It scared me... My room is on the 2nd floor, and the pool is right beneath my balcony.
If anything happens, I'll jump with all my dolls to the pool~ >.<

 

Depending on where you live, sometimes staying indoors is best... just make sure you're not where things can fall on you Glad it wasn't too bad ::hugs::

I can't help myself, I love the Lati blue Rucas and Kahn faces so much, I wish there were more photos of them next to IH girls.... anyone have a Rucas especially (since Kahn has an even smaller face?) that they can put next to the girls (Tania especially?) Thanks, just in case someone can

Thank you! I am still in the process of perfecting those two shirt patterns for fit, but I think I've got it down! And I love the second shot too -- it made me wish they made winking heads and hands doing the 'victory' sign. Because Asalie would totally do that.

HOMG. My wallet would weep if that happened. I'd love to see a dark tan girl as well. Since I started collecting dolls, I've gravitated more towards dolls with darker skin, and/or darker hair (or I tend to put darker hair on dolls). I think it may be because I didn't have very many dolls like that as a child? I had mostly the blonde/blue combo.

And in other news... perhaps some of you may recall me posting that my mother and her friend inadvertently convinced me (for sewing purposes) that Asalie's and Kale's cousin should be bumped closer to the top of my list of dolls that will eventually be coming home. Well, not only did she jump to the top of the list, she jumped into my shopping cart when I was deciding on whether or not to buy Asalie and Kale some clothes from Iplehouse last night. I've been in the hobby now for what? 4 or 5 months now, and I've already made my first impulse purchase.

I would, but it doesn't look like the resin is even close to matching from what I've seen, thoug resin changes all the time... I am thinking of seeing if I can't get a head... then I'd know if I can get it to match, if not, then I could get the body the next ordering period... so yah, it's one of the options I'm kicking around... But I'm worried the face will look too small next to Tania... but I so love that face! The body isn't bad as far as size goes, just definitely not as nice as a JID boy's, so that's more the reason for thinking of getting a JID body, they pose far more naturally.

So I ordered some shoes from an Ebay seller a bazillion years ago, and they finally came on Friday! I was getting pretty frustrated at the shipping time (over a month), luckily they weren't some huge priority of mine.

I was so busy this weekend I didn't play with Yeyo! *sniffle* but I did snap pics of the kicks. They are actually a little clunky on her, but still cute none-the-less.

Thanks! I love it too... I think they're mostly agreeable because they don't see any sense in fighting over stupid things. Logical bunch, their family is. Although they do rather like to fight physically, its in their blood. So they do practice the art of beating the crap out of each other quite often.

I ordered a Basic Tania Normal Skin with default face up, mobility joint, and small bust. The wig with heavy bangs that Asalie has been wearing actually belongs to Ariin (Tania) -- we realized this when I plopped it on Asalie's head.

Dollies are definitely more diverse now, which I appreciate... but my wallet, not so much actually. xD I'd love to see a boy and a girl, especially in that Special Dark Brown skin tone that Kamau first came out in. My secret dream is "I" in the light brown skin tone -- the one that the Strongman Luo was released in.

KITTY SHOES. I just love those pictures of just her feet, they're so cute!

I know the feeling, but that image is lovely. I love the combo of her hairstyle and outfit with her sweet face.

What I can say to you... is CONGRATS!~ Which one did you buy?

Kazahaya, that's my Ryu head, is Lati compatible, and he goes very well into my Iple House YID Boy Body (owned by my former Iori)... The difference is almost unnoticeable... They're a 90% match! But of course, you're right, resin colors change. But you already have an IPH at home, so owning a Rucas is fine, just try to hybrid later! I am curious, too!

 

I got a Basic Tania, who will be named Ariin (AH-Rin). ^^ I have a wig for her already, but no permanent eyes. I've got some 14mm cheap-y acrylics like what Asalie and Kale have as temporary eyes. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with brown eyes for her; I think the combo of dark hair and eyes would be a lovely contrast to the Normal Skin.

I don't think I'll regret getting her, since she was on my wish list... I just need to find a place for her! I'll have to see if I can find another little chair like what Asalie and Kale have, or see if i can find or make something else. I need to make her some clothes too, since I bought her instead of clothing. xD

Here's my Kaz on an IPH YID Boy Body... His head is blushed with orange/pink... But you can see that his forehead matches the body very well~ *^^* And I didn't blush the forehead (of course!). Maybe just a little bit darker than the body (Iori is more yellow than my twins because he's a 2008 resin, the twins are closer matches to Kaz than Iori!). This is taken with SLR Camera, no blitz, just sunlight from the balcony window! *^^*

Is Kaz on a normal skin IPH YID Boy Body or white skin? Kaz is soo handsome! Is the RYU head normal skin as well? Btw, How to order from Migi doll? Can I order RYU head with face up?

Agreed, very nice faceup I'd have to think about doing a hybrid though because it would add about $150 to the cost... really need more pictures with JID girls

Just an update to let you guys know, after much convincing, my hubby agreed to get me an IPH Ryan!!! Kyaaaaa!!!! However, just normal skin though. He said the real skin costs way too much for a doll...sigh.....

I am still very much happy to be able to get a Ryan!! wooohoo!!! He will be my Xmas present!!! Can't wait for December! I hope by then Iplehouse might have real skin Ryan on sale or discount..hahahaha......dreaming......

The body Kaz is using is from Iple House Mars SE (Normal Skin, 2008), it's yellower than the new 2009 IPH resin (like my twins).

PS : Migi doesn't offer face up service at the moment, but it may change when her website becomes bigger and she starts offering bodies for the heads...!

Good news, my seamstress made clothes are being mailed out today, but it's slow poke mail. I should have it in 21-23 days... barely in time, so my fingers are crossed that it'll arrive safe and sound

I would like to purchase Tania and Jerome or Joshua (not sure which) together as basics on layaway, but it's just over what I can afford in monthly payments (actually, any amount is more than I can afford, I just play with my credit cards instead of letting them go down with each payment, isn't that awful?)

And my husband is threatening to pay off my credit cards (so he doesn't have to make payments anymore... but that cuts off my only fun money, so I don't want him to )

So I'm reviewing the dolls I want... and I'm playing with the numbers etc... It looks like after X-mas, if I can still manipulate numbers, LOL, I want to order Tania. I'd love to order her with Jerome, but that's just a little too much for monthly payments... and it would mean no wig or outfit. So I'd get Tania with the cat outfit and boots (if they're still around). If I should get money for X-mas and can wing it, I'll try doing Tania and Jerome and forget the clothes till another time :P

Then, in the late spring/early summer, I'm gonna go for a Lati blue Rucas. I'm just too in love with him not to get him. If he doesn't work out well with Tania, she can have Jerome and I'll let my minifee have him, LOL.

Sigh, I hope I can play with money in the future to keep this up... LOL
