and just tie a knot in the middle. I've never experienced that from them before. I wonder if they outsourced these dolls?

 

So, according to the wait-list, it's only been 3 months since you ordered? And they would have already sent your doll, but they decided to redo some parts?
I guess I always considered 3 months to be pretty fast for BJDs (especially big ones), so I wanted to make sure I understand what your waiting time is. I don't want to tell other people the wrong thing in the future.

 

I'm not sure what is up either, it makes me nervous to get more dolls from them... especially if I want a face-up.
To answer your question Maleficent, my waiting time has been ~3 months but I ordered no face-up and the only extra I ordered is mobility thighs. They said this exactly when I inquired about a week ago,
"We apologize for making you wait for a long time.
SOO you ordered had been completed, however, one problem was founded in the final inspection process,
so one part is currently being re-produced. We will send it to you as soon as it is done.
We appreciate for your kind understanding and patience. Thank you."
I should add that I'm more concerned because I have a face-up slot for January and I don't want to be late. This also could entirely be an unusual situation as well for them.

 

Hi, can I ask when you ordered him/her? I ordered mine on 24/09/2022 but I haven’t heard a word about him. Mind you I ordered him in light brown so maybe that’s made a difference. All I know is that I haven’t had any movement on Efreet that I ordered the week before either.

 

I'm definitely not complaining anymore she came today without a tracking number I'm going to send her out for her body blushing and face-up asap and post her unboxing later tonight I'm super excited!!

 

I ordered on September 16, I also got him in light brown and without a face up. I was out and got a delivery notice today, I’m in the US but with holidays the shipping was really fast!

I've followed up with IH on my order. They replied that the blank doll is already done, and is already at the faceup stage. Hopefully not too long now before a shipping notice (ordered her end of September). I normally order dolls blank, but I wanted this particular girl to be up and ready to go by the time she arrives.

 

I ordered my lad with a (human) face-up so I suppose that’s where the hold up is☹️. Congrats to you and everyone who has got their order.

 

Update: my order status has changed to shipping! Now here's to hoping she won't get held up in customs. D:

Yeah I understand how much work doing the series was but that seems to be when they were the most inspired and were putting out dolls with interesting clothes and stories.

When they switched to focusing on FID I feel like they stopped innovating. Fingers crossed the inspiration comes back and they give us some great sets again.

 

My fingers are crossed we get new permanent sculpts, but I'm not holding my breath, that's for sure
Or heaven forbid, new clothes that fit.
