I love them both, I really hope I'll be able to order one before they sell out since I guess they will probably be limited! I love Tatiana Pierrot!

The kneeling pic has the fronts of the knees in deep shadow. but it looks like the knees might be the least aesthetic part of the new body molds. The knee connection looks like a variation of the current 60cm girl knees, that have the same round/square joint as the elbows of both the girls and guys, but with a "backstop" to keep the bottom (square) part from jutting out (which the 60s could use!)

 

if any one of them can point their toes and raise their leg in an arabesque, I want her! I've been looking for a doll with a cutaway butt for ages. oh, to have my avatar come to life.

 

They're so pretty :3 I especially love Tania. Can someone explain what the butt joint is for though?

 

The butt joint is probably an alternative to the "L" shaped upper thigh grooves you see on bodies like the Swarrico, so the legs have outward rotation capability. It will be interesting to see it in action!

Me too! While the new MNF boy body is nice, I just don't like all those muscles.
I'm so anxious to see what they do! They've done a fantastic job with the girls - so realistic. They look fun to pose!

I wish the release date was sooner! I don't think I can wait! lol I know, it's only a couple days from now... it could be worse.

The site has been UPDATED!!! IP house now posted measurements, I'm going to compare them asap to a slim mini. It also seems as if the Trapeze version will also be getting clothing. I sure hope they take some better shots to show the outfits and what not.

Now judging by the measurements - does anyone have a clue as to what size category this girl will be in? @_@

 

Any one have measurement of Lati Blue to compare to these. I am so in trouble. I just started collecting in January and thought the Iplehouse were too big for my house. So I broke down and ordered my second favorite a Lati Blue Cara. I haven't got her yet so don't have measurements.

 

Acording to Lati they are:

height : 43cm
Head : 18.6cm
neck : 7cm
bust : 17.3cm

You can't always completely trust what they write on the webside though. I measured the slightly older body - but I'm not sure if there's any difference apart from the joints - to this:

The head however is a Censya head wich is smaller than the other heads but it had elf ears and the measurement is around the ears because that's how big clothes has to be in order to get over the head.

I'm guessing they will be roughly the same height as existing minis, but from the measurements it seems their proportions will be a little fuller and more realistic/less slender.. longer and wider in the torso and shorter in the legs. I'd like to see more of the pierrot body in action using the double-butt-cut joint or whatever you want to call it. I would have thought that body would be better for a trapeze doll though?

it also looks like the Pierrot body has a larger bust than the Trapeze body. I'm quite tempted by these, but might wait for a basic doll with less accessories.. and normal skintone.

 

These little ones have the most realistic body I've seen in an MSD before. I absolutely love it, even if she looks weird next to my little Narin boy, that's a-okay! I agree - the trapeze girl should have the extra jointing - I want the extra jointing, but I want the trapeze version, so I asked IH if they'd let us choose the body - I'm hoping they say yes.

EDIT: Good news - IH said they will let us choose what lower body the girls get (butt joint option and what not). They will not however let us choose the breast part because for the limiteds the costume is made specifically for that size. Cool beans!

They are absolutely gorgeous and I'm now liking Tania a lot too... I personally like Tatiana Pierrot compared to her Trapeze version... Is it just me or her Trapeze version looks a wee bit chubby on the cheeks? Maybe just the angle...

Alright, this might be a really silly question but anyone can point out the difference between the Tania and Tatiana mold? Their eyes, nose, mouth... Cause both Tatiana versions look a tad different to me...

Nonetheless I'm looking forward to the basic versions AND their mini boys...

 

There are pictures under J.I.D where they show movements of the mobility joint.

I'm liking Tania Pierrot, but I'll echo everyone about the price...it's too high.

If you go to the page referenced in red rosin's post #193, above, and click on Photo Gallery, there are a bunch of pictures of the girls, both in natural faces and clown/pierrot faces, and shots on the trapeze. They also have 6 nice images in the Wallpaper link.

From the looks of the silhouettes in the opening page, it looks like there will be some 60cm members in the circus, too --

 

So do these all come strung with large bust and the smaller one is sent with them? so two busts?

 

Treelore, I think the Trapeze versions come with the small bust and the Pierrot versions with large bust. There was something mentioned about the costumes being designed especially for the bust sizes.

