That sucks so much for your computers, Ingie and I hope you figure out whatever it is soon, or that it goes away. But I'm glad you didn't lose anything! I have had to go through many a crashed computer and know how you feel about lost pictures.

Also, I must confess, I didn't come up with Charlie on my own. My grandmother has always said that if she had been a boy her parents would have named her Charlie Joe and wishes they still had (she hates her name) because that would be cute for a girl. I completely agree with her and thus, the name Charlie.

 

Cute too! LOL. Maybe that's better!

ThrowMyFaith, I fixed my computer, almost have my daughter's computer fixed, and have 4 more that I pray won't be attacked!!! I don't know how/ where what why of these dang things! But yah, Love Charlie

 

ThrowMyFaith, Charlie is a totally cute name for a JID. It has the same vibe as "Rowan" that HLG has used for her sweet girl - very hip and cool.

Shuga - I love that cute photo of your Chloe. It's so sweet the way you've captured your cute girl under that big, elegant hat! I love the polka-dotted fabric of her dress too. I am also working on a polka-dotted dress for Mirina at the moment. It's in shades of dusty pink with ecru dots - looks quite old-worldish and Victorian.

Ally, Ryan has the cutest boy outfit!! I love how modern and casual it is. The cutest thing are his little sneakers. They are just so perfect down to the last detail!

I am so excited and Ynja is even worse XD Spoiled little brat getting more spoiled by getting a man all for herself.
I honestly didn't remember to ask about the JID girls, but I wouldnt be surprised it Marsh makes them. I know she is currently working on a set of pants for Ynja from measurements so I wouldnt be surprised if she doesnt make pants for JID girls yet marsh would if you asked

 

shuga WOW great job on the dresses and hats. It's funny because I don't think the hats look too big at all where as when you first posted the hat I thought it might look too big. I think the big, floppy hat with the simple lines of the sundress work perfectly.

LWR Yea, I know she can make pants from measurements so I could always give her those. I still don't know, though, if my hubby ordered me a boy or girl so I am trying really hard not to buy anything. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a girl but you never know. Ynja may be spoiled but she's so darn cute that I would spoil her too. I keep stalking the mail carrier for my head from the faceup artist. She was supposed to mail her last Saturday so she should be here any day. I feel like she's been gone forever.

 

Ohhh thats so exciting Laura! I am so excited to get my Ynja's second faceplate (which will probably be her main face).
DaggerChan is going to be painting my Jerome which is super lucky since I will just barge into her house with a HUGE dolly box demanding for him to be serviced NOW >_<
While she paints I will try my hand and blushing him a tiny bit, and maybe a tattoo or two.
I have like 3 SD sized shirts at home that I am hoping might fit my boy, 2 of them are long sleave but I dont mind if I have to shorten up the sleaves a bit, I can handle that no problem.

Sorry to hear about your computer Ingie... Have you tried Googling the problem? I sometimes find detailed instructions on how to solve virus issues by searching for similar experiences online!

I love the nickname Lottie! Mostly because it reminds me of Little Lotte, you know, Phantom of the Opera style!

 

I really need to see more pictures of that SID body! I sure hope it'll include the mobility joints eventually?? Oh and those KIDs I need to see them too!

Oh, thanks, irezumifan, boy I complain alot don't I, LOL. I was lucky, a repair install worked without losing my stuff. I was worried because I couldn&#8217;t get access to my files so I could back them up first in the repair council. It worked out for my daughter&#8217;s computer too, thank goodness (still installing updates there though, LOL)

 

Thanks guys! The shirt is from F2BM and the pants are Tonner that are borrowed from a friend. The shoes are... Magic Tailor if I remember right. The funny thing is... Johnny isn't from modern times, so these are soooo NOT his style of clothes. He'll eventually be wearing nothing more than a pair of tattered knee breeches. Just have to get off my butt and make them. :-P He's a Bilge Rat on his sister's Pirate Ship.

 

Soooo...I wasn't happy with the way dollzone cut the wig I got for Clarissa so I took her with me to my hairdresser today That was fun^^

I'm so glad I adopted her - she's so much fun. And with her new haircut I'm really getting an idea which style of clothing will fit her I loooove getting to know my dollies *ggg*

Ugh, Lorti, I know! I'm almost crawling out of my skin with impatience. I think the reason I'm so impatient to get her is because I have one girl already and know what to expect, and she's only coming from a few states over. I am crossing my fingers for today or tomorrow. Depending on what time of day she gets here I want to do a box opening, so I will definitely post.

