I have a question for all Rexy owners~ Do you prefer 14mm or 12mm eyes on your girls?

I have a favour to ask you, dears ;-) Does anyone happen to have some basic patterns for nYID boys? Just some simple t-shirt and shorts/pants pattern would be great

 

I have a raglan shirt pattern that should fit him - it fits my Miro hybrid anyway and their measurements are similar in the shirt department. No guarantees since I don't have nYID boys (yet ), but it's easy to make and it's a start ... I'm afraid I can't help with pants patterns right now If it's a choice between a bad fit and no pants at all, I could send you my SID boys' pants pattern and you add elastic for a waistband, then he'd have something comfy, if not very neat-looking? (If I even have that pattern drawn out neat enough to share - I'll check that ASAP!)

edit: I found and scanned the raglan shirt pattern, but grabbed the wrong pants one If you'd like the shirt one, let me know.

And Airike I have some really poorly made ones, Andy's wearing some of the clothes I made using those patterns. I don't know how to get them to you though.

 

I was fortunate to find a Chris head in white with the IH faceup. Since I already have a custom Giorgio on an NYID body I am thinking I also would love to find an SD body so I can buy a Dollheart outfit. Can anyone tell me of a doll body that would work with the 11.3 cm neck of the NYID? All my other IH dolls are on the IH bodies but I have been forced to have clothes custom made or from IH and I really love Dollheart costumes.

Artisticadelle, that would be so kind of you! What about scan/photograph them and send via e-mail? Or maybe if you have some basic shirt or pants pattern for Ember it would be enough if you could try how these would fit the nYID boy body - I have patterns for SID girls and wonder if they can be adjusted :-)

 

I'll try scanning them. Andy and Ember can actually wear most of the same stuff made from my patterns, same shorts and hoodies. But then again my patterns are meant to be bigger and baggier. You wilhave to use an elastic band for the pants.

According to Iple's clothes pages, SID girls and nYID boys can indeed share pants, so your idea of adjusting SID girls patterns could work. Fingers crossed!

 

Perhaps if you can find an "SD17-sized" body? Volks isn't a good resin match, but a number of companies make dolls with roughly similar proportions... and DollHeart makes SD17-sized clothing

Airike I'm not sure if I can send them. I'm having issues with my scanner where it will scan the image but not send it over to my computer. UGH I really wish it wasn't doing this because I need to to scan other things as well I'm really sorry :/

Oh, no worries, dear! If nYID boys and SID girls can somehow share, that is enough information for me at the moment :-) Hope your scanner behaves soon, though! Good luck

I was thinking that she might require bigger eyes than other Iple dolls, but I've never seen Rexy IRL so I wasn't sure But your pictures were really helpful, now I know what eye size would work if/when I decide to order my Rexy~ (OMG and I've seen your pictures on Flickr, I love your custom work!! Your grey Stella is just stunning!)

I'm excited and dismayed. No money. Most of the dolls are too big for me, but this would be an opportunity to buy Bliss. Do I need her? No. Do I want her? Maybe.

 

vermont chick I have the same problem. I tell myself that the hot guys are way too big, and that works (mostly), but the NYID girls are always a temptation. I really like that body. Bliss is a cutie, too. I wish there were more owner photos of her in casual clothes, though.

Next to her is the body's actual owner, Bianca, on an old (2.0) Doll In Mind body. She needs a neck donut, but apart from that the combo works quite well.

I'm not even trying Bliss is a lovely sculpt! And you're spot-on, they are indeed sisters.

Whoa, really? That is news for me. But indeed their look is an obvious hint

Hmm, not bad, not bad at all. It is interesting how quite a lot of Iple ladies can be converted to nice males, especially with the right face-up ;-)

Airike, it's kind of a recent development, like the name change. Jo is Katie's younger sister, Bianca just took her sweet time telling me that she was Jo. They have a little brother too, Timmy, who may or may not be shelled as a nYID Noel at some point.

 

HAHA funny thing is, the character whose been drawn there actually IS being shelled next. That's Lacie, who'll be my Bliss LOL
Even funnier thing: Lacie's orignal name was Bliss back in the earlier days of middle school when I first created her. Seems like it was fate.

 

Yep, I know about Timmy. I am sure it would be great if you can get your hands on Noel ;-)