 

On the description it says this. I normally prefer small busts but due to the shape of the body I prefer the larger bust the smaller doesnt' flow as well I feel with the line of the body.
Cream white small breast part Tatiana (head + body + bent hand parts) - this is for the one with purple hair regular makeup.

** Does anyone think the hands seem too small? maybe its just because I am used to looking at unoa's.

 

I don't know Treelore, people naturally tend to have differently sized hands anyway, so both theirs and Unoas look OK to me.

 

Yeh... Well there will be a basic version I think so you can at least get the doll in basic form. Also I am thinking the larger bust is more beautiful to me with that body shape so there may be and advantage in waiting for basic if you like the larger bust too, the two trapeze dolls have small bust the two Pierrot have large. At the moment I am curious to see owner pictures too. How fast does this company ship I wonder.

My favorite is Tatiana Trapeze.

They come with two hand parts and I think the bent hand part looks a little bit smaller where the regular seeing a bit larger maybe its wishful thinking

 

The possibility of a basic version is high if you ask them on their board about it. Depending on the demand, they will release a basic one. Usually they do. ^^

As for shipping, there is a description on their site concerning shipment. Details can be found on the doll's description. Usually they ship pretty quick for their current basic dolls ( about 15-20 days ) but for collection dolls like these, it takes longer. It is noted in the noctarcana circus doll's description that production will take about 30-40 days.

...So it'll be awhile until there are owners pictures

but I look forward to seeing them :3

How does the quality of Iplehouse compare to Volks, Narae, Unoa and Soul Dolls? I would like to branch out and these dolls have very pretty faces but I have not heard much about them. Thank you!

 

Well, from their larger dolls, the quality of the resin is lovely! It's not french resin, but a proprietary mix of several resins, and has a nice feel and reflectivity, and good strength. I don't know about the latest Souldoll resins, but I find the IP (I have several) resin IMO, nicer than most.

the circus version was just out of my budget, but I bought a white skinned Tatiana the day the basic girls came out.

I have a question though, I got the mobility type, do any of you have one? and could you tell me how well they pose and stand (even if yours is regular type) because I would love to know if she is able to stand.

Aaaah, I think that's the YID Louis. They just took an old wig picture and used that to show what the idea is of the wig. He looks exactly like my Louis. He doesn't look any younger than that.

 

What is the assembly manual that they have for the JID? Does anyone know?

 

The assembly manual is a 4 page laminated booklet that has tons of photos, plus directions, in English & other languages, on how to restring the dolls (or how to string the basics if they ship in parts).

 

When I first clicked on the think I saw the blonde photo first and thought, "Wait a second... That's Tania, not a boy..." Then I scrolled down for the other photos. XDD Definitely Louis, not sure if he's young. If he is a new JID, though, he's still not one I would buy (I only have room for one MSD boy on my team XD), but very pretty. I hope he is one of the next releases for those who would buy him!

Now if they made a young, MSD Ryuushin look-a-like... I might just swoon. XD My pockets would start crying, because I can't buy anymore dolls this year. But next year... a basic normal skin version... oh yes, dear... oh yes... XDDD

Like someone pointed out, some of the JID wigs are similar to ther YID so they took the YID stock photos I think... So you get a clear idea of how it might look like as a JID also...

 

LadyKnight - you might be right (of course the idea of a msd Cocori is just wonderful to contemplate). Louis is already such a young face! (Wonder if anyone's ever ordered him on the muscle body? That would be so odd-looking, IMO.)

But I bet whatever they do MSD, it will still be more childlike, based on the faces out so far.

I'm still waiting to see more details in pictures of how the knee joints look in a variety of extreme poses, and am as curious as someone else here about what you get from the extra glute joint piece.

 

I think Tania looks a lot like Harin as well, she's going to be my Harin's little sister eventually. ^^

Does anyone know if the small bust version fit minifee or kid delf clothing? I'm assuming minifee but minifee usually have such large dimensions on top I'm not sure.​

 

I have a girl with the thigh joint and one without. If I were to order again I would get them both with the joint. You don't have to use it, but if you want to it is there, it doesn't pop, twist, slip or anything that might make it a nuisance. I would say go for it if, the worst that would happen is that for awhile you wouldn't use it.

 

Some quick questions for those who have Tania or Tatiana with small bust.... how do you think they compare to other MSDs? Do they fit well into standard MSD clothing? What about more tailored, fitted MSD items? What about shoes and wigs?
I'm sure this info must be on DoA somewhere, but my sleep-deprived brain won't let me function enough to find it using the search function- so thanks!!!!

