Congrats, ndavid912!! I'll have to go check out my order status. Since I've hit my dolly limit this year with Benny, no RS JIDs for me at this time. But, oh, I find Jerome so tempting. (Totally OT, but I'm chiming in with the love for the new 52 cm souldoll boy. I think my Misato (soulkid Linn) has finally found her man - but next year for that.)

I got lucky, and my Ryan sits up like a champ. He's strung fairly snug, so his joints ratchet loudly when I pose him to sit, but hey, if it works...

Totally with you guys on Iple being a Love/Hate relationship! This ordering period for the Special Edition JIDs could be dangerous... especially if one of my sales goes through. I think I may be able to resist a Jerome. I'm not 100% positive that that is what sculpt will work for Asalie's other best friend (Suki, my RS "I" is her best friend), and if it is I'm not entirely sure what skintone this character is. I don't know if he's fair, tan, or super!tan.

Buuuut. If they have Benny in this ordering period... Lol... I might end up waiting on more than one Iple doll again. I've got a fullset Storm on order right now; and the new NC characters are gorgeous as well. I'm particularly fond of the girl ~ if she's an EID, I'll be safe. If she's SID, OHCRAP. Because I really love that size, and I love tan skin. And Iple makes pretty girls.

And Souldoll's new boy looks like a caveman without a wig on. But his body is interesting, and I'm interested in seeing what other sculpts they'll release in that doll size.

I guess I'm lucky, I have all the Iple girls I need (at least, until Soo makes an appearance in RS) but my, Carina is lovely! No more dolls for me anytime soon though, husband gave in on Minifee Chloe but I doubt he'll do so again anytime soon.

Grrr I hate this, I've been spazzing out all day! The last time I was this excited was when I was 9 and I was going to Disney World for the first time. SID, I'm gonna cave-done case closed, EID I'll pass and hate myself for a week, but VERY happily jump on Tatiana (I must have her) and (maybe if not later) Jerome! The second option was my original plan...for October...

I'm also going to write to Iplehouse and ask (well express my interest) in LT Brown JIDs. I try to every couple of months or so since they released LT Brown Kamau, just to let them know I'm still interested. If anyone is interested, I'm encouraging you to write to them too! >__< If the JIDs were LT Brown, I wouldn't be torn between the 2 lines! LOL!

I hate you Iplehouse...but I can suggest ways to help better yourself. >__<

Overalls are cute, but not really to my (or Kale's) tastes. Kind of pricey too... Giggling at the fish shirt though.

BTW, it's not like I like the other JID sculpts less, it's just that it took me two months to pick out 4 I can't live without. I'm just going to try not to click on the other pages (with that alluring "buy" button) too much because the last thing I need to do is add on Vito, I, and Benny to the wish list shortly followed by Joshua and Amy! Anyone getting these sculpts please spam away! >__<

Oooh! I wonder what they're doing about the high heeled feet suggestion about our girls...I'll try to write to them about that sometime next week or so.

 

Ugh, I want JIDs in Light Brown, but my wallet DOES NOT WANT.
But I do want heel feet for the girls, and for them to make fabulous shoes like they do for the EID/SID women. My Yur has several pairs of fabulous shoes from Iplehouse.

And did you just hear my wallet sigh with relief at the news that Carina is an EID? LOL. It only thinks its safe... : I'd need to see her face to know for sure, but she might fit in as a relative to a couple of my JIDs...

 

Lol! I do love her, but the EID body is way too big for me, I've held my friend's and it's intimidating...although, if it was an SID woman and EID man, I would have still jumped on it because that super hero body (and model body now that I look at it again) is YUMMY! >_< LOL! I'm 99% sure I'm safe on this one, fortunately and unfortunately.

Yes, the EID body is huge, but I love how they're just pretty much scaled up versions of the JID bodies.

I do plan on having EIDs in my collection eventually, but pretty much only. I tried Yur as an EID, and she was just too much woman for the character. And her head looked teeny on the body since I keep a sleeker wig on her, rather than something with volume to reduce the pin-headedness. I now have her as a SID, and I love this size. Its big, without being too big. I was thinking that the only female sculpt I'd go for on the EID body would be Ashanti; but Carina is making me re-think that. What I have in mind would work better as an SID though -- either an aunt or great aunt to the Iple kiddos I've got that are siblings (Asalie, Kale -- JIDs Tatiana and Ryan; and Tarek -- currently YID Mars, soon to be SID Storm).

I'll have to see though, if she suffers from the pin-headedness like Yur does. I really hope she doesn't work for what is bouncing around in my head... I really don't want to be waiting on more than one doll at a time unless they were ordered together!