 

Ugh, Impatience should be my name. Last time I asked they said mid-April, which is next week. I hope that's right, I'm afraid to ask for another update for fear she's been pushed back further! ;_;

HLG - thanks - the dresses came out really cute! And I'm loving the hats too! I've got a local doll meet next weekend (17th) and the theme is "Spring" so both my girls will be dressed in their dresses & hats! I'll share pics after the meet.

Thanks Shuga and strawberry! Yeah, nine9 is awesome and the tees fit great. I have the one she is wearing and then one in black, now I wish I would have bought the white too! They go with everything! They fit large breast, but it looks kind of awkward around the stomach because they don't cover it all the way and flare out. Gemma has one on in the photo thread, but she has her gray sweater over it and you can't tell.
Are you able to host GO's yet? I wouldn't mind having a few more thingsfrom nine9 and I'm sure others wouldn't either. Maybe I could host one if enough people waned stuff???

Ahhh! Haven't been on here much lately

Finally got my packages from Dollmore yesterday, though. Archie now has a bed (the walnut coloured one), a wooden bench, a Santa hat, a black beanie, two pairs of socks (his Risky Business outfit is now complete, haha), two scarves, a set of playing cards and, uh, some handcuffs *cough* for when I finally get around to getting him his Cook *cough* I also got him some eye putty and a face shield. It was totally like Christmas up in here yesterday! Haha.

So if anyone was wondering, the striped anklets and the basic socks fit JID boys perfectly.

Also, that Santa hat? Sooo freaking cute! Imma do a Christmas photo shoot in December, that's for sure

Anyway, the face shield thingy was the last piece of the puzzle before I could send Archie's head off for a face-up. So I'm saying auf Wiedersehen to his head next week

 

Yay faceup! Hope you don't have to be without his head for too long.

AND MY HUBBY IS AWESOME. For my birthday he's ordered me two Dollheart sets - and lent me the money for Elena as well! Her and Lily will have matching outfits- TOO CUTE.

Man this thread moves so fast it's hard to keep up. I asked Iple if they had plans to do the RS JID's again someday and they said probably but don't know when. I'm so bummed I missed it.

AllyCSPro Johnny looks great with his "proper" eyes. I love the color on him. I can't believe those are acrylic eyes. They look like glass. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see him in his black wig. It's hard to picture after seeing him a few times as a blonde.

Someone is hosting a Nine9Style GO in the GO thread and is putting the order in on May 10th, so for those of you interested, that gives you some time to get in. I think I'm going to order some of those new headbands they have for sale now. One even has a "zebra" jewel on it & would go with those zebra pants I made!!

I think it was SB? or someone who gets dollheart outfits for her girls. Do most all of them fit? Or do they usually only fit the small bust? Any help would be great because I am looking at doing a preorder & want to know what would fit & what wouldn't.

They are so cute together! awh! I really want a WS doll. They are so beautiful!

 

I was a little surprised at how good Charlie looks next to Elena. Elena has mellowed out quite a bit since I first got her, but next to Charlie she just looks like a darker skin tone instead of an unnatural one. I was really expecting a bit more of a difference with the white skin, but they compliment each other quite nicely.

 

They look so great together! I LOVE Charlie's wig!!!!!

I'm hoping it'll fit Lily, it doesn't look especially tight and matching outfits would be to die for. I ordered Cherry Classic for Lily and Cherry Romance for her sister.

Now that I think about it, Lily's sister needs a name.. Wonder if I should go with a similar-sounding name or continue the theme? Anise and Dahlia come to mind. Tansy? Lilah?

For those interested in the difference between the KID and JID sizes, I got some very detailed information from Iplehouse. Primarily of interest to JID owners I think is the relative age of the KID dolls, and also the fact that their heads will be very close in size to JID. It does sound like they have decided to manufacture KIDs instead of a less mature JID body to fulfil customer requests (which I think is a pity but then again with Iplehouse if they get enough requests they might still do it!)

 

This is nice to know! I'm glad the BID's are coming out sooner! They are the ones I really want ^^