 

They are very curvy in comparison to other dolls I have.

They can get into MSD pants (not slim) with a fight. I couldn't fit even the small bust into any of the girl's fitted tops I had, but I did finally find a boys button down shirt that the small bust could wear. T-shirts are ok on both of them.

They wear slim footed shoes like those for Unoa, Narae and Bobobie.

The wigs Iplehouse sent were 7-8, but they were just little loose, some 6-7 wigs I have fit them better, but they are Monique and very stretchy. The DoC wig I have that is 6-7 didn't fir very well because it had no stretch.

Tight outfit is small. Like a T-shirt, some elastic outfit is OK. Loose designed outfit is enough possible.
If slim feet shoes like Unoa / Narae, these can fit well. For a little big shoes, if you wear together with socks, that's OK.

The wig from Iplehouse can fit very well the head. In case of the wig, according to the design, it can be a little loose or tight. If 7.5 inch sized small mini wig, that's OK.

 

I discovered that the Bobobie dress that I had on my Sprite fit's my Tania (SB) far better than it did my Sprite. Pretty good for $15, too bad Bobobie only has 3 outfits.

She came yesterday. I really like how curvy her body is, I mean she has some nice proper thighs and hips!

 

My Tania's foot broke the first time I tried to take her shoes off, I think the resin hook was weak, I was trying to be careful with her. Even though Iplehouse insisted I was just too rough with her, they did agree to send a replacement after their humid season is over. I Superglued it back together and switched the broken foot onto my Tatiana for now, since I haven't been playing with her as much.

I removed her shoes several times since then without incident, so it's possible that the broken one had some sort of defect or weakness that caused the damage.



This is not as bad as my Elfdoll though, each of her hands and feet popped off at least once because the little hooks came loose. causing damage to her ankles and wrists. By the time I ordered replacements for her they were making very different colored resin.

 

Since the switch I have played and posed her alot (and I mean ALOT, I luv her ) and no harm has come to her so far. Which is what makes me think it may have been a hairline crack or tiny bubble in the hook that caused it to break. Though I know I have seen at least two people who's dolls arrived with broken feet, so I don't really know.

I need to get some Apoxy sculpt soon anyway so I will probably make the hooks thicker and into full loops to be on the safe side.

 

Like I said so far playing and posing with her 'new' foot has been just fine ^_^

Her default shoes are just so darned tight, I'd be careful when taking them off. I have been using all sorts of things for makeshift shoehorns to make removal of said shoes easier, a cuticle pusher is my favorite so far.

A design flaw methinks. The resin hooks on the feet need to be more substantial, more of a hook or even a complete loop would be better.

 

My new foot came in today, sooner than I thought. At least they are offering replacements, and by now they must know it's a design issue, so many more broken feet can't be a coincidence.

I'd like to hope they would redesign the foot and offer new parts to customers, it'd be nice.

It's the same as before (though of course not broken), they haven't updated it yet. Aesthetically their ankles are quite pleasing, it's a shame they are having troubles with them.

yeah I read th notice this morning, I'm really gla that they are trying to fix the feet problem , and when the new feet parts come out I will most likely get my girl some backup feet to be sure

I can't decide what clothes to buy for my Tatiana and Tania.. T_T

I had a real bad accident with my Taniana the other day.. I was posing her, and sudden change of wind made her fall.. T_T BAM! And a chip of her arm fell of.. I couldn't even find the missing piece. Her hands are in bad shape after this too, but I think some magic eraser and maybe a little sanding will make it all better..

The other day I saw that the little piece of her arm was off.. The one shaped like a U... Her arm was off when I got her, so I looked all over for it. In her box and all. So I asked Iplehouse to buy a new piece. I got it for free ^^ AND! It seems I'll get a replacement arm for free too. Too bad that there may be a color change, but it's all my fault anyway ^^;

I'm so happy that Iplehouse are so helpful!! I can't believe this.
Though I have to wait longer for my Basic Tania. But I don't care as much since I've got Tatiana here

And I hope for more clothes for them! I want some jeans please!!

 

So, I've fallen head over heels for the Iplehouse Tatiana.... but the only owners of her that I can find have the Noctarcana version.

What I'd like to know is if anyone owns or knows anyone who owns a basic Tatiana. o_o;; I can't understand why there isn't any of her out there, she's gorgeous (not to mention cheap)!