We have a plan to release BID around October.. and will release KID next year Spring.. The doll development is not easy ...so there is possibility to take more time..

After reading the Noct bios on the JID, it was ironic that Tania and Tatiana are twins. I knew they are sisters, but not twins. Get this, Like Tania, Rose is the youngest twin. And learn more about pairings, from what I read is

Tania --> Joshua (He gets sad that Jerome has interest with Tati, so give the poor boy to Tania)
Tatiana --> Jerome
I --> Vito (Love triangle with Vito ---> I --> Kamau)
Amy --> Ryan?

Does anyone notice that Amy is the only JID that isn't featured in the Noct circus?


But I see Jerome --> Amy in the jogging outfits which they look cute in. AND Vito with I on the hoodie shoot.

Timid - It looks really really close! I'd bet on shirts and possibly shorter pants. You may have to hem long pants...but if it means epic cloths for my boy? I don't mind a little hemming.

 

Lol! Yay so much excitement! Too bad about the BIDs and KIDs, but at least we have time to save (I already know I'm in trouble with them).

I've always known I was going to get RS Tatiana, but I'm a little torn over Jerome...Souldoll's Lester looks really appealing, and he's really close to the JID boys, just taller (since he's NS and not Indian, he can totally be taller). Grrr...I guess I can always get Lester later since he's not limited. I started saving fot Tatiana,I don't know if I'll make it in time to save for Jerome...this is awful!

I would LOVE to make a Saree. But I think I want it in SD size. Easier to make the choli in that size Haven't found "directions" yet though of how long the Saree is supposed to be according to the height of the person wearing it.

EDIT: 1 JID girl, 1 JID boy, 8 pieces of clothing (dresses, a belt, a shirt, pants, and a set of undies each), 3 pair of shoes, and 2 wigs = $1130.10 PLUS SHIPPING. That would be a hell of a layaway. Emphasize the word HELL If done in 3 payments, each has to be $377. Yikes. I won't dare... yet.... We have till September what again?

*sigh* after thinking about it very carefully, I've decided to sit this one out totally. Even Tatiana. I want the JIDs in LT Brown. If they release them in that color, I'm getting 4. Yes 4: Tania, Tatiana, Ryan and Jerome. It'll cost me about $1600 for just the dolls before shipping, but that's what I want (and by the time they cave and release them I'll have the funds available to be one of the first people to order!). I'm going on an Iple-fast. No other Iples til then.

I think I might be able to set this one out as well. Like you, I'm wanting to see JIDs in Light Brown. I would flail and die over a Benny in that color. So I am currently safe from the JIDs.

I may not be safe from the new NC big girl though... D: I have to see her pictures first, and determine if I want a girl that big around again; or if I should wait and see if they'll do an SID release on that one.

I agree with Imp. I like the MSD/Mini sized dolls. They are easy to control, and doesn't take up much space =3 If I did ever get a Large doll, it will be in the 50-60cm range. Anything bigger might be a hassle.

Someone HAS to have a RS Vito..I guess I can pester the Photo Request forum.

 

Ah, I agree on the size thing. I think if I really loved a particular sculpt I would go as big as 65 (would still prefer 60 or lower though) but no bigger!
Thankfully, I'm not feeling any "must buy now!"s with the Iple releases. Could be more to do with the fact that I'm waiting on two dolls already though. xD

Okay, I just barge right in but I am so excited as FINALLY, Benny was shipped out! I have had an outfit ready for her for a month now and have been wondering if she would ever wear it!

While at the BJDC I saw the large version of a darkskin Iplehouse. My goodness, the color was just outstanding! I was so impressed and so happy to see that my Benny will look that great!

Soon I hope to have something more to share here. I think I will have to pass up the JID specials this time since now I will have two. I was bad at the show, ordered one there and came home and bought two more after seeing some other brands in person. Just too many beautiful bjds out there.

 

Does anyone have Tania in real skin with default faceup? Or I in realskin? I would love to see pictures!

Ah, he's to die for *swoons*. RS Vito is what sold me on the sculpt, although I went with a RW . Can't justify a twin for him, and already have a layaway on a MNF going, so I'll be sitting this one out. Even the tempting NC releases don't look like any of my charas (though I should keep my mouth shut until I've seen Theo from the front, or I'll jinx myself *L*). I would love an RS Jerome or Tania, but don't have the money . . . oh, to fall into a freak pile of money.

 

Vito looks cute, but I am not sure if he would fit the character in mind u-u Anyone want to spam some RS Ryan and Josh pics (black wigs if possible). They are the only 2 that are some what mature looking u-u DAMN YOU Rose for your thing with older looking boys!
