Regarding the boys... would you say Mobility Joint or just a general one?

 

Mobility! XD I find it helps with sitting and other leg poses, making odd ones look more natural

Well, I redid Aiyana's faceup AGAIN. One of my cats jumped into my lap when I was holding her, so she got some nice scratches XD
Needless to say, the cats are banned from the doll area now, especially Jabba -__-

Edit: Hopefully in a bit I'll spam the redo of Aiyana's face. It looks essentially the same, just a few differences here and there.

 

Is it just me or if you changed that to a brown wig that he'd look like Jacob from twilight... *shudders*.. he's a hunk but dear lord I really don't like that series.

Hehe...Ryans kinda look like Edward...even my realskin one with the right wig can. I noticed it during a photo shoot and couldn't stop laughing for a good minute! >__<

AmoraSeth - Thanks! Actually, no! They are Ersa Flora glass eyes. These are the HD-02's...way more green in person, but they're really nice. I plan on getting him a proper pair in the light blue eventually, but the teal has grown on me. Her eyes are awesome though. I highly recommend the glass ones. (I've never gotten her acrylics before...none of my dolls have acrylic eyes )

I wrote a nice shopping list for my brother since the Micheals is in the same town as his girlfriend, so I'm crossing my fingers that I will get Rose's faceup down this weekend. Also I told him to hunt down MSC in the hobby stores there since they carry Tamiya paints, they might, might carry MSC, but I am not hopeful on that department. I will have to hit the gundam model store near my Grandma's to pick up some cans of it when we go visit her next u-u Mean time..good old Testors xP

 

If you want spray, Volks USA carries both MSC and ZM spray. The shipping costs are that bad for ZM spray, and its around the same cost as MSC with gas costs for me XD

kpatillo Wow! O.o I guess boys have thinner waists but still imagining that after my Tatie can only wear SD skirts...(we put Tatie's skirt on my friend's Supia Rosy and it was almost big on her O____O )
Also, in their Etsy store, you could click on their "Sold" button and you could see their items even if they currently have an emty shop becuse Etsy keeps them!
It's under the "username's info" panel, then you see "Other items" panel. In that theres "x items for sale" and under that, is their sales.

Edward does look great (although I was partial to the shirtless look). LOL! I'd love to get shirt like that, not for Rohit, but for boys closer to our time period!

 

Oh, and for the record, I'm still a die-hard "general thigh" fan. I just don't find myself requiring the guys to do poses that would require its use. My Ranma has the mobility thigh, but I haven't needed to use it yet. And two of my EID boys have it (one because he came from the marketplace like that, and the other was my first "try" of it.) but haven't used it yet either.
I guess we just do a lot more standing around, here.

Does anyone have any boys nine9 shirts they would mind trying on their JID girls for me? I would like to know how they fit...

 

I'll have the vintage hoodie (hooded t? or whatever they call it) for Phoenix in a week (or hopefully less). He's still on the girl jid body so I'll have pictures of that soon.

 

I only have one Iplehouse mini, a JID Ryan. I've had him for a few months, but only recently got him in working order as his right foot arrived to me broken!

But now he's all put together and good as new. That being the case, I have been playing with him quite a bit and discovered he is very stubborn to sit up unless he has something behind him. He can only just barely sit up on his on with his legs bent at the knee. I thought it was just his pants at first, but even sitting naked, he has it rough. I've heard of issues like this with them -- What I'm wondering is, anyone have any tips, or just one of those things?

Septunie i have a JID girl but it seems they all have the same pros and cons at least with sitting the situation here is absolutely the same. I usually place my girl's supporting herself, or bend her thigh joints or if im at a very patient mood i use her butt joints. But thats really a hard method X.x
Or it is just me whos so lame? Anybody can easily use the butt joints?

edit: oh and for improve sitting, i sueded my girl's thigh joint with hot glue, but not the joint socket where sueding is meant to do because the glue would soak in to the coarse surface. I glued the ball itself excluding the coarse here too. It works pretty well.

Looks like I'm not buying this ordering period either.

I like the new dolls they are showing. Yummy tan skin. Probably SID's.

I'm kinda miffed though. Where are the BID's!? They keep pushing the release date back. First the 1st haft of the year, then the middle of August (which I doubt the are now going to do because they have re-re-released RS JID's and have two new SD size dolls out) UGH!

 

I was really really looking forward to the BIDs this month and was financially prepared that way. Even JIDs this month would be REEEEALY stretching my limit. Now I look at the SD sized ones and my MSD and below law goes out the window and down a manhole. I'm scared I'm going to love them so so so much that I'll buy both on lay away (which I wanted to avoid like poison).
