I don't suppose anybody with one of the kittens would mind taking a couple of photos for me please? I'm really interested in the range of motion, especially on that middle-of-the-body joint, and the one single video I've seen that posed the doll to that extent didn't dwell on it.

I'd love to see how far forwards it bends, how far back it bends, and to the sides too! I'm actually interested in the more unusual or "unrealistic" bending/posing, I've seen plenty of photos that prove the pets to pose like the real thing!

Its so exciting to see the Iplehouse Puma!!! Just love him- gorgeous sculpt. I am quite jelly that I could not get him at the time. and this photo of your adorable doggies Humphry and Linus is super cute! I have 3 of the iple Bull Terriers--I hope to get a Boston one day too!

 

Your puma is amazing! I would love to get one of the little kitties myself, because I own two real ones, but your big kitty is so adorable.

 

@nattherat Sorry it took so long, but I had some time today to takes some pictures. Honestly, their range isn't fabulous. I couldn't get my kitty to bend very far.

Thanks so much for taking the time to do this, it does, thank you so much! If you have a few more moments, would you be able to show me how far back the hind legs go (can the cat pull one of those humorous poses totally pancaked out for example)? Plus how far back the forelegs go too. Or are the extremes of both shown above?

She really didn't like putting her arms all the way forward.

Edit: Also, I should mention that with her legs straight out like that, she is balancing on her very round belly so the front and back legs aren't touching the table at the same time. It's either the front ones or the back.

I find the posing of my Beagle and Boston Terrier is pretty limited... but they still look great posing with my dolls...

It must have taken a lot of time and a very steady hand to get all the lines and dots to look this wonderful.

I've been watching the bull terrier on Iplehouse e-shop for about two months but it's still "available soon". Does anyone have any idea if they were limited? Or maybe if they have certain sales period for the animals?

 

It's my understanding they go in waves cats, dogs, whatevers, but I don't know the pattern or dates. They seem to just be randomly back on sale in limited runs on and off. I know the Puma had two sales runs, and the cats have been for sale more then a few times.
Maybe you could try asking them on the Iplehouse Q&A board?

It doesn't hurt to Q&A them with questions like that, I think. They will want to know if people are interested in having another sale period, I'm sure.

This is the reply I got from Iplehouse.

"Sorry but we don't have any specific plans for now."

 

I received that reply when asking before. I asked others wanting to order cats and/or terriers to write Iplehouse and I believe within about a month there was an order opportunity. Good Luck.

About Iplehouse and their "plans" for w/e..... In the past they were very good at having a thought out plan of action which they generally shared with us.... However in the last 1-2 years... they don't 'share' what plans they have IF they even have plans. It's almost as if they are in a pattern of 'we will do w/e we feel like when we feel like it and there won't be any notice. They are very stingy in what they share with buyer now.... just my opinion based on observations.

 

Edit: I deleted a lot of photos and no longer have one of Zera with the terrier, but still have one with a BID and terrier.

To be honest, I think most companies either don't want to reveal their release plans or don't have any at all.
So far I've asked a few companies about re-releases, skintone events and things like that and none of them has ever given me specific answer. I got only vague replies like "thank you for your interest, blah blah...maybe...in the future"
It would make it much easier to make plans and save money if the companies were willing to share their plans with the customers.

 

Iple used to be 'more' open... no details but usually the 'we will do blah' but we don't know when' or 'maybe next year... but they have become waaay more stingy in the info department. We used to know up to 3 dolls in advance at least what 'size' was coming out or if something 'special' was in the works... this is why the way they are now is so frustrating

This thread is my hero. I have been wondering how their pet dolls would look against my SD size BJD. These pictures are gold.

I wish I could get the Puma! More expensive than any of my dolls though... kills me.

I hope they make more dog breeds too! Everything they've made is so cute.

Recently finished up my Cat (again, because her old blushing was chipping... she's dyed now, so no more chipping, yay!) and used glow in the dark powder this time too

I have MSD sized dolls, have seen a 4.5cm tall iplehouse beagle. Please can any one tell me, would that size be appropriate for MSD dolls?

 

The panther and puma are gorgeous. I'm so happy to see there are more animal bjds now. I wonder if the pather will be sold again? I hope so!

 

pretty much anything that is not discontinued will eventually come back. But they jsut run limited runs when they feel like it.. no fixed plan for some stuff. so... yeah some day...

 

The Iplehouse Pets are available for sale now! I just put in an order for a beagle and a cat.

They could go on sale for the holiday sale, but then again it might be after the new year. You can ask on the Q and A board or sign up to receive their notices.
